Chapter 343: The End of The Auction
Sylvia walked up to the front.
She didn’t wait for anyone to address her.
She simply took out some case filled with the beast cores and gave it to Liline.
“Three Vornis. 300 S-Rank Beast Cores.”
Liline nodded.
“Yes. Confirmed.”
Sylvia crossed her arms. “Just give me the boxes. I want the individual cultivation manuals for each. No contracts.”
Liline raised her eyebrow.
“You do not wish to tame them, Lady Sylvia?”
Sylvia’s eyes narrowed.
“Not yet. I’ll have someone else handle it. Just the manuals and containment.”
Liline tilted her head slightly, then nodded.
“As you wish. Please wait a moment.”
She gave a small wave of her hand.
Three spectral staff members appeared, each one holding a cultivation manual.
They also brought three boxes that had been filled with Vornis.
Liline gestured smoothly. “These are the requested items:”
“Three silver boxes with Vornis inside and three unique Beast King Cultivation Manuals—one for each Vornis.”
Sylvia grabbed them quickly without another word.
Liline watched her for a moment. “Lady Sylvia. If you do wish to contract them in the future, please return to Luxoria Castle.”
“Our taming and contract assistance services remain available.”
Sylvia stopped only for a second.
She didn’t turn back. Didn’t say a word.
Just nodded once, sharply, before walking off, her grip tight on the manuals and containment boxes.
It was clear to everyone. She wasn’t in the mood to speak after losing both bids.
—
Liline rose gently into the air, hovering above the central platform once more.
“Esteemed guests of Luxoria Castle…”
She spread her arms.
“This concludes today’s auction.”

A wave of murmurs passed through the crowd.
some filled with awe, others still calculating the sheer value of what had just been witnessed.
Liline continued, smiling warmly now.
“For those worried about their return—please be at ease.”
She turned toward the massive screen behind her.
A map of the Mist Forest flickered into view, and a clear path began to appear.
“As promised, those who passed the trial will not need to face it again.”
“The forest will now reveal a safe path back to your territory.”
“You may leave freely—no trial, no guardians. You’ve earned it.”
—
A small cheer broke out. The pressure of the day had lifted.
A few tamers exchanged glances, others clapped softly.
One or two looked toward the cages still on stage—perhaps dreaming of the next auction.
Liline gave one final bow.
“Thank you for surviving, bidding, and witnessing the power of Luxoria Castle.”
She floated down slowly.
“And may your paths be filled with strength.”
—
Raiven went and burst through the front doors of Valefor Mansion’s main hall.
He didn’t even slow his pace. “Father!”
Vandred Valefor sat near the end, sipping a dark roast coffee from a steel mug.
His frame was massive, arms folded.
He looked up. “What the hell’s got you grinning like a fool?”
Raiven stopped in front of him, practically buzzing with pride.
“I’ve bought another SS-Rank beast.”
Vandred’s mug froze halfway to his lips.
“Another one? Beast Castle’s pushing another batch this fast?”
Raiven smirked and shook his head.
“Not from them. This came from another source—Luxoria Castle.”
Vandred squinted. “Luxoria… Castle?”
Raiven nodded. “Yeah. The one that humiliated Beast Castle at the last auction. I went to their next event.”
Vandred leaned forward slightly, eyes narrowing.
“And what the hell did you pay?”
Raiven scratched his head. “About sixty… maybe sixty-five SS-Rank beast cores.”
PFFFFT— Vandred spit his coffee across the floor. “YOU DID WHAT?!”
He slammed the mug down. “You paid five times the price of Titanhoof? Are you insane?!”
Raiven raised a hand. “Wait, wait—listen. They included everything.”
Raiven flexed his fingers and told him one by one.
“Taming. Cultivation manual. Full contract. It’s a Sovereign-tier SS-Rank.”
Vandred’s brows lifted slightly.
“You mean to tell me… it’s already fully bonded?”
Raiven nodded confidently. “Bound and trained. Cultivation manual already fused and compatible.”
Vandred stood up fast—towering, cracking his knuckles with a wide grin.
“That’s all I needed to hear.”
He pointed directly at Raiven. “You and me. Arena. Now.”
Raiven’s eyes lit up. “Thought you’d never ask.”
Vandred stomped past him, barking orders to a butler.
“Clear the floor! Open the damn roof! We’re testing this new beast right now!”
Raiven followed, laughing. “Let’s see if your old bones can keep up.”
Vandred looked back with a dangerous smirk.
“If this thing you bought is really worth sixty cores, it better hit harder than Titanhoof… or I’ll beat it with my fists.”
Raiven grinned wider. “Oh, you’ll see, Father.”
—
Eryndor stepped out from the shadows near the arena wall. “Why are we here?”
Caelan stood beside him, arms crossed, gaze locked on the center ring. “Father’s fighting Raiven.”
Eryndor’s tone didn’t change. “Training match?”
“No,” Caelan said.
“Raiven bought a new SS-Rank beast. Claimed it’s stronger than Titanhoof.”
Eryndor tilted his head slightly. “From Beast Castle?”
Caelan shook his head. “No. Luxoria Castle.”
Eryndor was silent for a moment. “…So that’s the place.”
Caelan sighed as he continued.
“Yeah. Sixty SS-Rank beast cores. When Father heard the number, he laughed. Thought it was a joke.”
Eryndor stayed still. “And when he found out it wasn’t?”
Caelan’s tone darkened.
“He nearly flipped the war table. If Raiven had that much to throw away, he better prove it in battle.”
Eryndor turned his head slightly.
“Where’d Raiven even get that kind of money?”
Caelan shrugged. “Most of it came from Father.”
“After he bought Titanhoof, Father rewarded him with more cores.”
“Combine that with what Raiven had saved from a few years back—well—he should have enough.”
Eryndor’s eyes narrowed. “So he used Father’s own reward… to buy a beast from another pet shop?”
Caelan gave a short nod. “Exactly.”
Eryndor didn’t speak for a while. Then, “What kind of beast?”
Caelan’s voice lowered. “I don’t know about the beast at all, but he said something interesting.”
“Raiven says that they gave him the full manual and a tamer service too.”
Eryndor’s tone barely shifted. “He got that too? Is that for real?”
Caelan nodded once. “Yeah, but I don’t know if it’s real or not.”
“We can know it later when we see the fight later on.”
They both turned their eyes back to the field, where their father, Vandred, was now stepping onto the arena platform.
Caelan exhaled through his nose. “Still. No matter what beast Raiven’s got… Father won’t be pulling any punches.”
Eryndor didn’t move. “Then we’ll see if Raiven bought a throne…”
“…or his own funeral.”
