Chapter 185: The Infernal Leader

Karion and Bryson were currently figthing with each other. Karion with his thunder attack and Bryson with his molten flame attack.

Karion moved first as he propelled himself forward, using his wings to be faster than before.

His claws were also glowing with thunder as he aimed at Bryson, wanting to kill him.

Bryson didn’t flinch. He raised his claws and growled. “You’ll have to do better than that!”

Karion struck him with his thunder claw, but Bryson twisted his body and countered by whipping his molten tail forward like a blade.

Karion frowned as he leapt back with a flap of his wings and tried to rebalance himself with his feet.

Bryson, using the momentum of his tail, lunged forward. He used his molten claws to attack Karion. “Infernal Claw Rend!”

Karion dodged to the side, despite the close range. The attack narrowly missed him, crashing to the ground.

Karion retaliated with a spinning strike, using his thundertail as a whip. It connected to Bryson’s side and sent him backward.

Bryson staggered but quickly regained his footing. Some of his scales fell down, thanks to the attack.

He glanced at Karion and growled. “You’re faster than I expected, but speed alone won’t save you!”

He slammed his claws into the ground to crack them. From within, lava began to rush out toward Karion as he roared. “Molten Wave!”

Karion flew into the air with his wings as the molten wave exploded below him. “You think I’d fall for that? Not a chance.”

Hovering in midair, Karion raised his claws. He summoned a sphere of thunder as he aimed downward. “Storm Breaker Orb!”

He hurled the orb toward Bryson, but Bryson quickly coiled his body to form a barrier. “Infernal Barrier!”

The Storm Breaker Orb struck the barrier and exploded, resulting in shockwaves, but the barrier barely held it.

Bryson frowned as some of his scales began to fall down, causing him to stagger slightly.

Karion took advantage of the opening and dived toward him. His claws were filled with thunder energy. “Your defenses aren’t as strong as you think!”

Bryson snarled. He lashed out his tail to intercept Karion’s attack. The two collided mid-air, but Bryson didn’t stop there.

He swung his molten claws downward, aiming for Karion’s chest. Karion twisted mid-air, narrowly dodging the attack.

He then countered with a lightning-charged uppercut that connected with Bryson’s jaw and sent Bryson backward

Karion was also preparing for other attacks as his body crackled with thunder energy. “You’re persistent, but I’ll show you why you can’t win.”

Bryson only smirked despite the damage he had taken. He glanced at Karion and coiled his body for another attack. “Let’s see who falls first.”

Karion extended both his claws forward. He channeled his energy toward his claws as he unleashed his attack. “Thunder Wyvern Blast!”

From his hands, a massive thunderous wyvern formed. The wyvern surged forward toward Byrson.

But Bryson didn’t flinch. Instead, he smirked as he took out his spatial ring. “Not bad, but let me show you what real power looks like.”

Without hesitation, he reached into his spatial ring and retrieved the Red Dragon Serum.

Before Thunder Wyvern could reach him, Bryson uncorked the vial and drank its contents.

His aura flared instantly. His form began to transform further. His claws became sharper and hotter. His scales deepened in color and also grew back.

Bryson smirked as he glanced back at Karion. “Now you’ll see my true strength!”

He extended both his claws and summoned a swirling vortex of fire between his hands that began to condense into the shape of a serpentine dragon.

Bryson hurled the blazing dragon toward Karion’s Thunder Wyvern Blast as he roared. “Infernal Wyrm Blast!”

The two attacks collided mid-air, but the fiery wyrm roared as it overpowered the thunder wyvern, crushing it down before continuing its path toward Karion.

Karion was shocked to see it, but the words caught in his throat as the fiery wyrm struck him head-on.

The impact was devastating. It tore through his fused form and burned it. Karion let out a guttural cry as he was hurled backward.

He fell from the sky and crahed into the ground. Smoke and embers rose from his battered form as he struggled to move.

Bryson stood tall as he glanced at Karion. “You thought you could defeat me? This is the power of the Red Dragon Serum! I am stronger than you could ever hope to be.”

Karion gritted his teeth as he dug the scorched ground weakly to push himself up. “Damn it. That attack… was stronger than anything before.”

Bryson laughed as he stepped forward. “Struggle all you like. It won’t make a difference. This battle is already over.”

Anthony, the First Prince of the Empire, stood on the sidelines and watched the battle.

He was now frowning as he watched Karion, one of the Empire’s strongest 7-Star tamers, lay defeated.

Anthony clenched his fists as he glanced at Bryson. “I never thought… the leader of the Red Dragon Order… would be far stronger than I imagined. Even Karion couldn’t stand against him.”

He was thinking as he calculated his next move. “What do I do now? If even Karion couldn’t stop him, then…”

Before Anthony could finish his thought, Bryson turned to him and smirked. “First Prince, don’t think I’ve forgotten about you.”

Anthony tensed as Bryson began to approach him. His aura intensified with every step, making Anthony hard to breathe.

Bryson smirked as he looked down at Anthony. “I think I’ll kill you first. Your sins are already too much to overlook.”

Anthony frowned, but his body betrayed his fear. He tried to move, but the weight of Bryson’s aura pressed him down, preventing him to move.

He was then forced to kneel in one knee before him. “What is this power? His aura alone is enough to force me to kneel. How am I supposed to fight him?”

Bryson chuckled as he tilted his head. “What’s the matter, Your Highness? Is the great First Prince of the Empire too weak to stand before me?”

Anthony gritted his teeth. He tried to stand up and growled. “You won’t… kill me that easily.”

Bryson smirked as he raised his right claw. “We’ll see about that. Let’s see if your will is as strong as your arrogance.”
