Chapter 120: Chapter 120 Chapter 120: Chapter 120 In Aiden’s living room, he sat on the floor, leaning his back against his sofa.
His head was buried between his knees, and his shoulders could be seen shaking.
Moos sat beside him, playing the supportive and worried sister.
“I’ve never seen the boss crying…this must be bad,” A maid whispered as they stood beside the kitchen watching everyone surround Aiden.
“No one can trace her?” Grandam Nari asked.
“No, Grandma, the search party said her phone had gone out of coverage; they couldn’t locate her.
“So, you all trying to say that my granddaughter is dead?” Mr.
Dee questioned from behind the sofa Aiden was sitting on.
Aiden heard his question and gritted his teeth.
His feelings were unsteady, he’d never felt so devastated in his entire life.
The image he saw was still sending sharp arrows into his heart, killing him with each passing second.
He didn’t want to believe it, but he knew he had to, he’d seen the image himself, and he knew it was possible; women could do anything; he’d experienced that from his mother.
He just never thought that someone as innocent as Ariel would do that kind of thing; he believed she was so pure that he had given her every piece of him.
He hadn’t shown anyone the picture and he wasn’t going to show it to anyone.
It was his matter, and he would suffer it alone.
They all thought he was heartbroken because his wife had gone missing, no one knew he was that shattered because he was facing his most dreaded fears.
He should have just let the marriage go on as a contract; that way, he wouldn’t have given a shit about what she did.
But he had fallen in love so deeply that the knowledge of what Ariel had done to him made him feel like he was going to die a moment from then.
The moment he saw the picture, his phone had fallen out of his hands out of shock.
He proceeded to call her, wanting to hear her voice and confirm if he had sent it correctly; perhaps there was something wrong with his vision.
But after calling over a hundred times and no answering, he realized that she didn’t even think that she owed him an explanation or even an apology, but who was he kidding?
Gold diggers never apologized.
“Mr.
Dee, please, calm down; we’re all hoping they find her; we don’t have to conclude the worst,” Grandma Nari stood from her chair and faced Mr.
Dee.
“I-” “What’s going on?!
Is it true?
Ariel’s missing?!” Jess asked as she barged through the door, Ken following her behind.
Everyone turned to the door and saw Jess running into the living room.
Before they could realize what she wanted to do, Jess had already dived Moon, who was sitting beside Aiden.

“Argh!” Moon screamed as Jess pinned her down to the floor and started hitting her.
“You bitch!” Punch…
“What have you done to Ariel?!” Kick…
“I’m going to kill you!” Salp…
Everyone started coming out of their shock and started shouting for Jess to leave Moon alone.
Ken marched forward and wrapped his arms around Jess’s middle, lifting her off of Moon.
“No!
No!
Put me down, Kenneth, someone needs to teach that bastard a lesson!” Jess struggled as Ken carried her far away from Moon, dropping her beside the door to Aiden’s office.
Aiden was just quiet, not caring about what was happening around him.
He didn’t care if someone brought out a gun and shot everyone.
He was that numb to things now.
“Jessica!
You’re crazy!” Moon got up from the floor, holding her cheek and eye.
“Enough!” Grandma Nari ordered, walking toward Jessica’s.
She stood in front of Jessica, who was still he’d by Ken, breathing harshly in anger.
Grandam Nari was angry and disappointed, and she made sure that Jess saw her disappointment in her eyes.
“I’m disappointed in you, Jessica.
Apologize to Moon immediately,” Grandma Nari commanded.
Jessica drew her arms away from Ken behind her.
She held her head high and replied.
“I’d rather estrange from the family than apologize to that bastard,” Jess said in a serious tone.
“Jessica-” “Don’t fucking say my name, Kenneth!” She snapped her head to him.
Ken was surprised; he’d never seen Jess that angry before, and it scared him.
“Jessica, I’m giving you the best chance; apologize to Moon; she’s done nothing for you to attack her the way you did,” Grandma Nari’s face was turning red as time went by.
Jess scoffed.
“I said what I said, Grandma.” She shrugged.
“If you choose to believe an adopted child over your real blood, then I have no choice but to leave this family.
I can’t be related with people who call wrong right; that bastard had Ariel kill-argh!!” Jess’ face swung to the side from the heavy slap Grandma Nari launched at her.
“Get off me, you accomplice!” Jess pushed Ken away with her elbow when he tried to hold her steady.
“And I shall never have a member of the family who blasphemes us, from now on, you’re no longer a part of us, Jessica.
Leave.
You’re fired from all our cooperations and ripped off of every privilege you once had,” Grandma Nari spat out and turned away from Jess.
“Grandma…” Lin held Grandma Nari’s hand but the old woman ignored her and walked forward.
She stood in front of Mr.
Dee and said, “I’m sorry you had to witness our chaotic family, I know your granddaughter should be the most important thing right now, and I hope our search team finds her and brings her back to us, to her husband,” She nodded and went back to her chair.
Moon stood beside Aiden, smirking at Jess.
She always knew no one would suspect her, and she was very glad that Jess had been removed from her way, if not.
She would have started to trouble herself about how to remove yet another person from her path.
“Oh, Grandma, I forgive Jessica, please, don’t be too harsh on her; she was the closest to Ariel so I understand her pain,” Moon went over to Grandma Nari and knelt in front of her, pretending to beg on Jess’ behalf.
Grandma Nari sent a scornful look to Jess and slowly returned her eyes to Moon.
“Get up, child; she’s not worth it,” She replied.
Jess scoffed, “You all don’t have to worry, I’m leaving, trust me, I can’t wait to leave this fake ass family.
I just hope it’s not too late when everyone realizes that you’ve been harboring a devil under your roof.
And as for you, Aiden.
I’m sorry you’re going through this, but it’s partly your fault; if you had listened to that poor girl and disowned that devil called Moon, you would have still been happily married.
Take this as Karma.
I’m out,” Jess finished and flipped her hair out over her shoulder.
She was about to step forward but Ken held her back by the arm, “Jessica…you don’t have to leave this way, just apologize to Grandma Nari-” “And who do you think you are to tell me what to do?
Just because you fucked me a few times?
Get your hands off me, Kenneth, you’re no different from her,” Jess pointed to Moon.
“Don’t make me tell everyone what you both did to Ariel,” She snatched her hand from Ken and walked out of the room.
This time, Ken didn’t stop her, but he felt weird as he watched her go…like something important was departing from him.
“Aiden, don’t worry, I’ll be right beside you to help you heal,” Moon promised.
“You’re sounding as if Ariel is never coming back,” Ken marched forward and pinned his eyes on Moon.
He was the only one in that room that believed what Jess was saying.
He knew how sick Moon was, and unfortunately, he’d once allowed himself to be a part of her sick deals; if not for Jess, he’d have ruined a perfect human like Ariel.
“Oh.
No, Kenneth, you misunderstood me.
I just meant I’d be beside him until Ariel returns,” Moon rephrased.
Ken shook his head.
He was disappointed at how everything ended, and if he had known, he would have protected Ariel instead of conniving with Moon.
Aiden suddenly stood from the floor, his aura freezing the whole room.
He looked at Ken and Moon and slowly asked in a dreadful tone, “What was Jess talking about?
What did you both do to Ariel?” His eyes bite into them like a laser.
Moon suddenly gulped and moved her eyes around the room but finally landed on Ken, silently asking him to help her out.
Ken scoffed, he was done covering up with Moon.
He wanted to be free from the guilt that kept eating him up from within.
He wasn’t built to be a villain.
“Aiden-” “On second thought, I don’t give a fuck,” Aiden raised his hand, stopping Ken from speaking.
It didn’t matter anymore.
He no longer cared about what had been or what would still be done to Ariel.
She could rot in hell for all he cared.
“Just let me explain everything to you, Aiden,” Ken said gently.
“No, Ken, you’re trying to frame me, just like Jess,” She snapped her head to Grandma Nari for support.
She didn’t want to be exposed just yet; that meant that all her efforts and sacrifices would be in vain.
It’s time she used her trump card, and she was very grateful to Viktor for being a big help to her success.
“Scared of showing people who you really are?” Kem taunted.
He didn’t want Jess’ departure to be in vain.
He felt like he owed it to her to bring the truth to light.
“Fine, I’ll confess!” Moon ran over to Grandma Nari and threw herself on the floor again in front of her.
“Please, Grandma, Aiden, everyone, forgive me, It was wrong of me to keep this huge se ret to myself.
I’m ready to accept any form of punishment for it, but please, do not send me away like Jessica,” Moon cried, tears spilling from her eyes like raindrops.
Grandma Nari frowned, she couldn’t see everyone becoming tensed up, especially Aiden.
“Speak, child.
What have you done?” She asked in a shaky voice.
‘Had Jessica been right all along?’ Grandma Nari thought, disheartened.
Moon sniffed, holding onto Gramdma Nari’s hand, “I’m pregnant, Grandma,” Moon announced.
Grandma Nari sighed in relief.
“Oh my God, Moon, is that it?
It’s alright, no one’s going to judge you.
We’re all happy to welcome a new member into the Chaz family,” She patted Moon’s shoulder.
Moon shook her head, more tears falling down her face, “No, Grandma, the baby…it’s Aiden’s…” she murmured.
“What?!” Aiden and Grandma Nari asked at the same time.
Anger, shock, disappointment, disbelief, disgust, hate, we’re all showing one after the other in Aiden’s face.
Moon sobbed harder.
“I’m sorry, Grandma, I’m sorry, Aiden.
Please, it was a mistake on a drunken night; I’m not lying; here’s the evidence,” Moon dragged her bag closer and took out a test result and a picture.
Aiden moved closer to have a look.
He froze when he saw Grandma Nari holding the positive pregnancy result and a picture of Moon and himself lying naked under his sheets, in his bedroom!
He couldn’t even remember when this was.
“Oh God…” Grandma Nari whispered, her body was shaking.
“You fucking bitch!” Aiden roared at Moon.
“Please, I’m so sorry,” Moon screamed.
Mr.
Dee shook his head and stood from his chair, “I’ll give you all some space.
Mark my words, if my granddaughter isn’t found before dawn, I won’t take it easy on all of you,” He warned and left the house.
“Get out!
Get out of my sight!” Ariel was shaking in anger.
“Please, Aiden, I’ll go terminate the baby, please don’t hate me…” Moon grabbed his feet crying harder.
“You better!” Aiden screamed.
Grandma Nari suddenly stood and stood between Aiden and Moon, “Never!” She shunned.
“My heir shall never be terminated; it’s your blood, Aiden, you can’t say that kind of barbaric thing.
She keeps the baby, you understand?!
And you better make up your mind to take responsibility for your carelessness!” Grandma Nari defended.
“Everyone leave!
Leave!” Aiden growled and pushed off the vase from the table.
“Argh!” Moon screamed in fear and hid at the back of Grandma Nari.
“Come, child.
Let him use this period to think about his decision,” Grandma Nari held Moon’s hand and led her out of the house.
Ken was speechless; he didn’t know how to react to this sudden news; he couldn’t wrap his head around it.
“Come, let’s give him some space,” Lin went and dragged Ken away, gently shutting the door as they left.
The maids had long disappeared from the scene, leaving Aiden alone and broken, just as he was in the beginning…
