Chapter 52: Magnus’ New Instruction
Lucius and Luna walked through the corridor toward the participant area. Magnus also saw them and shouted, “Lucius! Luna! Over here!”

Magnus stood the door. He still looked fresh, although he had 5 battles earlier. He waved them over with his hand, signaling them to go toward him.

Lucius smirked as he began to go toward Magnus, with Luna silently following behind him. They then began to enter the participant room that was prepared by the arena for the participants.

Magnus soon sat down and smirked. He looked at Lucius and said, “I have got to thank you, Lucius. It’s because of you that I have known what I need to do and that is battling.”

He also then stood up and even wider. “Thanks to it, I have regained my confidence and with me winning it all, my fame has been raised in this academy.”

Lucius, who heard Magnus, only smirked. “Confidence is one thing, Magnus. Control is another. Do you feel you’re in control of your strength now?”

Magnus soon excitedly nodded and said out loud, “Absolutely. After winning five times in a row, I feel unstoppable.”

Lucius only chuckled as he was amused. “Good. But tell me, is that the final battle for you today?”

Magnus nodded and summoned his Lava Tortoise. A portal soon appeared and a huge Lava Tortoise came out, but this time it was slower than before as it was exhausted after five battles.”

Magnus then pointed at the Lava Tortoise and said, “It has given its all today, so I think it is time to let it rest for the day.”

Lucius observed the Lava Tortoise and smirked. “Rest is important but what if you don’t need to wait for it to recover?”

Magnus was confused as he heard what Lucius said. He then asked again, “What are you talking about, Lucius?”

Lucius stepped forward and crouched and began to take something out from his spatial ring: “Let me show you something interesting.”

Magnus then watched as Lucius placed a small pill into the Lava Tortoise’s mouth. The Lava Tortoise swallowed it without hesitation, but it still didn’t know what it was.

Lucius smirked as it was only a useless pill without any effect; that only purpose was to hide his system when he used it.

Lucius then turned to the system and said with his mind, “System, hack this Lava Tortoise and grant it instant healing after every battle for the day.”

The system soon reduced Lucius’ points and went to work. The Lava Tortoise began to stand up and roar as it was filled with energy now. It also stomped down its leg and roared as it was now really excited now.

Magnus was so shocked that he stepped back a little after seeing his Lava Tortoise. “What the hell is this? It looks like it has been brought back to its peak condition.”

Lucius only smirked and was amused after seeing Magnus’ face. “I have given it, one of my most expensive pills. Consider it a gift for you so it is ready to battle again, right?”

Magnus immediately smirked and laughed out loud. “You are incredible, Lucius! Thank you for the gift and with this, I can keep battling and show them what the Volcaria name means!”

Lucius then raised his hand to stop him from getting too excited. “Not so fast, Magnus. This time, I don’t want to challenge them but let people challenge you.”

Magnus was a bit confused but soon Lucius explained it more. “I want you to be the undefeated king, the one they all need to take down. It’s a stronger image for you and for our family.”

Magnus immediately understood what Lucius meant and smirked, “You’re right. I will let them challenge me and I will crush them all. I will be the undefeated king, and Volcaria’s name will be raised because of it.”

Magnus, who was now very excited, immediately went straight back to the arena. With Lucius’ pill, his Lava Tortoise had been healed, so it was time for him to pay him back.

Lucius then smirked after seeing Magnus, who had already disappeared. Luna then leaned back at Lucius and asked him, “So, what do we do now or where do we go now, Master?”

Lucius then stood and went out of the room. “We will go back to our residence. We will let Magnus play his role and we will play our own roles.”

The two then went out of the room and began to go back to their residence in the golden complex. It was time for Lucius to experiment.

The arena was about to be emptied and the announcer was also about to leave the arena. But suddenly, Magnus came and approached him.

The announcer didn’t know why Magnus was approaching him but knowing that Magnus had won 5 battles today and also against golden-class students, he didn’t dare to run.

Magnus then stopped right in front of the announcer. The announcer was a bit scared but still asked, “Young Master Magnus, may I ask what you need from me?”

Magnus smirked and immediately said, “I am not finished yet. Make an announcement that I want to do an open challenge.”

The announcer was shocked after hearing it: “An open challenge? Aren’t your Lava Tortoise exhausted after those hard 5 battles?”

Magnus only laughed and said, “Trust me on this. Just announce that I’ll take on anyone who dares step forward and I also want to add some tweaks to it.”

Magnus then began to whisper about what he wanted to add to his open challenge and when the announcer heard it, he was really surprised.

He immediately asked Magnus one more time, “Are you really sure about this open challenge and the tweaks that you just said, Young Master Magnu?”

Magnus nodded and went to the center of the arena. “I am very sure about it. Just announce to them while I am waiting for the challengers in the center of the arena.”

The announcer could only sigh as he began to take his magic mic and raise it as he was about to announce something really crazy, even to an Astra student like him.
