Chapter 81: How Liora Turned Hunters Into Prey!
The mercenaries frowned after they heard what Liora said. The two tamers stepped forward and sneered. “Do you think you can take all of us? You must be dreaming.”

The other tamer chuckled, crossing his arms. “A lone beastman and a girl? This will be over in seconds. Boys, let’s show them what they’re dealing with.”

The tamers then summoned their beasts. Portal appeared and 3-Star Flame Hawk and 3-Star Wind Falcon appeared from the portals.

The tamer with the Flame Hawk smirked, pointing at Liora. “Flame Hawk, use Flame Wings! Burn her to ash!” The hawk screeched as it ignited her wings and dove toward Liora.

The other tamer shouted, “Wind Falcon, use Wind Blades! Cut her down!” The falcon flapped its wing furiously, generating sharp wind currents that were going toward Liora.

Liora was not scared of those attacks. She smirked and bared her claws as she sprang into action to deal with those birds.

She then began to slash upward, intercepting the wind blades. The sharp gusts of air disintegrated on contact, reduced to harmless breezes.

The Flame Hawk was also about to dive to Liora, but she smirked and leapt to the air. She opened her claws and caught the hawk by its neck mid-flight. The bird squawked in panic, raising the hear, but Liora still gripped it.

Liora then spun in midair and slammed the Flame Hawk into the ground with bone-crushing force. The flames extinguished instantly as the bird let out a final screech before dying.

The Flame Hawk’s tamer fell down and clutched his chest as he vomited blood to the ground. His connection to his beast was cut, and the backlash hit him like a hammer.

Liora didn’t stop at all and turned her attention to the Wind Falcon, which hovered above, preparing for another attack. She smirked as she bent her knees down and launched herself upward.

The falcon’s tamer frowned and shouted desperately, “Wind Falcon, retreat! Get away from her!” but it was too late, as Liora had already reached it.

Liora caught it with her left claws and teared its feathers with its right claw. The bird screeched, flapping wildly, trying to escape, but Liora was stronger and with it, she gripped the falcon’s head and pulled.

The bird’s head was ripped apart easily by Liora and the corpse was thrown back to its tamer. The falcon’s tamer dropped to his knees, coughing up blood as the severed bond sent waves of pain through him.

The two tamers were now broken, with their tamed beasts killed by Liora. The three beastmen, who were all wolf beastmen, smirked and stepped forward.

One of them sneered, “Looks like the tamers were useless after all. Guess the reward will be ours now and also, I like the odd of three against one.”

Another beastman cracked his knuckles, braing his fangs. “We’ll tear you apart, little girl. Let’s see how tough you really are.”

Liora tilted her head and smirked. “You think numbers will save you? How pitiful you are? I am way stronger than the three of you.”

The three beastmen were angry after being underestimated and immediately rushed to Liora. Their fangs and claws were ready.

But Liora was faster, as she sidestepped the first beastman’s swipe with ease. As the second beastman aimed a strike at her ribs, she ducked low, allowing his claws to pass harmlessly overhead.

The third beastman approached from behind, his claws aimed for her neck, but Liora deflected his attack with her forearm by spinning on her heel.

Liora then smirked even more as she taunted them, “Is that all you’ve got? I expected more from your talk earlier but still, this is… pathetic.”

Enraged, the first beastman roared and charged again, his claws aiming for her throat. This time, Liora didn’t dodge. She caught his wrist mid-swipe, shocking the beastman.

But Liora didn’t stop there; she immediately twisted his arm, resulting in a cracking voice that made him howl in pain, dropping his knees to the ground as Liora shattered his shoulder.

The second beastman wanted to take the advantage when Liora was distracted, launching a powerful kick aimed at her side. But Liora turned and caught his leg mid-kick.

With a smirk, she spun and sent him spinning through the air before slamming him into the ground. The impact cracked the boulders beneath him, and he groaned in pain.

The third beastman hesitated for a moment, but his hesitation was short-lived as he bared his claws and lunged. “You’ll pay for that!”

Liora confronted his attack directly; her claws clashed with his, yet her strength and speed were superior, making the beastman a bit pressured.

But Liora didn’t pressure him; she let go and ducked under his claw swipe, driving her knee into the beastman’s gut and bending him down. Liora then gripped the back of his head.

“Fool,” she muttered, slamming him into the wall with enough force to leave a dent. The beastman then fell to the ground and bled a lot.

The three beastmen had been easily beaten by Liora, but she wasn’t done. She turned to the first beastman and smirked. “Let’s make this slow.”

The beastman was now afraid of Liora and tried to crawl away, but Liora was faster. She stomped on his leg, shattering his bone, making the beastman scream in agony.

Liora kneeled beside him, grabbing his other arm and twisting it until it snapped. “That’s two. Two more to go.”

The second beastman was scared after seeing the scene and tried to escape but Liora was already on him. She drove her claws into his thigh, pinning him to the ground, preventing him to escape.

“You’re not going anywhere, “Liora said as she took out her claws, spraying the alley with blood and immediately delivered a devastating blow to her ribs.

The third beastman, dazed but not unconscious, tried to crawl away. But Liora caught him effortlessly, dragging him back by his ankle. “Where do you think you’re going?”

She lifted him by the neck, her claws digging into his skin. He was choked and he tried to release himself. “P-please… S-spare me…”

Liora smirked even more and said, “No.” With one swift motion, she drove her claws through his throat, ending his life instantly.
