Chapter 243: They Thought They Were the Predators… Until They Met Liora!
The bandit leader wasted no time at all. He leaped off his beast and merged with it.
His body expanded and his muscles thickened. His limbs were replaced by claws and fur grew on his body.
He was now a beast hybrid, half human and half beast.
His form was monstrous with his dark fur with a streak of red fur running down his back like a trail of dried blood.
His beast, Direfang, was no ordinary wolf. It was a massive black predator, with teeth so large and jagged they never fully retracted.
Unlike common wolves, Direfangs were loners, only found in the most powerful and dominant packs.
Its raw strength and constant aggression made it one of the most feared beasts in the wild and now that strength belonged to the bandit leader.
The other bandits stepped back as they were quite excited.
“Boss is getting serious! He’s fused with Direfang!”
“That woman is dead now. No one fights against Boss in this form and survives!”
The leader flexed his claws, his voice now a distorted snarl. “You should’ve run while you had the chance. But now… it’s too late.”
But instead of showing fear, Liora smirked. “So you fused? Interesting.”
She closed her eyes briefly, taking a deep breath as she began to fuse with Leon.
Silver fur began to grow from her body. Her limbs had become claws and her once-human features now resembled a majestic lion as she became a Silver Lion Beastman.
The bandits froze, staring at her transformation.
One of them whispered, “T—the hell… she can fuse too?!”
Another one stepped back. “That’s no ordinary fusion… She’s stronger than she looks!”
The leader’s snarl deepened, his claws flexing. “Doesn’t matter. Beast Fusion or not—you’ll still die.”
Liora grinned, stepping forward, her claws crackling with silver fire. “Then let’s see just how powerful you really are, Bandit Leader.”
—
The bandit leader crouched low, flexing his claw before lunging toward her with his massive black claws.
He was aiming straight for Liora’s throat, thinking of ending this, but Liora smirked.
She rushed forward even faster as she closed the distance in an instant.
Before the bandit leader could even react—
BAM!
Liora’s fist slammed into his stomach, mid-air, sending a shockwave through his entire body.
The bandit leader’s breath caught, his body jerking violently backward, skidding across the ground, his claws digging into the dirt to stop himself.
His eyes were widened in shock. Liora rolled her shoulders, fire flickering around her claws. “Too slow.”
The bandit leader gritted his teeth. “Damn it… She’s stronger than I thought!”
Leon was actually a superior beast compared to Direfang.

Liora’s natural talent was also leagues above the leader’s own.
Even if he had lived and trained in this dangerous zone for years, he was nothing in front of Liora.
She was simply built differently and Liora wasn’t done at all.
She turned her gaze toward the bandits and grinned in excitement.
She raised her claws and burned them in silver fire, walking slowly toward the bandits. “Well, since I’m here… might as well deal with the rest of you.”
The bandits stiffened. One of them stumbled backward, his face pale. “S-Shit! She’s looking at us!”
Another one gripped his weapon tighter. “Crap—she’s not even injured?! How is that possible?”
Liora ignored their panic. Instead, she simply vanished right in front of them.”She disappeared—?!”
One of the bandits barely had time to react before—
SLASH!
Liora reappeared behind him, her claws already buried deep into his chest.
His body stiffened, his eyes bulging in horror. Then—
FWOOSH!
Silver flames exploded from the wound, consuming him from the inside out.
His screams barely lasted a second before his entire form turned to ash, scattering in the hot desert wind.
The remaining bandits panicked. “Damn it! Don’t just stand there! Attack her!”
The bandits immediately summoned their beasts, creatures of all shapes and sizes appearing beside them.
Massive fanged tigers, steel-plated rhinos, and even a venomous scorpion beast with a glowing green stinger.
One of them snarled. “We’ve fought A-Rank beasts before! This bitch is just one person! We can take her!”
Liora tilted her head, smirking. “Oh? You really think numbers will help you?”
Her body flickered, and in the blink of an eye—she was gone again.”Where did she—?!”
CRACK!
Liora appeared in front of one of the bandits, her claw gripping his face.
His eyes widened in terror. “W-Wait! Please—!”
She tightened her grip.”Burn.”
A burst of silver fire erupted from her palm, engulfing the man’s head.
His screams were muffled by the flames, his body convulsing violently before collapsing into a pile of ashes.
One bandit, wide-eyed, screamed. “MONSTER! SHE’S A DAMN MONSTER!”
Liora laughed. “You say that like I’m the bad guy. You were the ones planning to kill us first.”
One of the bandits, desperate, pointed at her. “Everyone! Surround her! We attack all at once!”
Their beasts lunged forward, claws, fangs, and weapons ready to strike. But—too bad.
Liora glanced toward them and smirked. “Silver Flame Burst.”
She opened her mouth and gathered some silver flame for sending it toward the bandits.
BOOOOM!
A wave of silver fire erupted forward, sweeping across everything in front of them.
The bandits screamed as the flames engulfed them and their beasts alike.
Some of them tried to run, but the moment the fire touched them, their flesh ignited.
Their bodies crumbled into burning cinders, one by one, until nothing remained.
The battle was over.
Liora flicked her wrist, shaking off the remaining embers on her claws.
She turned toward the last remaining enemy, the bandit leader, who was now shocked.
His entire bandit group was gone. They were wiped out in mere minutes.
The once-powerful hunters of the A-Rank Beast Zone had become nothing more than ashes scattered by the desert wind.
And standing before him, the cause of it all was this unknown woman, Liora.
She tilted her head slightly, smirking as she pointed her claw toward him. “Your turn.”
The bandit leader gritted his teeth, his claws tightening into fists. “You… you bitch…I’m going to kill you!”
