Chapter 376: Fiona Is Losing to Rocks
Loreia smirked beneath the mask.
“So, Patriarch Vandred.”
“You want your son Caelan to be contracted with the SS-Rank Sovereign Beast.”
She looked at Raiven for a moment.
“And you want to transfer three Vornis units from Raiven.”
“One to you, one to Caelan, and one to Eryndor. Correct?”
Vandred nodded.
“Yeah. That’s all we need.”
Loreia nodded back.
“Alright. Do you want special cultivation manuals for each Vornis as well?”
Vandred raised an eyebrow.
“You can do that too?”
Loreia answered right away.
“Yes. We make manuals customized for each person’s beast.”
Vandred gave a short grunt.
“Then yes. We’ll take them.”
Loreia started listing the numbers.
“Breaking and rebinding one Vornis costs 20 S-Rank beast cores.”
“You’re doing three, so that’s 60 cores.”
“The custom cultivation manuals cost 10 cores per Vornis.”
“Three manuals equals 30 cores.”
“That’s 90 S-Rank cores total.”
Loreia turned slightly toward Caelan.
“And for you, Caelan.”
“Do you also want a cultivation technique for your beast?”
Caelan raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised.
“You can provide that? Even for a beast, you didn’t sell?”
Loreia smirked under the mask.
“Of course we can.”
“We offer custom cultivation techniques for any beast.”

“Whether it was sold by us or not.”
She looked at him calmly.
“Our method works on everything, as long as it’s a beast.”
Caelan gave a small nod and smirked.
“Alright, then. Yes. I want it.”
Loreia continued with the numbers.
“The contract binding process for an SS-Rank Sovereign beast costs 10 SS-Rank beast cores.”
“The custom cultivation technique also costs 10.”
“So for your request, the total is 20 SS-Rank beast cores.”
Vandred gave a short, approving grunt.
He reached into his spatial ring and pulled out two crystal cases.
“Ninety S-Rank beast cores,” he said, handing over the first case.
“And twenty SS-Rank beast cores,” he added, offering the second.
“Here’s the full payment.”
Loreia accepted them with a respectful nod.
“Thank you. Everything will be prepared shortly.”
She turned her head slightly.
“Liline, please escort Patriarch Vandred to VIP Hall Number One?”
Liline appeared beside the wall, calm as ever.
“Understood.”
She raised one hand.
A new hallway opened.
“This way, please.”
Vandred didn’t say a word.
He gave a nod to his sons, then followed Liline through the hall without hesitation.
The deal was now in motion.
—
Loreia connected to Lucius through their link in her mind.
“Lucius. I already sent Liline to tell you what to hack. Start now.”
Lucius responded instantly.
“Yeah, yeah. I saw them enter VIP Room One.”
Loreia gave a slight nod, still facing the arena.
“Good. Be careful. Stay hidden.”
“No one should realize you’re using the system directly.”
Lucius’s tone was casual but sharp.
“Don’t worry, sis. I’ve spent my whole life hiding this. You think I’d mess up now?”
Loreia’s eyes narrowed slightly behind the mask.
“I’m just reminding you.”
Lucius chuckled faintly in her head.
“Relax. I’m ten steps ahead, as always.”
Loreia didn’t reply, but her expression relaxed just slightly.
“Good.”
She cut the link and turned her attention toward the Myralis family.
“What can I do for you today, Lady Sylvaine?”
Sylvaine gave a polite smile.
“For now, I’d like to process two Vornis rebondings.”
She glanced toward her daughters.
“One for me, and one for Velmara.”
Loreia nodded.
“Understood. With cultivation manuals included?”
Sylvaine responded without hesitation.
“Yes. I want both of them fully optimized.”
Loreia calculated the price quickly.
“Then the cost would be sixty S-Rank beast cores.”
“Twenty per Vornis for bond break and rebinding, and ten per unit for cultivation manuals.”
“Are there any other services you’d like today?”
Sylvaine shook her head lightly.
“Not at the moment. We’re simply observing.”
“This visit is for evaluation.”
She glanced toward the arena.
“You’ve made an impression, I’ll say that much.”
Loreia allowed herself a slight smile.
“Thank you. That’s what Luxoria Castle was built for.”
She turned slightly.
“Liline.
“Please escort Matriarch Sylvaine and her daughters to VIP Room Number Two.”
Liline materialized instantly, giving a slight bow.
“Right this way, honored guests.”
A hallway shimmered open beside the arena.
Sylvaine looked at Loreia one last time.
“We’ll speak again, soon.”
Loreia nodded.
“Looking forward to it.”
The Myralis family walked through the hall, calm and poised.
Business was proceeding perfectly.
—
In the middle of the battlefield.
Fiona Flares darted between broken ruins and fallen trees.
She skidded around a scorched boulder.
Dove into a patch of tall mistgrass, face flushed.
“Damn it!” she hissed, panting.
“Where the hell are those tokens!?”
Her drone hovered beside her, still live and streaming.

Up above, floating calmly in the air, was Liline.
Her hands were clasped neatly behind her back.
Her eyes scanned the field below with perfect clarity.
“Five Vornis tokens have already been claimed.”
“Fifteen remain.”
The moment her voice reached the field.
Several tamers cursed and picked up speed.
Fiona flopped onto her back for a second.
“Five gone already!? Dammit—I thought I was early!”
She jumped to her feet and brushed off her jacket.
“Okay, chat, this is it. I am not leaving without a Vornis!”

—
Fiona sprinted toward the far right flank of the battlefield.
“Alright, Luxoria Castle…”
She ducked under a crumbling tree root.
“Show me where you’re hiding the damn things!”
Suddenly, a burst of air and light struck her from the left.
Boom!
“What—?!”
She was thrown off her feet and slammed hard into a broken wall.
Her drone spun wildly before stabilizing midair.
She groaned, rolling onto her side.
“Ugh… damn it—cheap shot!”
She looked across the field and spotted a tamer vanishing into mist.
“Coward.”
As she pushed off the ground, her hand brushed against something.
It was solid, flat, and unnaturally smooth.
She froze.
“Could it be…”
