Chapter 345: The Monster Raiven Bought
Raiven’s smirk widened.
“It’s done waiting.”
Dreadmaw’s obsidian plating flared. Flames erupted from its spine. Its body glowed brighter, fiercer.
“Now you’ll see what it really means to fight a Sovereign of Flame.”
Elemental Overlord.
Dreadmaw’s veins blazed, every limb radiating volatile energy as the beast reared back and stomped the ground.
BOOOM!
A massive blast pulsed from beneath it—Volcanic Pulse!
Shockwaves of molten energy exploded outward in all directions.
“Move, Gravemaw!” Vandred barked.
But it was too late.
The explosion launched Gravemaw backward, flipping the steel-plated bear through the air and smashing it into the arena wall.
The impact cracked the reinforced stone barrier and buried the beast in smoke and rubble.
Caelan stepped forward, stunned. “He… blew Gravemaw off its feet?”
Eryndor said nothing—but his narrowed eyes said enough.
Vandred leaned over the railing, eyes blazing. “Get up. You’re not done.”
But even as the dust settled… Gravemaw didn’t rise.
The berserk glow faded. Its armor was scorched black, chunks of steel melted, and its breathing grew shallow.
The massive bear groaned, but it didn’t move.
Raiven raised his hand. “That’s enough.”
Dreadmaw, still glowing like a living volcano, stepped back slowly and let out a deep, victorious snort.
The fire died down.
Raiven turned to his father. “Do you still doubt me, Father?”
Vandred’s fists clenched at his sides, jaw tight.
Then he let out a sharp breath and grinned.
“…No. I don’t.”
“That was a damn fine beast, son.”
Raiven’s expression softened slightly.
Caelan folded his arms. “You’ve definitely gotten stronger. That thing… is a monster.”
Eryndor simply nodded. “Approved.”

Raiven looked at them both. “I told you. I didn’t just buy power. I bought a monster.”
Vandred stepped toward him and slammed a hand on his shoulder.
“Not only that… they helped you tame it. And more importantly—gave you the Beast King cultivation art tied to that thing.”
Raiven smirked. “Hehe. Of course. That’s the real core of it all. But still… I never thought Luxoria Castle was this good.”
Vandred gave a grunt, half in approval, half in disbelief.
“They’re efficient, I’ll give them that. Taming service, contract, cultivation art—all without you lifting a damn finger.”
Raiven grinned. “Exactly. But, Father…”
He tilted his head toward the four armored beasts still standing in formation behind him.
“I haven’t even used the Vornis yet.”
Vandred looked at them and narrowed his eyes.
“Don’t waste those in duels. Use them when you hunt.”
Raiven gave a small nod. “That’s the plan. Dreadmaw was just for showing off.”
Vandred barked a short laugh. “Well… you showed off fine.”
Caelan finally smiled a little. “Better not fall behind, Raiven.”
Eryndor turned slightly. “Don’t lose that edge. Or we’ll remind you who the older brothers are.”
Raiven laughed. “Anytime.”
Vandred folded his arms, then glanced toward Caelan.
“By the way… have you tamed Titanhoof yet, Caelan?”
Caelan’s expression tensed slightly. “…No, Father.”
“It’s too unruly. Doesn’t want to be tamed by me.”
Vandred frowned deeply.
“Hmph. That thing’s powerful, but prideful. I thought you’d have forced it into line by now.”
Raiven leaned forward a bit with a small grin.
“Why don’t you go to Luxoria Castle instead?”
Vandred and Caelan both looked at him.
“They helped me tame Dreadmaw like it was nothing. They even gave me a tailored cultivation manual for it.”
Caelan raised a brow. “… Is it the genuine one?”
Raiven nodded. “Yes. The optimized one. I didn’t even feel the contract process. Just like that—done.”
Caelan’s expression shifted into something more intrigued.
“…Interesting. I see. Then we go tomorrow.”
Raiven raised a hand. “Actually, maybe hold off for now.”
Caelan narrowed his eyes. “Why?”
Raiven smirked.
“Because there’s a battle coming between Beast Castle and Luxoria Castle soon. It’s official—already announced.”
He folded his arms with satisfaction.
“A one-on-one beast match. Winner gets to call themselves the top beast supplier.”
Eryndor glanced up. “They’re settling it publicly?”
Raiven nodded. “In front of everyone. And knowing Lord L, he’s going to make it a spectacle.”
Caelan leaned back slightly, a flicker of interest in his eyes.
“A direct clash between their best beasts… That might actually be worth watching.”
Raiven added, “They’re not just selling beasts anymore—they’re proving which castle builds the strongest.”
Vandred let out a short laugh. “Hah! Finally, something worthy of my time.”
He cracked his knuckles.
“Let’s see which shop truly knows how to forge war machines.”
Eryndor tilted his head.
“I’m curious which beast they’ll use. If Dreadmaw was just one of them…”
Caelan looked at Raiven. “Any idea what they’re planning to unleash?”
Raiven rolled his shoulders.
“All I know is… Lord L doesn’t show his cards early. But whatever it is, it’ll be brutal.”
Vandred grinned. “Good. Let them show us. I want to see if this Luxoria Castle really lives up to the name.”

Elaris was running through the narrowing forest path.
Vines responded to her urgency, retracting as she passed.
Time was burning.
The silver containment box holding Zephyron would only last twenty-four hours.
The great trees opened to reveal the living estate, grown from a blend of ancient wood and beast flora.
At the center stood Sylvaine Myralis, her eyes flicked sideways.
“Elaris?” Her voice cut through the clearing.
“Why are you back so soon?”
Elaris walked straight toward her, barely slowing. “I need containment vines now.”
Sylvaine raised her hand, signaling the others to stop.
Her gaze sharpened. “What happened?”
“I bought something.”
“You bought something?” Sylvaine narrowed her eyes.
“You look like you ran through a wildfire. What did you buy that requires emergency support?”
Elaris smirked and pulled the silver cube from her pouch.
“I bought an SS-Rank Beast.”
Silence hit the grove. Even the trees stilled.
Sylvaine stepped forward, her expression unreadable. “Repeat that.”
“I bought a Sovereign,” Elaris said, holding up the box.
“SS-Rank. Wind and thunder element. It’s in here, for now.”
Sylvaine’s fingers curled slightly at her side.
“You—what possessed you to—Elaris, do you even understand what you’ve brought into my forest?”
