Chapter 164: An Invisible Heist! Bryson’s Vault Cleaned Out Without a Trace!
Savra kept her gaze fixed on the Red Dragon Heart. “Lucius, are you absolutely sure this is a Red Dragon material? Something about this feels… off.”
Lucius raised his eyebrow. He was confused by what Savra meant. “Off? What do you mean?”
Savra folded her arms. “It’s strange. The other Red Dragon materials you’ve encountered so far were all still fresh and brimming with powerful auras.”
Savra then used her finger to point at the heart. “But this heart was fossilized and weakened when we found it. Why is it so different from the others?”
Lucius was momentarily surprised by the question. “You have a point. It is really quite weird.”
He hadn’t really thought about it before, but now that Savra mentioned it, he couldn’t ignore it.
He then suddenly realized something. He glanced back toward the heart. “Wait a minute. Could it be…?”
Without wasting another second, he activated his system. “System, absorb this Red Dragon Heart, but leave enough to maintain its appearance and aura.”

The system responded instantly. Lucius immediately opened his points to see if it was increased.
When he looked at it, he realized that it had been increased by a lot. It was actually increased by 700 million hack points.
It wasn’t quite as much as what he had received from absorbing the Red Dragon Blood Essence, but it was still an enormous amount.
For a brief moment, Lucius almost felt like crying. “My points are back… and in massive numbers!”
Unable to hide his excitement entirely, he turned to Savra and praised her. “Matriarch, you’re brilliant!”
Savra blinked. She was surprised by Lucius’ sudden outburst. “What are you talking about?”
Lucius took a breath. He quickly thought up an explanation. “It’s nothing, really.”
He then pointed at the heart. “I just realized something important. My so-called ‘restoration potion’ wasn’t strong enough to fully restore a fossilized Red Dragon Heart.”
Lucius held the jar and smirked. “That means… it wasn’t exactly fossilized in the first place.”
Savra was a bit surprised by Lucius’ words, but she was curious about it. “Go on.”
Lucius gestured toward the Red Dragon Heart. “The heart looked like a fossil, but it wasn’t fully petrified. The exterior was hardened, making it seem like a fossil, but the inside remained intact.”
Lucius then glanced back at Savra. “When I used the potion, it only restored the appearance.”
He paused briefly before adding, “But because it was still a heart on the inside, the potion triggered something. The heart reacted to the energy and… healed itself.”
Savra crossed her arms. She was processing his explanation. “I see. So, it was never truly fossilized. It was just in a dormant state beneath that hardened surface.”

Lucius smirked. He was pleased that she accepted his reasoning. “Exactly. It makes sense now.”
Savra nodded slowly and smirked. “I understand now. Well, in that case, it seems I don’t really need to pay you as much as I promised, right?”
Lucius’s smirk faltered slightly and was replaced by a brief frown. “Is she serious?”
Savra only laughed softly after seeing his reaction. “Don’t worry, Lucius. I’m just playing around. You’ll get what you’re owed.”
Lucius relaxed slightly but was still glaring at her. “Not funny, Matriarch. Don’t mess with my compensation.”
Savra still chuckled and then turned serious again. “Now that we know about this heart, I have another question.”
Lucius raised his eyebrow. “What is it?”
Savra glanced at him. “How did they know this was here? Even we didn’t know its true nature until just now. So how could they?”
Lucius rubbed his chin thoughtfully. “I know that they have an artifact to sense Red Dragon materials, but only within a limited range.”
Lucius then continued. “Maybe they have a stronger version of the artifact that had a longer range than the previous one.”
Lucius then pointed at far away. “If that’s the case, they could have detected the heart from afar, which might explain why they targeted your estate in the first place.”
Savra nodded slowly. “That could be it. If they have something like that, it would explain how they knew that it was here.”
Lucius leaned back slightly and smirked. “Either way, it doesn’t matter now. We know what they’re after, and we have it in our hands. The important thing is to stay one step ahead.”
Savra nodded. “Agreed. For now, let’s wait for Ragnar to return before we plan our next move.”

Bryson was walking toward the end of the warehouse. Without hesitation, he reached one of the shelves and rotated an ordinary statue.
With a low rumble, a hidden entrance was opened, revealing a secret passageway.
Bryson entered the hidden room swiftly, where he kept some of his most sensitive documents and rare materials.
However, the moment he stepped inside, he froze in place. He was shocked to see that the room was completely empty.
Every document and valuable material he had stored here were gone. The shelves were bare, as if they had been meticulously cleaned out.
His surprise quickly became anger as he clenched his fists tightly. “How the hell did this happen?”
Bryson wasted no time. He walked to the far side of the room, where a camera artifact was hidden. He put it there to monitor this space in case of intruders.
He immediately activated it. He then began to review the recorded footage to see who the hell dared to rob his secret room.
As the recording played, his expression turned from confusion to disbelief. The footage showed the documents and materials vanished without a trace.
They were all absorbed into a single point. It was like something invisible absorbed all of them.
No one appeared in the recording, but the evidence was clear: someone had entered while remaining completely invisible.
Bryson slammed his fist into the wall. He gritted his teeth and muttered. “No wonder they got past the guards… It was an invisible thief.”
He then clenched his fists even tighter in anger. “When I find you… I will kill you for this.”
