Chapter 212: One Week to Dominate
Lucius sat in his lab. He was deep in thought as he processed the 6-Star materials he had absorbed.
The 6-Star materials didn’t provide enough hack points that he could use for further hacks.
Each 6-Star material provided somewhere between 800,000 to 1 million hack points.
Meanwhile, 7-Star materials were exponentially more valuable, each ranging from 800 million to 1 billion hack points.
He sighed, rubbing his temples as he checked his remaining hack points.
—
[Hack Points: 801,079,328HP]
—
Lucius exhaled and muttered to himself. “It looks like a lot but against 7-Star opponents, it’s barely enough.”
He leaned back in his chair, analyzing the situation carefully. His upcoming battle required him to hack at least millions of points at a time.
Even one adjustment could cost hundreds of millions, and with the competition only a week away, he needed to act fast.
He glanced at Loxen and Leon, the two 6-Star beasts that he would use in the competition later.
They were already powerful—each one possessing all A-Tier stats—but he knew that wasn’t enough anymore. His enemies wouldn’t be ordinary.
He needed them to be stronger and to do that, he needed to make them both have S-Tier stats.
Fortunately enough, his points were actually enough to have both of them have full S-Tier stats, as the costs were 800 million points for both of them.
But still the most important question remained. Should he hack and strengthen them now or conserve his points for later use?
Lucius only smirked and laughed after thinking that. “Why do I need to think it? I’ll just ask for more. When we win, we will also get a lot later.”
Lucius glanced back at the beasts. He sighed for a moment before smirking back. “System, hack both of them and make all of their stats become S-Tier.”

[Effect: All Stats Upgraded to S-Tier]
[Cost Required: 800,000,000 Hack Points]

Lucius watched as Loxen and Leon began to transform before his eyes. Their bodies trembled as the system began to change their bodies.
Their muscle hardened and grew bigger. Their auras surged to another level and Lucius could also sense that they were way different than before.
Lucius was satisfied with them and smirked. “They’re more than ready for the fight now.”
But as he turned back toward the pile of high-level materials before him, he could only sigh.

He needed more. Something better. Something that could give him a lot of hack points. He just hoped that he could be lucky enough to get some 7-Star materials.
As Lucius searched through the remaining materials in his lab, he suddenly found something unexpected.
He paused for a moment as he reached forward. He took them out and observed them.
One of them was the Red Dragon Reverse Scale that he had absorbed until it turned pale.
There were also other Red Dragon materials that had been beautified using his hack points.
Then, suddenly, a thought struck him. “Wait a minute. Didn’t both Red Dragon Blood Essence and the Red Dragon Heart get beautified using my hack points before…”
He then smirked as he realized it. “If they were beautified using hack points… then that means I can absorb them back and reclaim those points!”
Without hesitation, Lucius turned to the system and told it to absorb the materials.
—
[Hack Initiation: Essence and Heart Absorption]
[Targets: Red Dragon Blood Essence & Red Dragon Heart]
[Effect: Fully Absorb and Convert into Hack Points]
[Cost: None (Converted into Hack Points)]
[Status: Executing…]
—
Lucius smirked as the absorption process began. The Red Dragon Blood Essence and Red Dragon Heart, both previously beautified, now released their power directly back into his system.
Lucius smirked as he looked at the amount of hack points that he got, which was 400 million hack points.
Lucius smirked as he looked at it again. “Not a lot for my other grand plan, but it was more than enough for the battle ahead.
He stretched slightly. He was now prepared. Now, all that remained was waiting for the competition. “Let’s see if Astorius is ready for what’s coming.”
—
One week passed in the blink of an eye. Both sides had made their preparations and soon the day of the competition had arrived.
The Death Land, a vast, barren wasteland devoid of life, stretched endlessly before them.
Cracked earth and jagged cliffs stood as remnants of an ancient battlefield where countless wars had been waged.
The Empire’s forces stood on one side with their elite soldiers lined up in perfect formation.
King Astorius stood at the front as he surveyed the battlefield. Beside him was Karion, who locked his eyes onto one person—Lucius.
Standing slightly behind them was Anselm, and to his side stood a towering figure—the Sky General.
He had remained silent for the past week, preparing for this moment.
On the other side, the Volcaria forces stood firm. At the forefront stood Lucius, who was smirking as he glanced at the enemy.
To his left stood Ragnar, whose aura flared with excitement, and to his right stood Bryson, crossing his arms, waiting for the battle to start.
Behind them, the Red Dragon Order elders stood in silence. Savra stood among them as she glanced toward the empire forces.
This was no longer just about war. It was about who would rule the future of the country.
The battlefield itself had been marked with a massive circular fighting arena, drawn in the cracked earth.
The area was large enough for titanic battles but small enough to prevent excessive maneuvering. A perfect stage for a knockout tournament.
Astorius glanced at them and shouted. “Volcaria, Red Dragon Order. Today, we settle this once and for all. No armies, no schemes—just strength.”
Lucius chuckled as he glanced back at Astorius. “Good. I was getting tired of all the talking.”
Astorius’ gaze flicked toward Bryson. “Tell me, Bryson—does it feel good to be a pawn in Volcaria’s game?”
Bryson smirked. “A pawn? No, Astorius. This is a partnership. And today, we’re taking what’s ours.”
Astorius scoffed but didn’t reply. Instead, he turned to the competition grounds and gestured toward the arena.
“We will each send three fighters. One by one, we will enter. The last side standing wins.”
