“What are you doing, Xiao Guan?” Lei Qian looked at the man who was trying to unlock the RV and blinked speechlessly. He saved the life of this man, and he was stealing the RV right under his nose.

He rubbed the back of his head and smiled softly before saying, “I am sorry; I thought that this RV belonged to someone else. If I had known then, I wouldn’t have touched it.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Hu Ajing, who stood behind him, snorted and said to him, “Why are you apologising? It’s not like we did something wrong. Did we?”

“Shut up, Ajing!” Fu Beimo pulled the woman behind her and then turned to look at Lei Qian and the rest with a sheepish smile. “Don’t pay attention to her; she was only speaking nonsense.”

“There is no need to apologise,” Bai Meiyue calmly glanced at the woman who stared back at her with a hint of defiance in her eyes. “You were not wrong in stealing the RV. After all, this society is not ruled by law. You can do anything you want.”

“Humph.” Hu Ajing snorted at Bai Meiyue, who simply raised a brow.

She hoped that the woman wouldn’t cause trouble for her because even though Bai Meiyue’s temper was under control, she was still a pregnant woman, and her hormones could lose control at any moment.

If this woman pissed her off, then she would have to face her wrath.

“Do you have something to say to me?” Bai Meiyue asked with a polite smile, which was not polite at all.
