Chapter 483: Shark’s Hunger Games
Fiona smirked as she suddenly stood, her body strong and her wounds gone.
Her hoverpack pulsed bright, Fionyx’s energy flowing through her.
“Fans, thank you for your cheers,” she said, her voice steady.
“I seem to have been healed.”
She looked around at the soldiers encircling her, their claws raised, fangs gleaming.
She raised her plasma mic blaster, pointing it at the sky.
“And now it’s time to fight back.”
She shifted her feet, eyes narrowing. “L-Shark, I choose you!”
A pulse of light formed beside her.
A towering figure emerged.
A massive sharkman, silver Luxorite scales gleaming.
His jaws split into rows of jagged teeth.
His arms ended in fin-blades, each one humming with power.
The chat exploded.
—
@ShockBite: L-Shark??!!
@NovaEdge: WHAT’S THAT THING?!
@LightBolt: She’s not even fighting alone?!
—
Fiona waved one hand, hair flicking over her shoulder.
“Don’t worry, chat,” she said.
“This L-Shark is a hybrid made by Lord L.”
She shifted her stance, one foot forward.
L-Shark flexed his arms, claws scraping the ground.
“It was made from an Aurelius hybrid we captured and… improved,” she continued.
“So we’re different from them.”
She turned to the soldiers, eyes hard.
“We just make it better and don’t do twisted experiments.”
—
Theron’s eyes narrowed as he watched the screen.
Follow new episodes on the "N0vel1st.c0m".
His arms crossed, the scars along his biceps tightening with each flex.
“How can this be?” he muttered.
His jaw was clenched, and tension was showing in his thick neck muscles.
He leaned forward, the screen reflecting in his gunmetal eyes.
“Isn’t that… Razorkai?” Theron’s voice dropped to a low growl.
“That’s the hybrid we sent to Luxoria to cause chaos.”
He turned sharply to the operator.
“But he wasn’t killed. Instead he was turned by Luxoria to be their soldier.”
The operator trembled, fingers stuttering on the keyboard.
“Sir, what do we do?”
Theron’s hand shot out, grabbing the edge of the console, his knuckles white.
“Damn it!”
His breath came fast, and each exhaled hot against the cold steel.
“Release the limiter,” he ordered.
The operator’s eyes widened. “Sir, that’s a direct override—”
Theron’s stare cut him down. “That thing is dangerous. Kill it quickly.”
The operator’s fingers flew over the keys.
The screen lit up with warning symbols. Red lights blinked across the room.
Theron’s voice rumbled deep in his chest.
“A hybrid turned enemy is a threat to everything.”
Theron watched, his fists trembling.
“That’s no beast anymore,” he said.
“That’s a monster in Luxoria’s armor.”
He turned back to the operator. “Send in everything. I want that hybrid broken.”
The operator nodded, sweat dripping. He pressed the button.
The screen filled with more red icons.
Dozens of beasts and soldiers moved to the front lines, weapons drawn.
Theron’s teeth bared. “Let’s see how Luxoria handles a real fight.”
The screen crackled with static as the final wave charged in.
—
Fiona shot into the air, her hoverpack’s glow lighting the darkened battlefield.
She flipped once, steadying herself.
She scanned the chaos below as soldiers fought with savage movements.
She smirked.
“L-Shark,” she shouted, “can I leave this to you?”
L-Shark’s eyes glowed.
He flexed his saw-blade arms, each blade dripping plasma.
“Leave this meat to me,” he growled. “This will be a buffet.”
Fiona laughed, hair flicking behind her.
“Sure! Now, chats, let’s see the performance of L-Shark!”
—
@BloodSurge: That beast is nuts!
@FireEdge: He’s gonna EAT them?!
@ChaosRider: Luxoria’s crazy but I love it!
—
On the ground, the soldiers roared as their limiter seals snapped.
Their arms cracked, expanding with monstrous growths.
One soldier’s chest split open, his ribs turning into [Spine Spears] that shot out at L-Shark.
L-Shark twisted, catching the spears on his saw-blade arms, metal grinding metal.
He laughed, low and sharp. “Now be obedient and enter my mouth.”
He lunged forward, his jaw splitting open wider than humanly possible, forming [Cannon Jaws].
He bit down, crunching through the soldier’s armor and spines in a single motion.
Blood and metal sprayed as he chewed, sparks flying.
Another soldier rushed in, arms fused into [Plasma Scythes].
He swung both scythes at L-Shark, who ducked, the scythes cutting air.
L-Shark’s finned tail whipped around, striking the soldier’s legs.
The soldier stumbled.
L-Shark lunged, his jaws expanding, and bit down, tearing through armor and bone.
—
@EdgeSniper: He’s eating them alive!
@VoidBurst: That’s savage even for Luxoria!
@MetalEdge: L-Shark’s unstoppable!
—
L-Shark roared, metal teeth grinding as he swallowed the last piece.
He turned, eyes wild.
Another squad advanced, their bodies fully fused, arms glowing with [Shockwave Cannons].
They fired.
Bolts of energy streaked across the ground.
L-Shark charged, the plasma blasts hitting his armor, leaving smoking dents.
He didn’t slow.
His arms formed [Saw-Blade Arms], spinning with high-speed whirring.
He swung both arms, cutting through the soldiers like paper.
Blood sprayed, metal clanged.
One soldier tried to run, but L-Shark’s head split open, forming [Cannon Jaws] again.
He fired a plasma bolt, the blast hitting the soldier in the back.
The man collapsed, armor melting.
L-Shark laughed, low and deep. “Meat for the feast.”
He lunged forward again, biting another soldier, tearing the body apart.
He swallowed with a grin, eyes bright.
Fiona hovered above, her visor capturing every angle.
“Chats, this is the power of Luxoria.”
—
@BladeRider: He’s unstoppable!
@NovaBurn: This is a show worth paying for!
@PlasmaQueen: LUXORIA! LUXORIA!
—
The soldiers rallied, a leader stepping forward, his body fused with [Titan Golem Form].
His arms turned into thick stone clubs. He swung both at L-Shark.
L-Shark ducked low, his arms shifting into [Plasma Cannons].
He fired point-blank, the twin shots smashing into the leader’s chest, blowing it apart.
“Obedience,” L-Shark growled, stepping over the broken body.
“Meat in the mouth.”
Fiona grinned. “Well, chats,” she said, voice loud and clear.
“It looks like the buffet’s still open.”
She leaned forward slightly, eyes locked on the chaos below.
“I wonder what kind of food they’ll send next,” she mused, grin widening.
L-Shark stood at the center of the field, arms wide, teeth gleaming.
He roared, the sound rolling across the ground like a wave.
He flexed his claws, chest rising with a deep breath.
“I’m waiting,” he growled. “Bring me more meat.”
The battlefield trembled under his feet.
