Chapter 463: When Dragon Meets Sharkzilla
Liline floated near Nebelis, eyes fixed on the container as it opened.
She gave a small smile.
“So these are the hybrids I heard about from Fiona.”
Nebelis’s eyes glowed softly.
“Yes.”
“They are the mutated beasts mixed with human DNA. I can feel it.”
Inside the container, two humanoid beasts stepped forward.
One was a monstrous, shark-like creature.
Its jaw split into four ways, metal fins vibrating along its arms.
The other was a sleek, birdlike machine.
Its feathers were made of blackened steel, eyes cold and sharp.
They were Razorkai and Zephyrahn, the hybrid beasts of Aurelius.
“New prey, hehehe,” Razorkai growled, voice echoing like a hungry wave.
Zephyrahn didn’t make a sound.
“New target locked,” it whispered, eyes cold and sharp.
The mist dragon clone stood still, its eyes empty but glowing.
Nebelis watched from above, its long mist body coiling.
“Let’s see how strong they really are,” it said quietly.
Liline floated beside it, grinning.
“Yeah,” she said.
“This will be a fun show—better than before.”
Razorkai leaned forward, claws cracking the ground.
“No blood smell,” it hissed. “But it’ll still break.”
Zephyrahn’s wings shimmered as it shifted position.
“Movement calculated. Weak points identified.”
Nebelis’s eyes glowed brighter.
“The mist dragon clone might not be alive—but it can fight.”
“Let’s see if they can handle it.”
Liline tapped her pen against her clipboard.
“They’d better,” she teased.

“I’d hate for them to disappoint me.”
Razorkai lunged forward, its fins vibrating with a low hum.
“Riiip!” it roared, jaw splitting open.
Zephyrahn vanished into the air, leaving only a faint trail of mist.
The mist dragon clone roared, claws of fog striking out.
Nebelis’s eyes narrowed. “Begin,” it murmured.
Liline’s grin widened. “Let the show start,” she whispered.
—
The mist dragon clone roared, mist swirling like a storm.
Its eyes glowed bright as it unleashed [Mist Weapons Rain].
Dozens of mist-forged weapons appeared above Razorkai and Zephyrahn, raining down in a deadly storm.
Razorkai didn’t even slow down.
It lunged straight through the weapons, letting them pierce its skin and metal plating.
Each cut only fueled its rage, red blood dripping and steaming in the cold air.
Its eyes glowed.
“More pain!” Razorkai growled. “More strength!”
Its body pulsed as [Frenzy Surge Protocol] activated.
Each drop of its own blood made it faster, stronger, and harder to kill.
Zephyrahn watched calmly, wings folded close.
His eyes locked onto the mist dragon’s movement.
Razorkai roared and activated [Multi-Jaw Collapse], its jaw splitting into four monstrous sections.
It lunged forward, biting down on the mist dragon’s body.
Its teeth ground through the fog.
But the mist dragon vanished, reappearing on the other side of the arena.
“Coward!” Razorkai laughed, its teeth dripping mist.
But Zephyrahn was already in motion. Its eyes glowed coldly.
“Target acquired.”
It spread its wings, eyes narrowing as it activated [Execution Protocol Lock].
A sphere of silence wrapped around the mist dragon, cutting it off from any outside sound or movement tracking.
“Nowhere to run,” Zephyrahn whispered.
Its talons extended as [Razorwind Talons] glowed with deadly light.
Then—[Silent Gale Dive].
Zephyrahn vanished into the air, a blur of wind and metal.
The mist dragon clone turned, confused.
It couldn’t sense Zephyrahn at all.
Zephyrahn struck from above, claws slicing deep into the mist body.
The mist dragon roared, its form dissolving and reforming across the arena.
It tried to rebuild itself, but each time it reappeared, it moved slower.
Nebelis watched from above, its eyes glowing faintly.
“Interesting,” it murmured. “They’re pushing it past its limits.”
Liline floated beside it, smiling. “I’d say they’re winning.”
Razorkai turned, grinning.
“Stop hiding!” it shouted. “Fight me!”
The Mist Dragon clone reappeared at the far end of the arena.
Its eyes glowed bright as it raised its massive claws.
[Mist Claws].
Its claws expanded from its body in every direction.
Long, sharp mist claws burst from the ground, the air, and even the sky.
Razorkai’s eyes gleamed with bloodlust.
“More pain! More fun!”
It roared and activated [Finblade Eruption].
Its metal fins vibrated, then launched like a volley of high-speed blades.
The fins whistled through the air, cutting through the mist claws and striking the Mist Dragon’s main body.
Mist hissed and scattered, but the Mist Dragon tried to reform.
Zephyrahn’s eyes glowed cold as it spread its wings.
“Weakness detected,” it whispered.
It activated [Slipstream Dash], vanishing in a blur of wind.
In an instant, it reappeared behind the Mist Dragon.
“[Razorwind Talons],” it murmured.
Its claws extended, glowing bright.
Zephyrahn slashed hard, cutting deep into the mist dragon’s core.
The Mist Dragon staggered, its body flickering and shifting as it tried to stabilize.
But each time it moved, more of its mist scattered into the air.
Razorkai lunged forward, jaw wide.
“[Multi-Jaw Collapse]!” it shouted.
Its jaws split into four parts, biting down on the Mist Dragon’s side.
The jaws ground through the mist, cracking the dragon’s form and tearing chunks of its essence away.
The Mist Dragon roared silently, the sound lost in the heavy mist.
It tried to slash with [Mist Claws] again, but its movements were too slow now.
Zephyrahn’s wings flared.
“Target immobilized,” it said softly.
It dove down from above, claws glowing with deadly light.
“Finishing blow,” it whispered.
The claws sliced clean through the Mist Dragon’s head.
The dragon’s eyes dimmed.
Its mist form shivered once, then dissolved into the air like a breath of fog.
It was gone.
Razorkai laughed, blood and mist dripping from its jaws.
“Hah! Weak, so weak!” it roared.
Zephyrahn folded its wings calmly, eyes sharp. “Target eliminated.”
Razorkai turned to Zephyrahn, its grin wide. “More prey?”
Zephyrahn didn’t answer, but its eyes glowed faintly.
High above, Nebelis watched, its silver eyes cold and bright.
“They defeated the Mist Dragon,” it said, voice like a cold wind.
Liline floated beside it, her smile sharp and pleased.
“Looks like they really are monsters,” she said.
“I wonder how far they can go.”
Nebelis’s tail curled slowly, the mist around it thickening.
“Let them come,” it said. “The forest is still mine.”
