Chapter 112: Garran’s Nightmare
Kalidorn was angry now that he knew Luna was the source of all these misfortunes. He gripped at his swords and tried to attack Luna, but he could not move at all. “You wretched witch! What have you done to me?!”
Luna stood calmly a few paces away. She had discarded her mask and smirked. She looked at the pathetic Kalidorn on the ground. “Don’t bother trying to move. You can’t.”
Kalidorn was even angrier, thinking that Luna had mocked him. “You think this will stop me? I’ll—”
Luna looked at Kalidorn and silenced him. She crossed her arms and smirked. “Silence. Don’t you understand, Kalidorn? This… all of this… is your doing.”
Kalidorn didn’t know what Luna meant. “What are you talking about, wretched bitch?”
Luna chuckled. She gestured toward the Berserk beasts in the arena and the chaos in the city. “All of this… the city… the arena are in ruins because of you.”
Kalidorn trembled in anger. “What lies are you spewing now?”
Luna stepped closer and smirked. “Think back, Kalidorn. Don’t you feel it? Your Storm Hawk became stronger after my master evolved it, didn’t it?”
Kalidorn was frozen as he thought of something. The storm hawk was indeed stronger than any other 3-Star beast after Lucius evolved it.
Its strength had indeed been extraordinary. But now, for the first time, doubt crept into his thoughts.
Luna’s smirk turned cruel as she continued. “That strength came with a price. Every thunderbolt your hawk unleashed carried a poison.”
Luna turned to the rampaging beasts and smirked. “Poisons that seeped into every beast it touched. It had been lying dormants for ninety days in your hawk and spread to other beasts.”
Kalidorn was shocked. He suddenly realized what was happening now. “Poison…?”
Luna smiled. “Exactly. And now, those beasts are rampaging, consumed by the poison’s final effect. But that’s not all.”
She crouched slightly, bringing her face level with his and smirked. “That same poison weakens humans like you. It’s why your body feels like it’s collapsing.”
She pointed toward the rampaging beasts. “Soon, you won’t even be able to defend yourself. You’ll be nothing but food for the beasts you once controlled.”
Kalidorn suddenly panicked after he heard the truth. “You… you monster! I’ll kill you! I’ll—”
Before he could finish his curse, his Storm Hawk let out an ear-piercing screech. It turned toward Kalidorn.
Kalidorn looked at his storm hawk in fear. He struggled desperately, but it was futile. “No! No, stay back! I command you! I’m your master!”
The storm hawk didn’t listen. It lunged at Kalidorn, its talons glowing with electric energy. In one swift, brutal motion, it crushed his skull, silencing his screams in an instant.
Luna was unfazed as she watched the scene. “How poetic. To be killed by the very beast you thought you controlled.”
The Storm Hawk turned its gaze toward Luna. It screeched as it attacked Luna. But Luna only smirked. She extended her hand to Loxen. “Shall we?”
Loxen let out a low growl. It stepped closer to her and began to glow. It then became numerous particles of light that were absorbed by Luna.
Luna smirked as she transformed. Her body began to become a bit bigger. Claws extended from her hands and legs.
She had become a Silver Shadow Panther Beastman from fusing with Loxen.
The Storm Hawk screeched again, lunging at her with all its might. But Luna didn’t flinch.
With a single, precise strike of her claws, she tore through the hawk’s chest, silencing it in one final crash.
Luna smirked as she glanced at the lifeless bodies of Kalidorn and his hawk. She turned around and melded to the shadows at the edge of the arena.

The Garran Estate, which was once a symbol of Count Garran, was now crumbling into chaos. It was full of the sounds of rampaging beasts and screams of panic.
In the middle of chaos, two figures suddenly appeared near the estate’s entrance.
They were not locals. They wore some dark clothes and their faces were partially hidden by dark hoods.
The first figure looked at the destruction and turned to the other. “02, this… isn’t right. The plan hasn’t even been set in motion, yet chaos already reigns.”
The second figure crossed his arms and nodded. “No doubt about it. This isn’t our work. But it’s… effective, isn’t it? We couldn’t have hoped for better conditions to take the scale.”
01 chuckled. “Effective, yes. But unsettling. Let’s move. The mission comes first.”
The two figures stepped further into the estate. As they approached the main courtyard, the extent of the chaos became clear.
Beasts of all kinds rampaged through the once-pristine grounds. Their roars beat the weakened screams of the estate’s inhabitants.
The tamers, once proud and strong, were now frail. their bodies too weak to fight back. Many had already fallen because of their beasts sudden betrayal.
02 glanced at the scene. He was uneasy for some reasons. “What the hell happened here? Even our plan wasn’t supposed to cause anything like this.”
01 looked at 02 and frowned. “I don’t know. But it doesn’t matter. Ignore the chaos. The scale is our priority.”
Just as they moved to continue their mission, a figure stepped into their path from the shadows.
The man was tall and imposing, but his clothes were tattered. It was Dorian Garran. He was in rage and confusion because of this chaos.
Dorian looked at the two suspicious figures. “I knew it. I sensed something unnatural. You two—you’re responsible for this. Your appearance alone confirms it.”
01 and 02 stopped. 01 looked at Dorian. “I didn’t expect to meet the head of this dying family. But we don’t have time for this nonsense.”
02 frowned. He looked at 01. “I’ll deal with him. You get the scale.”
01 nodded and moved forward. He brushed past Dorian as he was nothing more than an obstacle. “Make it quick. The chaos won’t mask us forever.””
02 stepped forward. He stared down at Dorian. “You.. Run while you still can, old man. Or else…”
Dorian became angry. He clenched his fist. “How dare you? You invade my estate, bring ruin to my family, and now you insult me?!”
Dorian’s face twisted in anger, his hand clenching into a fist. “How dare you?” he growled, his voice booming. “You invade my estate, bring ruin to my family, and now you insult me?! I will make you regret underestimating me.”
Both of them were now standing at the opposite of each other. They were ready to summon their beasts to fight.
