Brutaurus let out a thunderous roar.

Its horns glowed with deep-sea pressure energy.

It then slammed its fists into the flooded ground.

“Duelist’s Claim.”

A glowing sigil marked Inferon, pulsing with energy.

All other targets were ignored.

Then came the second move.

“Hydrocage Arena.”

Pillars of spiraling water erupted from the ground.

They encircled Inferon in a dome of rotating aquatic pressure.

The water spun like drills—forming a closed battleground.

Fiona hovered outside the cage, eyes wide.

“It just sealed off the arena! That’s—”

Liora cut her off.

“Don’t panic. Brutaurus follows ritual combat law.”

She looked over at Fiona.

“It only fights one-on-one while the Duelist’s Claim is active.”

“As long as Inferon holds out—you won’t be touched.”

Fiona let out a long breath.

“Okay. Okay. That helps.”

Without waiting another second.

Liora shot toward the water cage with her jetpack.

She then landed just inside with Inferon.

Fiona stayed hovering, still on edge.

“Alright partner—let’s give the world a show.”

She tapped her visor.

“Fionyx, deploy full stream drones. All coverage angles.”

A moment later, multiple sleek orange-red drones launched from her hoverpack.

They zipped into position like a formation squadron.

Some high above, others skimming the water surface.

And a few diving through narrow gaps between the hydropillars.

Her interface synced instantly.

“Streaming now.”

She zoomed one camera on Inferon.

“On your left, standing over seven meters tall, the flame beast himself.”

“Inferon, The Blazing King.”

Another drone panned across Brutaurus.

“And on your right, the walking tsunami.”

“The Abyss-Horned Juggernaut, Brutaurus!”

Inferon stood its ground and lowered its body slightly.

When Brutaurus struck, the impact echoed across the ruins.

The two Sovereigns locked horns and claws.

Steam hissed from their collision point.

Fiona’s eyes sparkled behind the visor.

Liora stood on a nearby slab inside the arena.

She said nothing. Just watching.

Fiona noticed.

“And there’s Liora, calm as ever. No orders. No interference.”

“She’s letting Inferon think—not just fight.”

Inferon landed hard from his last pounce, steam hissing beneath his paws.

But Brutaurus didn’t give him a second to breathe.

With a roar, the giant minotaur rushed forward again.

But the Trenchbreaker Charge landed square in his chest.

The impact threw the lion-beast across the cage.

Inferon slammed into a stone pillar with a crash.

Fiona flinched.

Inferon tried to stand quickly, but water surged beneath him.

Brutaurus raised both fists and slammed them into the ground.

A geyser of pressurized water shot upward and knocked Inferon off his feet again.

He landed hard, steam hissing from his mane as it flickered dimly.
