Bai Meiyue didn’t even get a chance to get into the car when Lei Qian reached out and held her hand. He pulled her back and said to her, “I like you.”

“Wh–why are you saying these words out of nowhere?” Bai Meiyue was used to the hard approach but Lei Qian didn’t play by the rules and used the soft approach, which made it quite difficult for her to deal with him. She raised her head and glared at the man but the two pink clouds on her cheeks betrayed her.

When Lei Qian saw her blushing, he knew that his guess was right. Bai Meiyue was weak when a man showed his sincerity to her. He smiled at her and responded in a calm voice, “I thought that you forgot what I told you that night so I decided to remind you.”

He leaned down and flicked her nose with the tip of his finger. “Remember that I like you, which means that I will never like anyone else.”

Bai Meiyue stared at the man with dissatisfaction. If he only liked her, then why didn’t he come to look for her and her son? If only he had found them in time, then her son wouldn’t have had to die so pitifully.
