Chapter 188: The Collapse of the Red Dragon Order’s Base
Liora didn’t waste any time. She leapt into the air. She already coated her body with Silver Flame, which released some hard pressure toward Anthony.
Anthony frowned as he could feel that he was being pressured and burned by Liora’s aura.
Anthony clenched his fists. “She’s stronger than I thought. I need to retreat. I can’t win this.”
But Liora wasn’t about to let him go that easily. Her stats were already amplified by her Sun Goddess Talent, making her far superior in every aspect.
Before he could attempt to flee, Liora was already in front of him and delivered a powerful kick to his stomach. “You’re not going anywhere.”
He gasped as the air was knocked out of him, but Liora wasn’t done. She clasped both hands together and struck him and slammed him to the ground.
Anthony crashed into the floor, but Liora didn’t stop. She followed through immediately, descending from above with her knee aimed at his back.
Her knee connected to his back, sending a shockwave through Anthony’s battered body.
He let out a painful groan as the force drove him deeper into the cracked ground.
Liora smirked as she grabbed Anthony by the collar with her left claw, effortlessly lifting him into the air.
She glanced at the battered Anthony. She didn’t feel happy at all but instead disdain. “You’re pathetic.”
With a flick of her wrist, she released him, letting his body hang in the air for a brief moment before she spun sharply.
Her right leg arced through the air, delivering a powerful spinning kick that sent Anthony flying.
Anthony was sent flying backward, but Liora wasn’t finished. She moved fast and appeared directly in his path before he could recover.
In her right claw, a sphere of silver flames had already formed. “You’ve wasted enough of my time, so let me show you why you should’ve stayed on the ground.”
She thrust the glowing sphere forward into his chest as she exploded it. “Silver Flame Burst!”
The burst of silver flames quickly engulfed Anthony and sent him flying backward.
His body smashed through a wall and landed near Karion. Anthony’s fused form flickered before fully defusing with his Golden Flame Wyvern.
Liora smirked as she glanced at him from afar. “As expected. He wasn’t even worth the effort.”
Karion frowned when he saw Anthony’s unconscious body. He then turned his attention to Liora. The smirk in her face infuriated him further.
Karion clenched his fist as he roared. “How dare you beat up the First Prince of the Empire!”
Liora raised her eyebrow and smirked. “How dare I? He practically begged for it. Besides, he was disgusting. Thinking he was worthy of me? The nerve.”
Karion frowned as he tightened his jaw and spat out. “Damn you, Volcaria family. You’re nothing but a family of bastards!”
Liora tilted her head as she was amused by him. “You can call us whatever you like. It doesn’t change the fact that you’re standing there, shouting, while I’m still standing here, unscathed.”
Karion immediately staggered to his feet. The his feet, his movements slow but steady.
The healing potion he had consumed earlier had done enough to restore some of his strength.
Karion glanced at Liora and muttered, “You’ll regret this.”
He looked up at the ceiling above them. With a smirk, he extended both claws. “Let’s see if you can survive this!”
He roared as he unleashed Thunder Wyvern Blast. The attack struck the ceiling with explosive force, causing the entire hall to shake violently.

Chunks of stone began to crumble and fall. The hall was also trembling under the impact.
Taking advantage of the chaos, Karion rushed toward Anthony’s unconscious body.
He moved quickly, scooping the First Prince up with ease despite his injuries.
As more debris fell around them, Karion turned back to Liora and smirked. “You’d better run, girl, or die here beneath the rubble.”
Without waiting for a response, Karion used his wings and launched himself into the air. The fallen debris provided enough cover for his escape.
Liorea didn’t spare Karion another thought as he fled with Anthony. She smirked briefly as she mocked them. “Pathetic. Running away like a coward after all that talk.”
Without hesitation, she turned and made her way toward Ragnar, who was still locked in a standoff with Bryson.
Both of them seemed to realize the hall was beginning to collapse.
Bryson looked at Ragnar and frowned as he was angry. “The Empire will pay for this! You think you can destroy us so easily? This isn’t over!”
With a growl, Bryson turned toward a hidden corner of the hall. There was a secret teleportation platform behind it.
He quickly activated the device. He began to teleport himself, but before it, he snarled. “I’ll return and when I do, the Empire will fall.”
Bryson soon vanished as his form dissolving into the glowing runes of the teleportation platform.
Ragnar watched Bryson’s departure with a smile. He stepped toward the now-active teleportation platform. “A secret escape route, huh? Clever.”
Liora approached it and turned toward Ragnar. “What do you think? Can we use it?”
Ragnar smirked. He took out a small plaque engraved with the Volcaria family crest. “There’s only one way to find out.”
He placed the plaque into a slot on the platform, and the runes shifted, glowing brighter as the device adjusted to his input.
Ragnar grinned after seeing it. “Perfect. It works. This will take us back to the estate.”
Ragnar then stepped onto the platform, followed by Liora. She smirked as she looked at the hall. “Let’s get out of here. This place is falling apart.”
Ragnar activated the teleportation platform. The runes glowed as energy enveloped them. In a flash, they disappeared, leaving the hall behind.
Karion was getting out of the place. He was carrying Anthony’s unconscious body.
He looked behind and smriked. “That should do it. They must have been buried beneath the rubble.”
But unbeknownst to him, Ragnar and Liora had already escaped using Bryson’s teleportation platform. The collapsing hall had done nothing to stop them.
As Karion turned and flew away, his failure remained unknown to him.
The Volcaria family’s strongest had not only survived but had returned to their estate, ready to prepare for whatever came next.
