Chapter 578: Chapter 578: The Super Item Wholesaler? The Unkillable Pest!
He couldn’t help but feel a bit sentimental. He hadn’t expected that, after all these years, his Fallen Moon’s Death Ray would be used on such a weak Divine Power god. However, dying under his strongest ability wasn’t exactly an insult to his infinite potential.
Immediately after, he turned his gaze toward the direction of the Orichalcum Kingdom’s Royal City. Even Eterna was aware of the movements of the Orichalcum Kingdom’s upper-tier gods, so how could Silver Moon Wolf God be unaware? They had been plotting this for a long time, formulating many plans and contingencies, paying a great cost for this operation.
It hadn’t needed to come to this, though. They had realized that while the Orichalcum Kingdom had great depth, their strategic minds were far behind theirs. Unfortunately, the unexpected arrival of Hades had forced them into this position.
But that was fine. In the end, victory would still belong to them. As for the immense resources spent and the various costs incurred, once the Orichalcum Kingdom’s royal city was severed from the world and forcibly exiled, they could seize everything without restraint.
With the Orichalcum Kingdom’s accumulated wealth, they could easily make up for their losses, even turn a profit. Thinking of this, Silver Moon Wolf God was in a surprisingly good mood. This was the nature of war—every victory brought countless resources, far more efficient than exploiting his own followers!
After a quick mental calculation, he estimated that there were no more than ten seconds remaining before the Orichalcum Kingdom’s upper-tier god would descend. For ordinary people, that was enough time to run a hundred meters, but for someone of his caliber, it was more than enough to unleash hundreds, even thousands or tens of thousands of attacks!
Though the power of the royal city was immense, it was still a long way from fully descending. With just the external force of an upper-tier god attacking, it would be incredibly difficult for them to withstand. Moreover, the situation was critical, with the world still in the process of merging. A single mistake could cause everything to fail, resulting in a forceful expulsion.
As for Sterl, he had no further interest in him. In the Silver Moon Wolf God’s eyes, Sterl was already a dead man. No matter how powerful he was, he couldn’t survive under the Fallen Moon’s Death Ray.
In fact, Silver Moon Wolf God’s confidence wasn’t entirely misplaced. In Sterl’s vision, he only felt a flash before him, followed by a dazzling silver-white beam of light heading straight for his face. Wherever the silver light passed, space itself shattered!
At the same time, a deadly sense of danger surged through Sterl, and it was clear that the Fallen Moon’s Death Ray had exceeded the limits of what he could withstand.
He let out a soft sigh. “It seems that with my current strength, the idea of exterminating an upper-tier god is still too much of a stretch, unless I’m willing to pay the price of gathering soul power for a surprise strike. In a direct confrontation, it’s simply beyond my reach.”
There was, however, another gamble—a way to rely on luck. He could attack swiftly to trigger the Ruin Belt, and with its one-in-a-million chance of eradication, he might have a slim shot at survival. But he never placed his fate in the hands of fleeting luck. His destiny, after all, was one he intended to control.
“Enough. It ends here.”
Sterl shook his head, not discouraged. After all, he was only a third-class god. It wasn’t reasonable to expect to be invincible. However, he was confident that with his unprecedented legendary story, once he entered the realm of legends, he would gain an extraordinary legendary ability, and his strength would experience a rapid surge. By then, he was certain that even without using his soul power, he would be able to kill upper-tier gods.
For now, however, feeling the impending Fallen Moon’s Death Ray approaching at breakneck speed, he chose not to activate the Stellar Barrier from his Starry Battle Armor. Instead, he activated his Invincible Power, granting him one minute of invulnerability.
Instantly, a brilliant golden light surged from Sterl, enveloping his entire body. It was as if he was bathed in divine light, radiating an aura of holiness and grandeur. During the invincible period, all attacks were rendered completely ineffective. The Fallen Moon’s Death Ray, a force capable of severely wounding or even killing upper-tier gods, crashed into him and instantly shattered into countless silver sparkles before dissipating into nothingness.
The golden light was dazzling, resembling a small sun, drawing attention even from Silver Moon Wolf God, who had been preparing to strike the Royal City. He turned his head, just in time to see Sterl’s invincible aura disperse the Fallen Moon’s Death Ray, reducing it to nothing.
The sight left him stunned. It was as if a thunderclap had exploded in his mind. He stood frozen, his expression blank.
“What… what the hell is this?”
Such an earth-shattering scene made him curse involuntarily. His mind was full of question marks. Here he was, an upper-tier god, wielding his own divine authority and the most powerful abilities he could muster. And yet, they were casually blocked by a mere Divine Power god?
Silver Moon Wolf God could hardly believe his eyes. “What the hell is going on here?!”
Sterl was well aware that his current state was far too conspicuous, and it posed the risk of exposing his abilities. Fortunately, after activating his Invincible Power, he could choose to hide his status. He quickly decided to use this option, concealing the characteristics of his invincible state.
Before long, the golden light around him—shining like a miniature sun—began to rapidly recede, returning to its usual form. To the outside observer, it appeared as though he had used some kind of one-time life-saving item. They had no idea that Sterl was still in an invincible state.
“What… How is this possible? What did you use? How could you block my Fallen Moon’s Death Ray?!” Silver Moon Wolf God was now more focused on Sterl than on anything else, including the Royal City. His eyes were wide with disbelief, and this moment, filled with confusion and frustration, would undoubtedly become an indelible shadow in his heart.
“Hmph, I didn’t want to use it,” Sterl replied with a look of mock pain, his expression dark and displeased. “It’s a life-saving item I went through great trouble to acquire.” He then shifted his gaze toward the Royal City. “Eterna, after this battle, I expect a proper explanation, along with sufficient sincerity and compensation!”
At this moment, still stunned and disoriented, Eterna snapped out of his daze and nodded vigorously. “Mr. Hades, don’t worry! After this battle, the Royal City will give you everything you desire!”
Sterl could see that Eterna had understood the gravity of the situation—Sterl had blocked Silver Moon Wolf God’s lethal blow. While Eterna still didn’t fully understand how it was done, at least he knew that there might still be hope for Orichalcum!
Feeling somewhat reassured after Eterna’s promise, Sterl’s expression turned to one of anger as he looked back at Silver Moon Wolf God. “Where do you think you’re going? Our battle has just begun!”
With those words, Sterl shot into the air, charging directly toward Silver Moon Wolf God. In his hand, he quickly forged a sharp longsword. It was a weapon formed from both the Flowing Water Law and the Space Law, incredibly sharp and extraordinarily powerful. It gleamed with an aura of strength, as if he were a battle god destined to slay beasts, majestic and imposing.
“Battle? You and I have never fought. This has always been about crushing you!” Silver Moon Wolf God could no longer contain his rage. After a furious roar, he completely disregarded the Royal City. His body was surrounded by countless silver crescent moons, each resembling a razor-sharp blade. These lunar blades orbited him, moving in sync with his every motion.

Then, the battle between the man and the wolf began in full force. Although some effort was needed to conceal his movements, in his invincible state, Sterl’s combat ability surged explosively. He completely ignored most of Silver Moon Wolf God’s attacks, relentlessly striking at the wolf god’s massive body.
To maintain the illusion of a real fight, every time Sterl was struck, he had to feign difficulty in resisting, and force out some blood. It was painful to perform, but he managed to make it convincing enough.
In a matter of moments, the two had exchanged thousands of blows. Even though Silver Moon Wolf God was massive and had incredibly strong vitality, his body was covered in countless deep wounds. However, due to his enormous size and regenerative power, the damage wasn’t severe enough to hinder his fighting capabilities.
At this point, Silver Moon Wolf God regained his composure. Only ten seconds remained before the Orichalcum nation’s godly forces would descend. But looking at Sterl, it was clear that his only intention was to entangle him and delay the inevitable.
“Fine, then! Die!” Silver Moon Wolf God roared, his fury surging as he transformed into a Blood Crescent Moon. In an instant, he shot toward Sterl with terrifying speed.
In that moment, his burst of speed was on par with short-range space teleportation. Sterl didn’t even have time to react before the crescent moon slammed into him. However, just as before, a golden light erupted from Sterl’s body, and the deadly blow was once again perfectly absorbed.
“F**k! How do you still have this!?!” Silver Moon Wolf God revealed his true form, staring at the dissipating golden light in disbelief. Sterl stood there, completely unscathed, and Silver Moon Wolf God’s frustration reached a boiling point. He couldn’t understand—what kind of item could possibly allow this normal god to shrug off a full-force attack from an upper-tier divine being?
He was baffled. It felt as though Sterl was a wholesale dealer of invincible items. How could this god, with his ridiculous stockpile of life-saving artifacts, resist everything Silver Moon Wolf God threw at him?
He couldn’t even begin to explain how he felt. It was worse than being forced to eat something vile; he had never imagined he would be repeatedly outplayed by an ordinary god. The chances of this happening were like a normal person walking down the street and being slapped by an ant—it was utterly absurd.
Taking a deep breath, Silver Moon Wolf God realized he was running out of time. He knew he couldn’t keep dragging things out with Sterl. The boy had to have some hidden trump card, but the question was, how could he eliminate him in a matter of seconds? At this point, he felt that it was all but impossible!
