Chapter 119: Chapter 119 Chapter 119: Chapter 119 The phone kept ringing and rushing and ringing.
Ariel’s heart shattered with each incoming call; the call was urgent, much as Aiden’s emotions would be at that moment.
Tears kept falling down her face, and her voice was already hoarse from crying too much.
Eva sighed in satisfaction, a smug smile on her lips, “Alright, Aiden.
That’s enough calling, deal with it like a man,” She put the phone on DND but made sure that Ariel still saw the screen and Aiden’s call that was still coming in.
“You’ll regret this, Eva, I promise you!” Ariel screamed, glaring at Eva.
Eva stood from the chair and slowly started to walk around Ariel’s chair.
She chuckled darkly before she started to speak.
“Regret?
No, I won’t.
From here on, what I’m going to witness is the best life possible in the hands of my future husband, Aiden Chaz,” Eva laughed evilly.
“Want to know how?” She smirked.
“Of course, you do,” She replied when she noticed that Ariel was silent.
“Here’s how everything worked out…” Eva lowered her face beside Ariel’s face from behind as she whispered into her ear.
“Argh!
Bitch!” Eva fell to the dirt floor, staining her blue dress.
Ariel smirked as a little bit of satisfaction washed over her.
She slammed the side of her head into Eva’s nose, breaking her cartilage.
“You!
You’ll pay for this!” Eva rushed at Ariel but Barrel grabbed her waist, stopping her.
“Let me go, can’t you see what she did to me?” Eva struggled.
“No, Ms.
Please calm down; we were told not to harm her; you know what will happen to you if she’s visibly harmed,” Barrel reminded.
Eva suddenly stopped struggling, “True,” She switched like a lunatic, smiling.
She used the back of her hand to wipe off the blood that dripped from her nose.
She gently walked out of Barrel’s arms and stride toward Ariel; this time, she only stopped a few feet away from her; she didn’t want Ariel taking her unaware again.
“Thanks for reminding me, Barrel.
There’s no better torture than mental torture,” Eva sighed.
“I just want you to know that I’ve won, sister.
I even have the support of Aiden’s sister, Moon, you see, the family already loves me,” Eva boasted.

Eva reeled back when Ariel suddenly started laughing.
She furrowed her brows and stared at her, “She’s gone crazy…” She muttered.
Ariel shook her head, ” No, dear, you’re the crazy one.
Did you plan this with Moon?
And you think she’s going to keep her end of the bargain?
You’re so foolish,” She chuckled.
Eva was enraged, “You’re just jealous and helpless!
You idiot, you want to get me angry and trick me into believing you.
Just so you know, tonight, I’ll be riding your Aiden like a stallion, and in the morning, I’ll be carrying his child; he has no choice but to make me his wife; his reputation would be on the lime, of course.
And my dear Moon is the mastermind behind all this; she’s right beside him at this moment, poisoning him with substances that’d make him ready to fuck anything he sees in the next few minutes, so darling, give up; I win, as I should.” Eva gloated.
Ariel bit her lips, tears falling like a dam down her cheeks, “You’ll surely get what’s coming for you, Eva, you think you’d go free after all this?” Eva laughed, “Oh, yes.
I do.
Oh, look, it’s a message from the boyfriend,” Eva raised Ariel’s phone to her face, “I’ll read it out, it’s quite an interesting message,” Ariel’s heart shook, what had Aiden sent?
He must be hurting so much right now and she so wanted to hug him and kiss him in reassurance that she would always remain by his side.
“Aww, brighten up, sister.
It’s a message You’ll love,” Eva strode closer.
Eva cleared her throat and read, “I should have always known you were just like the rest, like her…Emily.
I shouldn’t have let you in, I should have focused on the person who had loved me even before you came…” Eva paused.
Ariel could sense something heartbreaking coming from that message, the ones she heard were heartbreaking, but she just felt there was something that was about to shatter her forever, and she could see it in Eva’s eyes.
“Why did you stop, Eva?
You look more heartbroken than I am; what does it say?” Ariel asked, trying to sound unaffected by the message.
“No, no, no!” Eva screamed and threw the phone onto Ariel’s lap in anger.
Ariel used the opportunity to look down and read the remaining message.
“Moon.
I should have stayed with her all along.
Don’t bother showing your face to me again.
I’m going to marry Moon.
I should never have trusted you.” “No…” Ariel whispered, her lips wobbling.
“That bitch!
She tricked me!
I’m going to expose all she’s done, just wait!” Eva shouted, kicking down the chair she was sitting on.
Ariel was sad, but seeing the realization of defeat in Eva’s face made her feel good just a little bit.
So Aiden was never true to her all those while?
If not why else would he give up on her that easily?
He didn’t even bother looking for her.
But he’d just went ahead and ran to Moon at the slightest hick.
Maybe, they were both right in the beginning.
She too, should have stood her ground and not fallen in love with him, but look where the stupid love got her, wrecked like she always thought.
Aiden had broken her heart, where was the trust he claimed he had for her?
Where was the loyalty?
She stared down at the phone again and ended the message from the beginning.
Her heart felt like she was being stabbed by many knives, her one chance at love had been ruined forever.
Ariel was startled when she heard the door being locked by Hugo.
She raised her head to the door and saw Hugo pointing a gun at Eva.
“Hey!
W-what are you doing?” Eva’s voice was shaky as she started to move backward from Hugo.
“I’m just doing my job, Princess; she knew you’d want to expose her, so she gave you two options: this?
Or you keep your mouth shut,” Hugo brought out a picture from his pocket and showed it to Eva.
“No!
Not my parents!” Eva fell to the floor beside Ariel.
“Ariel, do something, they’re trying to hurt our parents-” “They’re not my parents, Eva.
I don’t give a fuck what happens to them; as a matter of fact, maybe we should all die; it’s the easier way out; what’s the use of living,” Ariel replied in a distant voice.
“No, no, please, don’t kill my parents; they’re all I’ve got!” Eva begged, kneeling on the floor.
Ariel just remained quiet, she felt soulless.
At that point, whatever she wanted to happen could happen, and she couldn’t give a fuck.
The man she loves had abandoned her in her most difficult situation, with the child.
“You don’t have to worry, Ms.
Eva.
Moon is quite generous.
She has offered to pay off your father’s debt in exchange for your silence, of course.
And if you ever think of talking about this to someone else, your parents will be gone, forever, understood?” Hugo threatened.
Eva nodded vigorously.
“Yes, I accept, please!
Let me go and spare my parents.
I swear I’d never speak about this to anyone, please!” She begged harder.
Ariel scoffed, “Coward,” She muttered.
She was dying inside, but unlike Eva who was facing her first disaster in life, she had more control over her expressions, she’s been through heartbreaking situations all her life, just that this was the highest, in matters of the heart, no one had control over how it reacted, and right now, hers was shattered to a million pieces.
Eva heard Ariem, but she ignored her and stood beside her.
She didn’t want to engage in any fight with her anymore, she wanted to leave this place as soon as possible before these assassins decided to kill her.
“Please, Hugo, just let me go,” Eva pleaded, tears running down her cheeks.
She’d never been this scared her entire life, she was shaking all over in fear, almost peeing her pants.
“Before I knock both of you out.
Here is one last thing Moon would like you to see,” Hugo nodded to Barrel.
Barrel immediately carried a laptop over and opened it in front of Ariel and Eva.
“No,” Ariel immediately removed her face and turned it to the side.
Eva could be seen balling her fists as her face was masked with betrayal and shock.
“Ah, Oh…Aiden, I Love you so much…” Moon’s voice rang out, haunting Ariel’s soul like a plaque.
The video showed Moon’s naked back as she bounced up and down over Aiden; he could be seen holding her waist in encouragement as he stared right at the recording camera as if he were aware that this video would be sent to Ariel.
He looked like he wanted her to see it, to see him loving someone else the way he used to love her.
Ariel knew that the sound and the image would forever haunt her, that is, if she even left here alive.
“Alright, it’s time to end this whole drama,” Batrle announced and pointed the gun at Eva.
“No, no, please!
Argh!” She screamed as the gun was fired at her neck, falling to the floor.
Ari3k saw Huho coming toward her and lowered her head.
‘Guess this is the end.
I will always love you, Aiden; I’m sorry you never got to see your baby.
You would have been the best father…’ “Goodnight, Mrs.
Chaz,” He said before he fired the gun at her chest.
