Chapter 133: Dreston’s Deal with the Flares

Dreston walked toward the main hall. He was still frustated, but his stomach growled.

He hadn’t eaten since the evaluation, so he walked there to search for some foods.

As he entered the main hall, he froze. It was because he suddenly heard some voice from behind. “I’ve been waiting for you.”

Dreston turned around. His eyes narrowed as he saw a blue-haired woman sitting casually on his sofa.

Dreston frowned. “Who are you? How did you get into my residence?”

The woman smirked. She leaned back slightly as she was unbothered by his anger. “You don’t need to worry about that. What you need to know is that we’re here to help you.”

Dreston was surprised. He immediately scanned the room and soon noticed two other figures standing in the shadows near the walls.

Both of them stepped forward. One had fiery red hair while the other was a broad-shouldered man with golden locks tied back in a rough ponytail.

Dreston knew that these people were dangerous, but he kept his calm. He glared at them. “Help me? With what?”

Blue Flare rose from the sofa and smirked. She stepped closer to him. “Oh, come on, Dreston. We know about your match with Magnus. We know how it ended. You lost to him, didn’t you?”

Dreston stiffened as his pride was attacked. He snapped at them. “What of it? I’ll surpass him eventually.”

Blue Flare nodded knowingly and smirked. “Of course you will. But not if you keep going like this. That’s where we come in.”

Dreston frowned as he was a bit suspicious. “What do you mean? I don’t understand it.”

Instead of answering directly, Blue Flare let out her aura. The other followed suit and let out their 5-Star auras for Dreston to see.

Dreston stumbled back slightly. He was surprised as he felt the sheer aura emanating from them. He was at a loss for words.

Blue Flare then smirked. “We are 5-Star Tamers. Our power is far beyond anything you’ve seen in the Golden Complex—or even in the Platinum Class.”

Dreston then smirked after knowing it. “5-Star Tamers, huh? Alright, you’ve got my attention. How exactly do you plan to help me?”

Blue Flare’s smirk deepened. “That depends. Are you willing to do whatever it takes to surpass Magnus?”

Dreston smirked and crossed his arms. “Whatever it takes. I’ll do anything to prove I’m stronger than him.”

Blue Flare exchanged a brief glance with Red Flare and Yellow Flare. They smirked as their plan finally fell into place.

Blue Flare stepped closer to Dreston. “Good. Because with us, you’ll have the power and the resources to do exactly that. All we ask in return is your cooperation.”

Dreston smirked, knowing that he could have something good. “Fine. Tell me what you want from me.

Blue Flare chuckled. “Oh, we’ll get to that. For now, consider this the beginning of a very profitable partnership.”

Dreston smirked as he would finally have the power to beat Magnus while the three Flares knew they had their way into the Platinum District.

The next day, Dreston walked toward the Platinum District. He was excited, but he was also quite careful as the three figures followed him from behind.

After some time, he glanced back and frowned. “How exactly do you plan to enter the Platinum District?

Blue Flare smirked. “You don’t need to worry about that. Just go through the gate and handle your part. Leave the rest to us.”

Dreston frowned slightly but nodded. “Fine. I’ll trust you—for now.”

The gate to the Platinum District was ahead. Dreston approached it confidently. He then retrieved his Platinum ID.

The guards at the gate inspected it briefly before nodding and activating the mechanisms. The gates opened and Dreston stepped inside without a backward glance.

Dreston glanced around briefly. He was excited about the new environment. He then made his way to his assigned platinum residence.

When he arrived, he entered his residence and took a moment to admire the space. The interior was spacious and luxurious. It was also equipped with high-end machines. “This is more like it.”

But his satisfaction was short-lived. As he turned toward the main hall, he was surprised to see that the flares group were already sitting in there.

Dreston looked at them in disbelief. “How—? How did you get in here?”

Dreston stepped closer and was amazed by the beast core. “Of course it knows it. This 5-Star Wind Core will boost my Whirlwind Wolf’s power to an entirely new level.”

Blue Flare nodded. “Exactly. Your beast is already wind-based, so absorbing this core will enhance its abilities beyond anything you’ve seen before.”

Dreston took the core carefully. He smirked as he examined it. “With this, Magnus won’t stand a chance. Thank you for it.”

Red Flarae pushed himself off the wall and chuckled. “Don’t thank us just yet. We’ve given you the tool. Now it’s up to you to use it properly.”

Yellow Flare stepped toward the door and glanced back briefly. “We’ve got our own mission to handle. Make sure you don’t waste what we’ve given you.”

Blue Flare turned around. She smirked as she followed the others. “We’ll be watching. Don’t disappoint us, Dreston.”

With that, the three Flares exited the residence, leaving Dreston alone with the 5-Star Wind Core.

Dreston clenched the beast core tightly. “This is it. With this, I’ll surpass Magnus—and prove that I’m the strongest.”
