Chapter 112: Chapter 112 Chapter 112: Chapter 112 After their two rounds of intense sex, Viktor carried Moon into his bedroom, gently placing her on the bed.
He kissed her forehead, cheek, then her lips.
Moon was like an entirely different person that night and Viktor was amazed by how sweet Moon could be.
He was on cloud nine as he relived every memory they used to have together in that house.
“You sure you don’t want us to take a bath?” Viktor whispered.
Moon shook her head, “Come to bed,” She said in a soft voice.
Viktor nodded and walked over to his side of the bed and lay, shifting to the middle and gently pulling Moon to him, hugging her from behind.
He took a long breath and placed a kiss on the back of her neck.
“What does mean for us, baby?
Does it mean we’re getting at something?” His voice was low.
He was cautious not to say something that might ruin Moon’s mood; he didn’t want the romantic atmosphere between them to fade.
Moon sighed, “We’re taking it slow, Viktor; I’ll need a little more convincing,” He whispered as she pushed her ass back, grinding against Viktor’s dick.
Viktor gasped and immediately placed a hand on her waist, “Come on, baby, you know I can be really convincing,” He palmed her ass.
“But not tonight, I need to sleep.
You’ve just been discharged and I don’t want to be the reason why you’ll go back there, okay?” He asked softly, kissing the side of her neck.
“Okay…” Moon replied and turned around to face Viktor.
She placed her elbows on the bed and placed the side of her face on her palm, staring quietly at Viktor.
Viktor blushed when he saw how Moon was staring at him, he smiled at her and raised his hand to her face, “Just say you love me already,” He teased.
Moon smiled and looked away, “Not yet…” Viktor pouted, “I’m not greedy; this is already enough; I’ll be patient with you; I don’t want to scare you away,” He leaned his face to hers and kissed her nose.
Moon placed her hand on his cheek, “Thank you, Viktor, you’re the only one who actually cares about me, and I’m sorry for everything,” She apologized.
Viktor hugged her and placed her head on his chest, gently patting her head.
“It’s all in the past, baby.
The future looks more healing and promising, I don’t want to relive the past when I can create new memories with you.” Moon sighed; she wasn’t so sure about the future she was talking about, but for her, she already had a future planned out, and it was going to be a one-of-a-kind future.
“Goodnight, Viktor,” She whispered.
“Goodnight, baby,” Viktor replied.
*** “Why, Mom?
Why?” Eva sat on her small single sofa, crying her eyes out the next morning.
Her mother was standing behind her, brewing in anger too.
“Does this mean he doesn’t want to marry me anymore?” Eva sobbed.
“Abbey is not even responding anymore,” She cried harder.

Catherine gently patted Eva’s back, “Don’t worry, baby, Mr.
Chaz is a man of his word; something might have happened that made him not show up last night.
Don’t worry, I’m sure everything will be alright,” Catherine consoled, but deep down, she sensed some foul play.
She knew her daughter was right about Abbey.
Abbey had refused to answer her numerous calls last night, she wanted to ask her why Aiden didn’t show up as planned.
They had really embarrassed themselves last night, after dressing up so nicely and going to the restaurant, they sat down there in the middle of the restaurant for hours, attracting weird glances from people.
And the worst part, they couldn’t even order anything because if they did, they did, they’d end up embarrassing themselves more because they wouldn’t have the money to pay for such an expensive meal.
After a while, the security had to come and ask them to leave because they wanted to close.
That’s the highest level of embarrassment they’ve faced in their lives.
And that bitch, Abbey, she had failed her, after agreeing to find a way to lure Ariel out that night for her to be kidnapped, nothing worked out as planned.
She was heavily disappointed.
She wondered what must have happened to make her and Aiden not keep to plan.
“Don’t worry.
I know you’re meant to be Mrs.
Chaz, and nothing can stop that,” She said to Eva.
Eva sniffed, “Really?
You think so?” She turned to look at her mother.
Catherine nodded, “Don’t worry, it’s all going to end up fine,” She wiped the tears away from Eva’s face.
Eva nodded, smiling faintly.
“Hey, Mom,” Eva suddenly brightened up.
“Yes?” She answered with a confused look; she was surprised at how quickly her daughter cheered up.
From crying to smiling in one second.
“Can you help me get my phone from the bed?” She asked, still smiling.
Catherine nodded.
“Alright,” she replied, walked just to Eva’s room, and soon returned with her phone.
“Here, what’s getting you so excited?” Catherine questioned.
Eva took her phone and quickly searched her contacts.
“Here!” She turned her phone to show her mother the person’s name that was displaying.
Catherine looked, and it took her a second to understand what was happening.
“Moon Chaz!” She gasped.
“Yes, Mom,” Eva nodded.
“Oh, my baby girl, we totally forgot our trump card!” Catherine laughed.
Evan nodded again, “I’m calling her,” she wanted no time and pressed the dial.
Catherine excitedly walked around and sat on the arm of the sofa, waiting patiently for the person on the end of the phone to pick up.
Eva had put the call on speaker so that her mother could hear Moon too.
“Hello?” Moon’s voice sounded from the phone.
“H-hi, Moon, it’s Eva…the girl you helped the other day in front of-” “Eva, I remember.
You never called,” Moon gently interrupted.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t want to disturb you.
Um I was wondering, can we-” “Yes, Eva, we can meet up; meet me at Dune’s by four; don’t be late,” Moon informed.
Eva snapped her head to her mother in joy, she was holding back her giggles, “Yes, yes, I won’t be late, thank you so much,” She appreciated.
“Bye, Eva,” Moon ended the call.
“Mom!” Eva hugged her mom, laughing as she did.
Catherine was all smiles and giggles, “I told you, baby, everything will work out for our good,” She kissed Eva’s head.
“Yes, Mom, I can’t wait to meet Moon,” Eva was giddy with excitement.
Later that evening, Eva was dressed in a short blue dress with her hair neatly packed in a low bun behind her head.
She stood in front of the coffee shop and stared at the sign written “Dune’s.” She was at the right place; she’d never been to that side of the city before as it was quite far from her house and workplace, but she wasn’t complaining; she was ready to meet anywhere with Moon as long as the outcome would bring her together with Aiden.
She clutched her small white purse in her hand and walked into the coffee shop.
“Hello and welcome to Dune’s,” The doorman greeted Eva as he pulled the door open for her.
“Thank you,” Moon smiled and walked into the building.
She stood aside and studied the place.
It was not already crowded, but there were quite a number of people inside; the round tables were occupied by people who were either working on their computers, chatting with friends, or just hanging solo.
He slowly ran her eyes around the room in search of Moon, and finally, she saw her sitting in a corner, busy on her phone.
She took a deep breath and walked toward her.
“Hi, good evening, Moon,” Eva greeted as she stood beside Moon.
Moon slowly looked up from her phone and looked at the person beside her, “Oh, hi, Eva, please, sit,” She pointed to the chair on the other side of the table.
Eva was smiling widely as she lowered herself on the chair, placing her purse on her lap, “It’s nice to meet t you again, Moon,” She said.
Moon nodded, “Mm.
I’ll get straight to business with you, Eva.
I know you like my brother, and like I’ve said before, I believe you’ll be a good match for him as a wife,” She gently placed her phone in front of her and elegantly crossed her legs.
Eva nodded, fixing her hair behind her ears.
“Yes, I do love your brother,” She agreed.
“Good.
And I’m sure you know that I must want something in return for doing you this favor, right?” Moon locked her eyes on Eva, making sure she understood how serious she was being.
Eva slowly nodded; of course, she knew that Moon must want something from her, too; she wasn’t that naive.
“Yes, I know, and I’m ready to do whatever you want, Moon,” Eva declared.
Moon smiled, nodding.
“Ariel…you know her, right?” Moon questioned.
“Yes, Mr.
Chaz’s secretary,” Eva replied.
“You don’t like her, do you?” Moon narrowed her eyes at Eva.
Eva hesitated for a second, was this a trap or not?
In the end, she decided to be honest.
“No, I don’t.” “Same here,” Moon informed, watching the surprise in Eva’s face.
“Oh…I didn’t know,” Eva muttered, her heart rejoicing at the news.
“Mm.
I called you here because my brother is starting to fall in love with his secretary, I won’t let that happen.
That’s where you come in.
We have to set Ariel up,” Moon stated.
Eva clenched her fists on her lap, gritting her teeth.
So that bitch had succeeded in getting Aiden to fall for her.
Eva was so ready to do anything, especially now that she felt threatened by Moon’s words.
If Aiden was really in love with Ariel, then her chances were gone, but with Moon, she had hope.
So, whatever Moon wanted, she would do.
“What do you want me to do?” Eva asked with renewed determination.
Moon chuckled; she knew she had Eva at her beck and call now; it was her rine to set the ball rolling.
“It’s simple,” Moon replied.
That evening, the two women sat in the coffee shop, discussing how to destroy another woman, they talked long and hard, making sure they each reached a certain agreement.
