Chapter 39: Kaelix Kryndal
Luna and Liora were now working hard to clean the luxurious residence for Lucius. They began to gather all the scattered clothes and beast tools into one big heap.

They immediately went outside to throw it out. They threw the heap into a nearby trash area, but suddenly, a loud noise surprised them a bit: “What the hell do you think you’re doing in my residence?”

Luna and Liora turned around to see where the voice came from and soon saw a tall man running toward them and he was not happy at all as he glared toward Luna and Liora.

Luna coldly met his gaze and replied, “Your residence? You are mistaken, as this residence is no longer yours but ours.”

The man was Kaelix Kryndal, the Rank 1 Evolist of the Golden Class. He then pointed at his belongings that were thrown out. “To think that you really dare to throw out my belongings. What makes you so daring?”

Luna crossed her arms as she replied, “Of course we dare, as this residence is now our master’s. Your belongings are ruining the place so we are kind enough to get rid of them for you.”

Kaelix could not believe what they just said. “Nonsense! I am Kaelix Kryndal! The Rank 1 Evolist of the Golden Class!”

Kaelix then pointed at the residence, “House Number One has been my residence since the moment I arrived at Astra Academy. Who dares take it from me?”

Luna only smirked as she began to mock him. “If that’s the case, then prove it. Scan your ID card at the monument by the gate. Let’s see if what you said is the truth.”

Kaelix immediately ran toward the gate of the residence and took out his ID card. He then put it down to let the small monument scan it but after scanning it, the gate was not unlocked at all.

Kaelix, who saw this, became shocked. “How… how can this be possible? I am the one who should be living in this residence.”

Luna stepped closer and looked toward Kaelix from the other side of the gate. She then coldly said. “It’s simple. This is no longer your house. It belongs to our master now, so you better leave or else!”

Kaelix, who looked at her gaze, immediately became angry. “This is a mistake! There’s no way someone could simply take my residence. I’ll have this corrected immediately!”

Luna just kept her cool and said, “I have said that this is not your residence anymore. We are also kind enough to leave your belongings intact. Collect them and go. This is your only warning.”

Kaelix, who heard what Luna said, could only frown as he went to collect his discarded belongings by packing them into his spatial ring.

He then left the residence but before he left, he glanced at both girls for one last time. “This isn’t over. I’ll find out who’s behind this, and they’ll pay dearly for crossing me.”

Luna didn’t respond and kept glaring at Kaelix until he disappeared from her sight. She then turned to Lucius and snorted, “Pathetic! He’s all bluff and arrogance but powerless to do anything about it.”

Liora nodded, agreeing with what Luna had said about the man. “It’s quite amusing to see him trying to intimidate us. He should’ve known better.”

They soon returned to the house to continue their unfinished work. They also used this chance to tell Lucius about Kaelix, the previous occupant who was stupid and arrogant.

Lucius, who was the new residence owner, was now drinking some black tea to calm his mind down. But suddenly, Liora and Luna entered his room to report something to him.

Luna kneeled down and began to report something to Lucius. “Master, the previous occupant of this residence confronted us while we were disposing of his belongings.”

Luna also told Lucius about his identity. “He also called himself Kaelix Kryndal. The Rank 1 Evolist of the Golden Class.”

Lucius was a bit surprised hearing it and said. “I see, Kaelix Kryndal, huh? How… interesting. What was his reaction when he found both of you throwing out his belongings?”

Liora was then the one who told Lucius in detail about it. “He was furious, Master. He shouted and raged, claiming this was his residence. But when he tried to scan his ID card at the gate monument, it was rejected.”

Lucius laughed after hearing it. “Rejection? It must be a very humiliating moment for him. So, what did he do next after that?”

Luna only smirked when she explained it. “He threatened us, master but too bad that it was all empty words. He could not even enter the house so how can he threaten us?”

Liora also smirked as she remembered it again. “So he could only gather his belongings and scram. He also seems to be headed to the administration office to raise a complaint.”

Lucius only smirked as he drank his tea as he mocked Kaelix, “As expected from someone who was arrogant because of his rank. To think that he went to the administration office to whine like a child.”

Liora then kneeled down in front of Lucius, raising her claws. “So, shall I deal with him, Master? A quick reminder of his place could spare us further interruptions.”

Lucius smirked but soon shook his head as he warned Liora. “No, Liora. This is the Astra academy and we cannot kill him so just let him be.”

Luna was a bit surprised hearing it. “Then what should we do, Master? Shall we prepare for his return?”

Lucius thought for a moment and said. “We will wait. Let him do what he wants. I also want to see what he can do as the Rank 1 Evolist of Golden Class.”

Both Luna and Liora kneeled in front of him after they heard what their master had said. Lucius also wants to see what a Rank 1 Evolist of Golden Class could do to him.
