Chapter 87: Lucius’ Defensive Innovation
Lucius smirked as he adjusted the collar of his coat. Under it, there was a special inner suit that was Lucius’ hidden layer of protection that made the assassin fail to kill Lucius as his sickle arm could not cut it.

A few days ago, Lucius was contemplating how to defend himself. Despite his growing power and his strong maids, he realized that direct physical attacks remained a risk and now he was thinking how to solve this.

He then looked at one of the 1-Star beasts, and suddenly an idea appeared in his mind. He had a beast hack system that could do anything so the system should be able to do what he was thinking about now.

Lucius looked at the system and smirked as he told it. “Hack the beast and transform it into a thin and flexible inner suit. I also want to erase its consciousness, so it would be a cloth, not a beast.”

Lucius then looked around the room and found a nearby steel bar. He then walked toward it and gripped it with one hand. Without hesitation, he tried to bend it in half, and to his surprise, it bent.

Lucius chuckled and smirked as he tossed the mangled bar aside and adjusted his clothes. “Stronger than I expected. With this, I’ll not only survive—it’ll be a testament to my superiority.”

With that, he began to think more. What he could do with this type of equipment transformation hack. He smirked as new ideas appeared in his mind.
