Chapter 591: Chapter 591: Anomalous Factor! [Transcendence] Will Descends!
Boom!
A thunderous roar that could shake the heavens and the earth erupted. The terrifying sound caused Sterl’s body to jolt, his ears ringing with a sharp pain.
“What’s going on now?”
A sense of caution surged in Sterl’s mind. He quickly looked up at the sky, and just by the sound alone, the noise was powerful enough to rattle him even while in his Ascend to Godhood state. The source of this sound was definitely not simple!
It wasn’t just him. Up above the royal city, a group of gods, isolated and wrapped by the power of flags, also raised their heads in confusion and awe. However, unlike Sterl, their eyes also carried a hint of hope.
Although they had no idea what was happening, they had already hit an absolute dead-end. For those who found themselves at rock bottom, every step forward, no matter how small, felt like progress.
The sky, which had already appeared gloomy due to the massive gravitational pull of the Black Hole Vortex, suddenly became even darker.
In Sterl’s perception, a hurricane-like force, not driven by gravity, suddenly surged, as though a powerful new presence was descending.
“Could it be that a mighty Divine Power from the Upper Realms has intervened? That’s impossible! According to logic, a powerful Divine Power cannot break through the barriers and limitations of the Lower Realm, or the sheer force of its own power would cause the collapse of space and matter itself!”
Sterl quickly dismissed this thought. His attention was entirely fixed on the unknown presence in the sky.
At that moment, another earth-shattering thunderclap rang out. Before Sterl could even react, a bolt of Thunder Light, so immense that it seemed to spread across the entire sky, flashed violently, lighting up the darkened world in a blinding brilliance.
Before Sterl could fully process the situation, a voice from the [Transcendence] system suddenly rang in his ears.
[Zzzzt… Alpha 8 sector anomaly detected… Scanning for anomalies… Level…]
[Scan complete… Anomaly level determined… High-level anomaly…]
[Initiating anomaly correction… All players, please be advised…]
As Sterl listened to the voice from the [Transcendence] system, he was stunned. He never expected the source of this mysterious power to be the [Transcendence] system itself! In other words, it was the power of this world!
“So… the Pseudo-black hole I created with Dream Power has been identified as an anomaly by [Transcendence]? I won’t be affected, will I?”
A chill ran down Sterl’s spine as he thought about this. Given the [Transcendence] system’s attitude, it seemed that any anomalous factors would be aggressively dealt with.
This is equivalent to a bug in the game, and it needs to be restored to its original, normal state.
“Could it be that [Transcendence] is really just a game?”
The scene before Sterl caused a whirlwind of thoughts to stir in his mind. His feelings were complicated, and various conjectures started to form uncontrollably.
“No, wait! If it were just a game, then what about the souls I devoured and refined?”
Sterl’s eyes narrowed slightly as he vaguely sensed something.
His intuition told him that this was the truth of the entire world, the very purpose of the [Transcendence] system’s existence. But the feeling was incredibly vague. No matter how hard Sterl thought or how much mental energy he exhausted, he couldn’t pierce through the mist-like barrier that surrounded the truth. It was as if some powerful force was limiting everything, preventing all beings from ever reaching the truth!
Taking a deep breath, Sterl then turned his gaze toward the gods in the royal city of Orichalcum.
What he saw was a complete reversal. The gods, who had once been desperate, now had expressions of wild joy on their faces. Even the God of Runes wore a hopeful expression, unable to contain his astonishment.
“It’s the World’s Will! The power of the World’s Will has descended!”
“This is the legendary World’s Will?”
“Great, we’re saved! The World’s Will will never allow this strange anomaly to run rampant!”
The gods clearly recognized the source of this power, calling it the World’s Will.

However, the God of Runes and the others seemed slightly different. Sterl’s gaze locked onto the God of Runes, and as expected, he saw a look of both anticipation and relief on his face.
What does this mean? Did the God of Runes already foresee that the [Transcendence] system would take action? Was he just unsure until now?
“It seems the only way to uncover the truth of this world is to go to the Upper Realms,” Sterl thought.
It was clear that this God of Runes, coming from the Upper Realms, knew far more than those from the Lower Realm could ever understand.
A cold light flashed in Sterl’s eyes. This mysterious feeling made him uncomfortable. Deep down, it felt as though a pair of unseen hands were controlling everything from behind the scenes.
Perhaps the essence of [Transcendence] was simply a game, but the reason for its existence and its true nature was definitely not that simple!
In this moment, he thought of many things, and finally, with a deep exhale, he slowly released a long, heavy sigh.
Ultimately, it all came down to power. Whether it was in the pursuit of secrets, the quest for self-preservation, or the ideal of living free from any threat or interference—where one could do whatever they wanted and avoid what they didn’t—absolute strength was the foundation needed to support it all.
If he had invincible power in the world right now, all he would need to do to uncover anything would be to strike directly. There would be no need for the current situation, where he was lost in deep thought yet still unable to touch the truth.
He shook his head, then looked up at the sky. His mind instantly recalled the massive spatial rift that appeared when the Silver Moon Wolf God descended, revealing a corner of the Upper Realms.
“I will uncover your true form sooner or later,” he thought to himself, and then forced the vague, unsettling feeling back down. He stopped dwelling on these meaningless questions and refocused his attention on the Thunder power that was continuously gathering in the sky.
Sterl wanted to see how the [Transcendence] system would “repair” the Black Hole Vortex he had created.
A fierce wind howled, and sharp Hurricanes began to swirl from all directions. These Hurricanes seemed to have a mind of their own, not only unaffected by the vortex but actually converging toward it, as though trying to bind the gravitational force of the Black Hole Vortex.
Amidst the booming thunder, countless Thunder Lights began to coalesce above, and before long, a massive orb of Thunder Light, as large as a small part of the royal city, hung suspended in the sky.
The sheer size of it alone was comparable to nearly half the size of the royal city. Sterl even began to wonder if the power contained within this Thunder Light orb, when released all at once, would be more terrifying than the explosion of the Black Hole Vortex itself.
Endless pressure emanated from the orb, as if the very world was roaring in anger.
Sterl couldn’t help but swallow. Since he had created the Black Hole Vortex, its power would not affect him, and so he was unable to sense the true force of this Pseudo-black hole.
But now, the power of this Thunder Light orb was indiscriminate, and for the first time, Sterl felt his own insignificance. It was as if he were an ant beneath a giant boulder, utterly trivial, an impact even greater than when he first encountered Gloria, the god.
At that moment, he had already mentally prepared for the possibility of being caught in the fallout and perishing. Yet, he wasn’t worried. His mastery over resurrection was so vast that, unless he was continuously wiped out by some force, he couldn’t truly be killed. This was the reason he had the confidence to roam the world without fear.
Under the Thunder, the gravitational pull of the Black Hole Vortex was unaffected, continuing to greedily devour all surrounding matter.
Essentially, this Pseudo-black hole was just a physical phenomenon, without any consciousness, and thus could not sense that the World’s Will was about to obliterate it.
However, Sterl noticed that perhaps due to the appearance of the [Transcendence] will, some changes had occurred in the surrounding space-time. The Black Hole Vortex, which had already reached the peak of its structure, was now rapidly collapsing at an astonishing speed!
In an instant, space-time began to twist wildly, as if something was about to be born and expand from the center of the Black Hole Vortex.
Even though he was immune to any of the Black Hole Vortex’s powers, Sterl could still clearly feel the destructive force building up!
Above the royal city, the God of Runes’s pupils contracted sharply. Almost simultaneously, a fatal sense of danger engulfed him.
“This is bad!”
He suddenly shouted, but just as he did, a white light chain erupted from the core of the Black Hole Vortex, expanding like a white screen of light. Everywhere it passed, everything was consumed by nothingness.
As the light screen spread, the surrounding space-time instantly collapsed. The layers of rock below were transformed into a bottomless void, and the desolate earth was replaced by nothingness. All matter was devoured, and the space itself was erased.
At that moment, the speed of the light screen seemed to reach the true speed of light, instantly enveloping the entire royal city and a small part of the world.
From the perspective of the Crystal Barrier Galaxy, it would look like an unimaginably massive Void Behemoth, unleashing a powerful strike at the Alpha 8 world. A small portion of it immediately disappeared!
As for the royal city, the flag from the Upper Realms, the Flag of Glory, almost instantly cracked into countless fissures. The invincible golden light barrier on its surface shook violently, seeming as though it would shatter and be destroyed in the next instant!
[Ding! Warning! Warning! Warning!]
[Alpha 8 anomaly mutation detected. Current anomaly level: Extreme!]
[Immediate correction initiated. Effects of the anomaly will be reversed and cleansed!]
Three urgent warnings echoed in Sterl’s ears.
This gave him a strange feeling. The voices didn’t seem to be intended for the players…
Because none of the followers he controlled had heard these warnings. So why could he hear them?
Sterl paused for a moment and immediately thought of an item he had obtained!
