Chapter 184: Chapter 184 Chapter 184: Chapter 184 “Jasper loves the app,” Aiden spoke behind Ariel as they walked down the stairs.
It was a Saturday, and none of them had plans to go out, they were expecting Aiden’s father to visit that morning, so they had asked Anna to prepare enough food.
Ariel had already taken Jace down to get fed by Anna while she gently had her spend her morning with her husband, cuddling and talking.
“I know he would; we did it after all,” She turned her head to the back and winked at him.
Aiden smiled, nodding, “Yeah, we did.” He chuckled.
They reached the living room and saw Anna gently feeding Jace at the dining table, “Good morning, Anna,” Ariel greeted.
Anna smiles brightly, “Good morning, Sir, Ariel, hope your night was eventful?” She asked with a teasing smirk.
Ariel widened her eyes at the older woman, “Anna!” She called in disbelief.
“It was Anna; I managed to get that little guy to leave,” Aiden subtly pointed at Jace, who was observing his table manners by not speaking to anyone.
Anna giggled like a schoolgirl, “Jace, you’re about to have a baby sister,” She whispered loudly to Jace, but Ariel heard it.
Jace snapped his head to Ariel, “Is that true, Mummy?
Are you and Daddy going to buy one?” He asked excitedly.
Ariel laughed softly; Aiden came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist, “I don’t know, Jace, I’ve placed my order; I hope the logistics company delivers it on time,” He kissed Ariel’s neck.
Jace was giggling, he looked at Anna and said, “My baby sister is on the way,” He was kicking his legs excitedly under the table.
“Yes, JJ, you’re going to be a bug brother soon,” Anna patted his head and kept feeding him.
She sent Ariel a knowing loom before shaking her head and focusing on Jace.
Ariel was blushing; she turned her head to the side to look at Aiden, who was still holding her possessively, “Aiden, what’s this?
Can’t you see we’re in front of Jace?” She used her elbow to gently nudge his abdomen.
Aiden slowly kissed her neck and whispered in her eyes, “He has to get used to seeing me being clingy with my wife.
He has to understand that he’s not the only one who loves and wants you.
And, look at it this way, I’m also teaching him how to be a good husband, children learn from their parents, and our boy is going to be a gentleman, just like his father,” He was about to suck her earlobe into his mouth one.
“Enough, Mr.
Gentleman, I think that’s too much lesson for the boy, let’s go eat,” She narrowed her eyes at him.
Aiden smirked, “I’d rather eat you,” He bit his lips seductively.
Jace gasped behind Ariel, drawing their attention to him; Aiden wasn’t aware that he had left the dining area.
“Daddy wants to eat mummy?” He asked and slowly held Ariel’s hand, drawing her away from Aiden.
“That’s not good, Daddy, you don’t eat people, right, Mummy?” Jace questioned.
Ariel rubbed her eyes, seeing Anna, who was speedily clearing Jace’s plate to escape the weird and funny atmosphere.
“Yes, honey, you don’t eat people, you’re Daddy must have been very hungry and thought I was a bugger,” Ariel convinced.
Aiden nodded at the boy, not knowing what to say, he was embarrassed, he knew Jace might remember those when he’s older, and by then, he’d know what it means to eat a woman, and then his perfect father figure would be ruined in Jace’s mind forever whenever he remembered that his father had publicly announced that he wanted to eat his mother.

“Oh, then come eat, Daddy; there is a lot of food for you to eat; stop thinking mummy is a bugger, okay?” Jace asked with his little brows furrowed as he stared at his father to Make sure that he heard what he was saying.
“Yes, sir,” Aiden nodded and walked over to the dining.
The three families ate in a loving environment; Jace asked some silly questions here and there, and his parents tried their best to answer his questions.
Soon, Bison walked into the house and bowed to them, his eyes momentarily going to Ariel; he knew his message was about to delight her.
“Good morning, Boss, Ms.
Chaz, young Boss,” He greeted respectfully.
“What’s the news, Bison?” Aiden asked, not turning to look at him.
Bison was about to speak when Jace suddenly ran towards him, and his body dared up at him.
Ariel wasn’t even aware when Jace left her side, he’d been so fast to do it.
“Jace?” She called him back but Jace wouldn’t turn, almost as if he was now deaf to her calls.
Bison managed to smile down at the boy, “Do you want something, young boss?” He asked respectfully.
Jace nodded, “I like it, can I have one, too?” He pointed up at Bison’s bicep.
Bison was wearing a white tank top that morning, so his arms were on display, leaving the beautiful wolf tattoo on his bicep for everyone to see.
It attracted Jace because he’d never seen anyone with a tattoo before.
Aiden finally turned to see what Jace was talking about and frowned slightly.
“You like the wolf?” Bison asked, lowering himself in front of Jace, allowing him to touch his arm.
“Yes, it’s beautiful,” Jace commented in awe, his little explorative hands rubbing all over the tattoo.
Ariel chuckled, “It’s indeed beautiful, Bison,” She said, staring at him.
Aiden snapped his head to her, frowning harder when he saw her looking at Bison’s arm.
He scoffed and said to Bison, “What did you want to say, Bison?
Hurry and leave,” He ordered, feeling jealous that his bodyguard was taking his family’s attention away from him.
“How about I draw one on you tomorrow?” Bison asked Jace, who nodded vigorously.
Bison smiled, “Alright, it’s a deal,” He shook hands with Jace before the boy agreed to run back to his mother.
“Boss, Mrs.
Nari Chaz is currently at the gates, asking to be allowed in, and she’s not alone, she’s with Moon and her child,” He informed.
Aiden’s face hardened; he could see that Grandma Nari was trying her best to destroy his happiness with his family; why couldn’t the old woman just leave him alone?
“Ask them to leave,” He ordered; there was no way he would entertain some stupid drama this morning.
“Yes, Boss,” Bison bowed and turned away.
However, before he could reach the door, Ariel stopped him.
“Wait, Bison,” She stood from her chair.
Bison paused and turned to her, “Yes, Ma’am?” He already knew what she was going to say.
“Let them in,” She said.
“Yes, Ma’am,” Bison nodded and left the house “Baby, why did you do that?” Aiden sighed, “Didn’t you hear that Moon is coming too?” He asked.
“I did, sweetheart, I’m just curious to know what Grandma has to say, and, it’s about time I speak to Moon on some topic,” She kissed Aiden and walked to the living room, waiting for Grandma Nari and her guest She heard footsteps coming toward the living room and smiled; she couldn’t wait to see the look on Moon’s face when she saw Jace kicking and healthy.
Cloning both her phone and Hugo’s phone had made it easy for her to send her Moona message as Hugo.
She had told her that Jace was, well…dead.
Moon had immediately demanded a picture proof, which she easily provided; that was her field; she could do anything with images, even though she hated to use her son for that kind of thing, but this was a mind game she was willing to play with Moon.
After seeing the pictures, Moon sent her a whooping of some of the money that she received from the pretense of being “Hugo.” She was eagerly waiting to see how Moon comports herself.
Aiden walked over with Jace, sitting beside Ariel, “You’re not going to be mad, right?
About Candy?” He asked her quietly, gently placing Jace on his lap.
Ariel chuckled, “Why would I, she’s just a baby,” she smiled.
The door opened and Grandma Nari walked in, holding Candy’s hand, Moon following her behind.
“Welcome back to our home, Grandma,” Ariel stood and went to hug the woman, kissing her cheek.
“Hello, little Candy, your dress is very lovely,” She patted the girl’s head.
Candy blushed and smiled.
“Thank you, miss,” She replied.
“Mummy!
Is she the sister?
Daddy!
Look!
The logistics delivered it very early,” Jace ran over and grabbed Candy’s hand.
“Come on, sister, I’ll show you my toys,” He smiled at Candy, who just giggled and followed him, together, they ran up the stairs, leaving the adults in the living room.
Ariel giggled, “Children will be children.
He said logistics, darling,” She looked at Aiden and smirked.
Aiden sighed, children will really just be children.
“Ariel, I’m here to talk to you about something,” Grandma Nari sighed.
Ariel nodded with a smile, “Hello, Moon, why do you look like you’ve seen a ghost?” She asked Moon who had gone stiff the moment she entered the house.
Seeing Jace was the last thing she expected; it messed up her mind; if he was still alive, then who had Hugo shown her last night?
She was scared and confused.
Her heart raced in fear as he looked at Ariel’s face.
Could Hugo be working with Ariel all these years?
Was this the same thing he did when he showed her the picture of Ariel and Eva before he threw them into the ocean?
Maybe he never even shot them, and he definitely never threw them into the ocean.
She needed answers, answers to questions she couldn’t ask publicly.
“Earth to Moon, please come on in and make yourself at home, stop looking terrified.
I don’t bite,” Ariel held Moon’s cold hands and led her to sit on a sofa.
“We didn’t come to sit, Ariel.
I’m here to take Jace for a parent’s test,” Grandma Nari announced, surprising Aiden and even Moon.
Ariel simply smiled, “It’s a Saturday, I’m free, let’s do it,” She smirked.
