Dacheng had been paying attention to Bai Meiyue. When he first saw Bai Meiyue, he thought that Bai Meiyue was just a naive little girl who could be controlled. However, after seeing the sharp look in her eyes, he realised that Bai Meiyue was not that easy to master. What was more, this woman seemed a bit too skilled. Much more skilled and powerful than him.

He was quite curious about this woman, as Lu Yin had spoken about her to him when they were returning. From Lu Yin’s words, this woman was not only ruthless but also cruel. Lu Yin told him that Bai Meiyue was quite scheming and sly.

From what she said, Bai Meiyue had intervened between her and Lei Qian, which was why Dacheng had spoken up for Lu Yin. He wanted to see what kind of relationship this woman had with Lei Qian.

He disliked women like Bai Meiyue the most. Just because they were pretty, they thought that they could look down on men like him. Just because he was from a small village, this woman was treating him like he was not worth her attention.

But Bai Meiyue’s indifference was not what made Dacheng dislike her; it was his inability to control a woman like her. When he was trapped in the village, it was Yang Chunhua who came to rescue him. Ever since then, he has stayed with Lei Qian and the small team.

Though Yun Chuan and the rest didn’t go through life-and-death experiences with Lei Qian, they respected him very much. In the past, it was Yun Chuan who used to lead the team but with Lei Qian taking the lead, Yun Chuan had taken a back seat without anyone asking him.

It could be seen from the respecting and admiring stance of the members of the team that sooner or later Lei Qian would be the one who would take control of their team. Since Lei Qian was the strongest, it was only natural that everyone would listen to him.

At first, he thought that Lu Yin was quite close to Lei Qian; given that she was the sister of Lei Qian’s right-hand man, Dacheng thought that she was Lei Qian’s love.

She felt her heart skitter and pump wildly but then she glared at the man and questioned, “Why are you roaming naked in my house?”

“I had no other choice; the clothes I was wearing are too dirty.” Lei Qian pouted as he looked down at his slender yet muscular waist. He thought that by doing this he would be able to gain some appreciation from Bai Meiyue but the woman was glaring at him with disgust.

It looked like his plan to use his seductive charm to make Bai Meiyue like him was doomed to fail.

“Then couldn’t you have asked Ah Yan to go and fetch your clothes from your house? It is rude to roam without clothes in someone else’s house.” Bai Meiyue scolded the man fiercely. Damn, that beautiful face.
