The old woman didn’t want to believe that her son was way beyond saving. She instead thought that the doctors were being unfair to her and her son. They didn’t want to treat her son, so they were deliberately making up lies. They just didn’t want to help her son!

These survivors did nothing for them; just because they were under Bai Feng’s care, they thought that they could do just anything that they liked with the doctors and the nurses. Lu Yu wanted to clear up their misunderstanding!

Shen Zhen, too, looked at the people in front of her with a cold look in her eyes. She was angry, but she didn’t rush to fight with these people because she knew that there was no point in quarrelling with them. The more she quarrelled, the more these people would cling to her.

She said to them in a cold voice, “There is nothing that we can do about him. It doesn’t matter how you refuse to accept that this man is not bitten by a zombie; we are not foolish. We can see a zombie bite, and we can identify it when we see one. Take him away and put him in isolation; you can see whether this man was bitten or not in the next twenty-four hours.”

When Shen Zhen finished speaking, the survivors turned agitated. They were angry at Lu Yu for embarrassing them, and they were upset with Shen Zhen for not listening to them. Especially the old woman who heard Shen Zhen announce and deem her son as incurable. She couldn’t believe it; these people were simply heartless. She raised the machete that she had taken out of her space pocket when no one was looking and swung it down.

“AHHHHH!!!” Bai Xue screamed when she saw Bai Meiyue’s actions. “You killed someone! You killed someone!”

She pointed at Bai Meiyue, who swung the blade of a machete and let the blood, which was stuck on the blade, scatter on the floor. She looked absolutely terrified by what Bai Meiyue had done.

“There is no need to scream so loudly.” Bai Meiyue said, cleaning her ears when she heard the yelling and screaming of Bai Xue. “Look down and see if this man was even human.”

When Bai Xue saw the rotten pieces of brain along with a crystal nucleus scattered on the floor, her face turned pale, and it turned even paler when she heard Bai Meiyue say, “But there is indeed a person I am going to kill.”
