Chapter 460: That’s CEO Mecha Boy
In a quiet corridor behind the Luxoria arena, the masked man followed silently behind Liline.
She led him through a side door and down a narrow hall.
Finally, they stopped in front of a polished metal door.
Liline turned, offering a graceful nod. “He’s waiting inside.”
The masked man nodded once. “Thank you.”
He stepped in.
Inside the room was calm and bright.
At the far end sat Lucius Luxoria, one leg crossed, a teacup in hand.
He gave a small smile.
“Please, sit down.”
The masked man approached the seat across from him and gave a respectful nod.
“Thank you, Lord L.”
Lucius set down his cup.
“Congratulations on winning the Vornis Beauty Competition, Masked Man.”
The masked man gave another short nod. “Thank you. It was an honor.”
Lucius chuckled lightly. “Or should I say… Donnie Aldren.”
The masked man blinked, clearly caught off guard.
“It seems I cannot hide anything here,” he said slowly.
Then, with a sigh, he reached up and pulled off the mask.
He revealed his face fully. “Yes. It’s me.”
Lucius leaned slightly forward, eyes amused.
“How are you doing, Donnie?”
Donnie gave a calm smile.
“Quite good, actually. Better than expected.”
“Also, as of last week… I’ve become the new CEO of Beast Castle.”
Lucius raised a brow, setting his cup down with a soft clink.
“Isn’t Varen Aldren still the CEO?”
Donnie’s expression remained smooth, but the amusement in his eyes showed.
“Not anymore. Thanks to you, Lord L.”
Lucius tilted his head slightly.

“My father was very displeased with how Varen handled things with you.”
“The way he lost face and destroyed Beast Castle’s reputation,” Donnie continued.
“The auction loss, the public defeat… it all added up.”
He folded his hands together on the table.
“So now, Varen has been moved to a… quieter position.”
“While I, the second son, was placed at the top. Effective immediately.”
Lucius smiled faintly. “So, a power shift.”
Donnie nodded. “Exactly.”
“And I came here not only to compete but to offer my thanks.”
He looked up at Lucius, voice steady.
“Thanks to your influence and presence, Beast Castle has changed. For the better.”
Lucius didn’t answer right away.
He simply watched him, reading the weight behind the words.
Donnie continued. “Beast Castle will not oppose Luxoria again.”
“Not openly, not secretly. Not under me.”
He bowed his head slightly. “That’s a promise.”
Lucius finally smiled again, softer this time. “Good.”
There was a moment of silence.
Then Lucius stood, walking slowly toward the wall panel.
The surface lit up with a soft hum as his hand touched it.
The screen changed, showing a rotating image of the Elemental Knight Vornis.
The massive fusion beast Donnie had used in the beauty competition.
Lucius folded his arms and stared at the image for a while.
Then he spoke.
“Your custom Vornis,” he said, his voice calm but impressed.
“Very well-crafted. Did you design all five yourself?”
Donnie nodded from where he stood.
“Yes,” he said.
“First, I had five normal Vornis.”
“I used rare ores to turn each into a beast of a different element.”
He stepped forward, looking at the screen beside Lucius.
“Then I studied your Vornis modification guide, the one from the auction system.”
Lucius glanced sideways, eyes narrowing slightly.
“So you used Luxoria’s mod blueprints.”
Donnie smiled a little.
“They’re public after the auction. It’s just not easy to understand.”
“But I kept studying it. And the more I tried, the more I saw how flexible your system is.”
“Vornis beasts are smart. They adapted fast. It made the fusion easier.”
Lucius didn’t interrupt. He let the younger man talk.
Donnie took a breath.
“I always liked Elemental Knights as a kid.”
“You know, those old shows where five robots combine into one giant warrior.”
He looked at Lucius, almost sheepish.
“So… I wanted to make one of my own.”
He pointed at the screen.
“That’s the result. Five Vornis. Each with a synced elemental type.”
“Each with locking joints and modular limbs.”
“And when combined… it creates the Elemental Knight Vornis.”
“With full cockpit function.”
Lucius blinked. “Wait. Cockpit?”
Donnie chuckled. “Yes. It’s inside the chest.”
“A real one. I sit inside it during battle mode.”
“It’s fully shielded, has command panels, and even has a viewfinder system built in.”
Lucius raised his eyebrows, clearly surprised now. “You’re serious.”
Donnie nodded proudly. “Completely.”
“I even ran the simulation dozens of times.”
“The beast adjusts based on terrain. In forest mode, the plant-based Vornis takes the lead.”
“In battlefields, metal and fire take the front. Water supports defense systems.”
Lucius stepped back slightly, looking at the screen again.
“To think… you really liked a kids’ show that much,” he said, lips curving.
Donnie laughed. “I did. Still do, honestly.”
“Those shows made me dream big.”
“Now, I used those dreams in real beast taming.”
Lucius looked thoughtful. “And you’re saying…”
“The five Vornis willingly allowed themselves to be modded this way?”
Donnie nodded. “Yes. I didn’t force it.”
“I bonded with each. Then I explained my vision. I think they liked the idea.”
“Because once I fused them the first time… they synced almost instantly.”
“Like they were waiting for it.”
Lucius said nothing at first. He just stared at the display.
Then he gave a small nod.
“You’ve taken the concept of taming,” he said, “and turned it into design.”
“Into something new. You made your beast into a symbol.”
He looked over again. “And that’s not something many tamers can do.”
Donnie bowed slightly. “Thank you.”
Lucius returned to his seat and sat back down.
“Still,” he added, “this cockpit idea is dangerous.”
“One attack, and you might go down with the beast.”
Donnie shrugged. “I accept that risk. If I’m inside it, I’ll be more focused.”
“And the beast knows I’m with it, not behind it. We fight together.”
Lucius’s expression shifted. He nodded, almost to himself.
“Very well. That answer satisfies me.”
He leaned in slightly, his voice lowering just enough to shift the mood.
“As for your reward… how about something more fitting?”
He whispered a few words close to Donnie’s ear.
Donnie’s eyes widened. “Wait… you mean I can really—?”
Lucius smirked, calm and confident. “Of course. If anyone’s earned it, it’s you.”
Donnie’s grin returned. “Then that’s exactly what I want.”
Lucius leaned back again, hands clasped calmly.
“Then it’s yours,” he said. “Consider it your prize.”
