Chapter 93: Taking back supplies

“I will be taking the gold and antiques with me; do you two have something to say regarding it?” Bai Meiyue asked while looking at the two men, who hurriedly shook their heads in refusal.

Fart! As if they would dare to fight with her and snatch those supplies. Anyway, the current value of gold and these things was not as valuable as it used to be in the past. Now more than gold, they needed to get their hands on daily supplies; at least that would ensure their survival.

Xie Yi cleaned the warehouse with Xiao Wu and Bai Meiyue. It took less than three hours as everything was already packed and stored in trucks.

She stepped out of the truck and said to the two men and the rest of the boys who were picked up on the way.

“Okay, Miss Bai,” The boys started to work at once. They carried the box with supplies one after another as Bai Meiyue walked inside the building.

The man’s face was cut from one end to the other, causing his mouth to hang open and he was no longer able to close it.

For a moment, the entire lobby fell silent and everyone stared at Bai Meiyue with bated breath.

She then swivelled on the spot and left with the dagger in her hands. This building was still far from the main city, which meant that the zombies were yet to appear in this place. But Bai Meiyue was not in a hurry; with so many people bitten by those mutant rats, it would happen sooner than later.

These people could hop a bit more.

Everyone looked at Bai Meiyue, who had walked the stairs and stared at her in fright.

This woman… she was really a lunatic!

After Xie Yi and the others left, Bai Meiyue asked her brothers to drag a total of fifteen barrels of 12 litres of gasoline, 55 barrels of 120 litres of petrol, and 400 sets of warm clothes, including some coal and staple food that could be used in the freezing weather.

As for the remaining boxes, there were 40 solar panels, 19 heating rods, 8 special mobiles, 14 generators, 25 water purifiers and motors, 30 barrels of cooking oil and 100 sets of arctic jackets and winter suits with non-slipping boots.

“Someone helped me,” Bai Meiyue replied in a casual tone. She looked at the clock on the wall before turning to look at her mother. “Mom, I am hungry. Can you prepare something for me?”

“What would you like to eat?” asked Mother Bai promptly.

“Something nice.” As the last peaceful meal of this world.
