Chapter 182: Chapter 182 Chapter 182: Chapter 182 Gregory’s heart was racing so fast; he’d never felt this way before.
It’s been a minute, and he still couldn’t take his eyes off Eva.
He was suddenly craving to kiss her more.
He liked the feeling he got from kissing her, but he couldn’t, or could he?
He was about to say something to Eva when his phone rang, “Hello, Ariel?” He sighed, trying to get his head back in the game.
Kissing a woman amid something serious was more dangerous than a suicide mission because it rendered you powerless and made you confused and tactless.
“We’re right behind you,” Ariel spoke through his phone.
His phone was on speaker, so Eva immediately turned her head to look behind her.
Gregory saw the black van parked ring behind them and immediately knew that Ariel hadn’t come alone as he thought; she was well-kept and prepared.
“Okay, I see you.
What’s your order?” I have questioned.
“Have Hugo seen you before?” Ariek questioned.
“Maybe at the mall, but I’m not sure if he did see my face,” I responded.
“Then you can just stand by.
Bison will go knock on the door, I’m sure you guys know the rest,” She informed.
Gregory agreed, “Yes.” He replied.
The call ended.
In the next second, the door opened, and four masked guys spread themselves around Hugo’s house.
Eva noticed they carried little guys, but she knew that there was nothing little about the effect of that gun.
She snapped her head to the side when she heard Gregory’s door open, “Hey…” She held his hand.
Gregory chuckled, “Chill, I’m not going in there, in just here to help…if I’m needed, that is,” He assured her.
Eva agreed to remove her hand.
The door shut, and Eva covered her hands on her face, silently screaming.
“What the fuck am I doing,” She groaned.
She wasn’t even his girlfriend, but look how she’s acting.
She took a deep breath and raised her face to look out of the window and watch what was about to happen.
She saw Bison remove his face mask, hide his gun behind his waist, and then walk toward Hugo’s door.
He reached it and knocked once, waiting for someone to open it.
No one came.
Eva knew they were in there because she had seen Josh opening the door for Barrel.

She believed that Hugo was in there too, maybe that was why they didn’t want to open the door.
They suspected every knock they heard on their door because they knew that their line of work wasn’t safe at all and enemies might be lurking around waiting to harm them.
They were right, and today, it was their turn to be hunted.
Bison knocked again, louder this time.
Soon, the door opened, and Barrel walked out with a cigarette between his lips.
The moment he saw Biosn, he felt intimidated by the height and Aura, but he saw that he carried no weapon and relaxed.
He thought Bison was one of those rich guys who wanted to hire them for a job or probably was just lost.
“Who are you?” Barrel questioned arrogantly, blowing his smoke in Bison’s face, but he didn’t budge.
Bison remained calm as he answered, “My name is Bison, and I have a job for you.
Where is your boss?” I have questioned.
Ariel had informed them about everything on the way here, and they had agreed on a simple yet effective way that would help them achieve their goal.
Barrel’s eyes gleaned in greed and wickedness, “What kind of job?” He asked, placing a hand on the side of the door frame.
“I’ll only speak to your boss, or you forget about it,” Bison stated.
Barrel frowned, “Fine,” He puffed his smoke one last time on Bison’s face before walking back into the house.
A few seconds later, Hugo walked out proudly and stared at Bison, not saying a word.
“You’re the boss?” Bison asked.
“What’s your offer?” Hugo asked without answering Bison’s question.
“I need you to kill someone for me.
Are you restricted by location?” Bison asked.
Hugo scoffed, “It seems you don’t know who you’re speaking with, if you did, you wouldn’t ask such a stupid question, rich kid.
Give me an identification and a location.
And make sure you pay before leaving rich kid; I don’t appreciate people wasting my time and leaving; I won’t let you leave, understand?” Hugo threatened.
Bison nodded.
“How about I pay before giving you the information?” He asked.
Hugo smirked, “Now we’re taking,” He turned to Barrel, who was standing beside the door, and gave him a sign.
Barrel nodded and went into the house.
Huge had asked him to bring the phone they used to receive payment, they didn’t use their regular phones since it would be too dangerous and they could easily breach tracked.
The phone they used was heavily secured with encryption and other things.
No one can trace their business on that phone.
Barrel walked out and gave Hugo the phone, “Ten figures, rich kid,” Hugo said, showing him the payment code to scan.
“Isn’t it too much?” Bison asked.
“Ah, you have too many options, rich kid, either pay with the money, or you pay with your life, I told you, I don’t let people go without payment, for all I know, you could be an agent who just wants to set me up by recording our conversation,” Hugo narrowed his eyes at Bison.
“You’re right,” Bison smirked.
“What?!
You bastard!” Hugo glared at Bison.
“Moron, you’re asking for death,” Barrel went to take out his gun, but Hugo beat him to it.
However, before he could raise the gun to Bison, he felt something sharp pierce the life of his neck, causing him to fall to the ground, unconscious.
“Bastard!” Barrel screamed and wanted to shoot Bison, but he fell to the ground, too, his neck pierced by something sharp.
Soon, the door was kicked open, and Josh ran out with a gun, firing right at Bison, but he didn’t make it to the third shot when he, too, joined his gang on the floor.
Seeing that all three men were down, the bodyguards came out of hiding, chained their hands behind them, and carried them toward the van, two to one.
Gregory went and opened the door for Ariel and led her to his car.
She would ride with them while they dropped Hugo and his gang behind the van.
“Thank you, Greg,” Ariek said to Gregory as he opened the back door for her.
Eva turned to look at Ariel, who had entered the car, “Hello…” She greeted awkwardly.
Ariel smiles at her, “Hi, Eva, good thing you came.
You still remember the way to the warehouse, right?” She questioned as she fastened her seat belt.
Eva nodded, “I do,” She could still remember it, unlike Ariel, who was unconscious when she was taken there.
“Awesome, Gregory, please follow her directions,” Ariel said and got busy on her phone, replying to Aiden’s text that was telling her how he couldn’t wait to bend her over tonight.
Gregory typed in the location Eva had provided on the GPS and was surprised to see that it was quite far away from all the bustling and hustling of the city.
Moon had chosen a destination she knew that no one could imagine.
He could remember how hard they searched for Ariel back then and ended up with no clue.
There was no way they could have found her, the place was just too far to believe.
Eva felt a kind of way as they drove to the location.
Her pasts were haunting her like a nightmare.
Three years ago, she had ridden with Josh to come to see Ariel and probably kill her.
Now, she was riding with Ariel to kidnap the people she had worked with.
Ariel was casually staring out of the window and stared at the road.
It was just as she expected, deserted.
She removed her eyes and focused on her phone.
This time, it wasn’t Aiden’s message.
It was a notification that her phone had simultaneously connected to the secret pen.
She smiled.
She easily cloned Moon’s and Hugo’s phones, seeing all their communications and transactions.
She thought she would only see their communication from three years ago, but she also saw the most recent one where Moon had sent him a picture of Aiden dropping Jace off in school and captioned it: Kill the boy tonight.
She clenched her fists around her phone.
‘Oh, Moon, you just keep digging your grave deeper every second,’ She thought menacingly to herself.
She would make sure that Moon regretted the day she was born into her miserable life.
She would expose her when she least expected it after teaching her a private lesson, of course.
“We’re here, Ariel,” Gregory spoke from the front, drawing Ariel out of her angry thoughts.
Ariel looked up to find their car driving into a bushy track.
The factory building in front of it looked like it was just waiting for the wind to push it down.
“Let’s go then,” She ordered and got out of the car as it parked.
