Chapter 285: The Luxoria Pet Shop is Built
Liora stared down at the defeated wolf. She placed her foot on its back, asserting dominance. “Stay down.”
The wolf let out a low growl but didn’t resist, its body too weak to fight any longer.
Satisfied, Liora connected to Lucius through their bond.
“Master, I’ve caught a beast that seems to be at the peak of S-Rank or maybe early SS-Rank.”
Lucius was pretty surprised hearing that, smirking.
“Good. Just touch it and teleport here. I’m sure it’ll be pulled along with you.”
Liora nodded, but then she glanced at the pile of beast materials scattered around her from the hunt.
“Master, what about the materials I’ve collected? Should I just absorb them?”
Lucius chuckled. “Yeah, just look at them and say ‘absorb.’ They’ll be broken down automatically and became my energy.”
Liora smirked. “Simple enough.”
She turned toward the piles of rare materials—beast cores, fangs, hides, and elemental essences from A-Rank and S-Rank creatures.
“Absorb.”
At her command, the materials disintegrated into shimmering light, their essence flowing into her body, before being transferred directly to Lucius’s system.
Liora tilted her head slightly, amused. “Pretty easy.”
She then turned back to the wolf, who was still staring up at her cautiously.
“Alright, time to go. It’s time for you to meet my Master.”
She placed her hand on the wolf’s back, activating the teleportation ability.
—
Lucius sat back, smirking as he watched the influx of Hack Points flood into his system.
“Liora did well.”
He glanced at the numbers, satisfied.
The SS-Rank beast would be a fine addition to the shop, but more importantly—
“These strong beasts are giving me a ridiculous amount of Hack Points.”
Soon, Liora appeared in front of Lucius with a massive black and crimson-furred wolf beside her.
The beast’s muscular frame trembled slightly, still recovering from their earlier battle, but its glowing red eyes burned with resistance.
Lucius leaned back, smirking as he examined the creature.
Liora crossed her arms. “Master, this is the beast I brought.”
Lucius nodded approvingly, his eyes gleaming with amusement. “Good. It looks strong and fierce.”
The wolf immediately snapped its gaze toward Lucius, its fur bristling, letting out a low, menacing growl.
To the beast, Lucius wasn’t a threat. He was weak.

But before it could even think about doing anything—
THUD!
Liora stomped down on its back, forcing its massive body to the ground.
“Stay down!”
Liora pressed her claw against its neck. “This is my Master. You will not act without permission.”
The wolf whimpered, its ears flattening as it submitted immediately.
Lucius chuckled, watching the exchange with interest. “I see… so you’ve already disciplined it.”
Liora nodded, flicking her wrist. “A few smacks were enough to get the point across.”
Lucius grinned. “That’s how it should be. Now… let’s see what we’re dealing with.”
He activated his system, scanning the Vorafang for its full details.
—
[Species: Vorafang]

—
Lucius’s smirk widened. “Wow… it’s quite good.”
He glanced at Liora. “An early SS-rank beast. You’ve outdone yourself.”
Liora grinned, tilting her head proudly. “Of course, Master. I only bring the best.”
Lucius chuckled but didn’t take his eyes off the wolf. “Still… it has a weakness.”
Liora raised her eyebrow. “What do you mean?”
Lucius gestured toward the beast. “Its strength is incredible, but its body is weak.”
He tapped his fingers against his arm in thought. “However, despite its weak body, its stamina is insane. That makes it a perfect hunting beast—it never stops tracking its prey.”
Liora nodded slowly. “That’s true. Even when I fought it, it didn’t stop coming after me. It was relentless.”
Lucius grinned. “You did well, Liora. This beast is valuable.”
Liora smirked, bowing slightly. “Thank you, Master.”
Lucius then crouched down slightly, looking the Vorafang directly in the eyes.
“Now… what kind of hack should I give you, huh?”
The wolf didn’t understand his words, but it felt something shift in the air.
Lucius’s smirk widened. The beast instinctively growled, feeling an uneasy pressure settle over it.
It didn’t know what was about to happen but one thing was clear. Its life would be changed forever.
—
On the other side, Luna and Loreia stood in front of the newly constructed pet shop, their eyes wide in amazement.
The structure was massive, far more impressive than even the Beast Castle, one of the largest beast shops in the region.
Everything about it radiated prestige.
Whether it was the detailed exterior or the adaptive design meant to accommodate the strongest of beasts, it was the best.
Luna grinned, placing her hands on her hips. “Liline, you really outdid yourself.”
She whistled as she looked around. “This is even better than I imagined.”
Liline stood proudly beside them, adjusting her silver-black coat. “Of course, Big Sister.”
She smiled, tilting her chin slightly. “I am the best at this, after all.”
Loreia, who was still analyzing the sheer size of the structure, finally spoke. “Alright, we have the building.”
She crossed her arms. “But we don’t have the beasts.”
Luna snapped her fingers. “Oh, right! We still need the inventory.”
She turned to Liline. “We should check with Master.”
Loreia nodded. “Yeah, let’s ask him if it’s ready.”
Without hesitation, Luna activated her connection with Lucius.
“Master, the shop is finished. Should we start receiving the beasts now?”
Lucius immediately replied to them. “Not yet. The beasts aren’t ready. I’ll send them to you later.”
Luna pouted. “Aww, Master, don’t keep us waiting too long. We need to open soon.”
Lucius chuckled. “I’ll make sure they’re worth the wait.”
Loreia sighed. “Well, at least we have time to prepare before they arrive.”
Luna grinned. “Yeah, let’s use this time to perfect the business strategy.”
Liline smiled, already running calculations in her mind. “Understood. By the time the beasts arrive, everything will be set for an elite grand opening.”
The Luxoria Pet Shop was now complete.
All that remained…
Was to stock it with the finest beasts in the world.
