Chapter 200: Chapter 200 Chapter 200: Chapter 200 “It’s Eva!” Jace ran toward Eva, who was standing beside Gregory in front of the airport.
They had come to welcome them and drive them to the hotel where they’d be staying.
“Good evening, Mr.
Chaz, Ariel, and Grandma,” Eva greeted while lifting Jace off the floor.
“Hi, Eva, ready to visit your parents?” Ariel asked with a teasing smile.
Eva rolled her eyes, “Ecstatic,” She replied with sarcasm.
“Thank you, Gregory,” Grandma Nari said as she got into the car.
Gregory nodded.
“Boss, please,” He held the car open for Aiden and Ariel.
“It’s alright, Gregory, I’ll drive them, you can take the other car with your girlfriend,” Aiden patted his shoulder, taking Jace from Eva’s arms.
“Alright, boss,” Gregory replied and was about to walk away when he heard Grandma Nari’s disapproving voice.
“Girlfriend?
It’s a shame, when do you plan to marry her, Gregory?
You should start making babies, you know?
Jace needs some nephews and nieces,” She said and slammed her door shut.
Gregory looked attacked and embarrassed, Eva looked red like a tomato, looking at the floor as if it had something very interesting.
“Ah, I’m so tired; we should probably go rest in the hotel and prepare for tomorrow morning.
Come on, honey, let’s go, Eva,” She waved at the couple before dragging Aiden toward their car.
“Bye….” Eva replied in a small voice.
As Aiden’s car drove off, Gregory sighed, “Hey, love, about what Grandma Nari said, I do want to -” “It’s okay, let’s go,” Eva scurried off to the car.
She felt so weird with the whole conversation.
Marriage had never occurred to her mind; that was a whole new level of commitment.
Aiden and Ariel’s relationship was sweet, and she knew Gregory would give her something like that too, but for some reason, she was getting cold feet just at the thought of it.
** At the hotel room, Jace chose to sleep in his Granmda’s room, to Ariel’s delight, it gave her more room to seduce her husband.
She walked out of the bathroom, her matching sexy black pajamas giving her the moral she needed.
However, when she stepped into the room and was disappointed when she saw Aiden sleeping already, she frowned.
Why didn’t he wait for her to come out of the bathroom before he slept off?
Was it just so he wouldn’t touch her?
She was angry.
Ariel went over to the bed and climbed on it, keeping her distance from Aiden, and facing away from him.

She was curled up by herself, feeling neglected, she had gotten used to Aiden’s arm around her before going to sleep, so tonight, it was going to be hard for her to sleep.
She was adjusting herself when she felt Aiden’s arm around her waist, drawing her closer to him.
She sighed in relief and turned around so she faced him, “You weren’t sleeping?” She asked quietly, a little sad frown on her face.
Aiden shook his head, “Not really, I was waiting for you before I dozed off,” He replied.
“You weren’t trying to avoid me?” She stared at his face.
Aiden sighed, “I wasn’t, Moma,” He kissed her forehead, “Let’s get some sleep; I don’t want you all stressed out tomorrow morning,” His voice was soothing.
Ariel gave up the idea of seducing Aiden.
She did feel tired after the travel, and she could see that Aiden was also tired; she was considerate.
She smiled and hugged him tighter before closing her eyes to sleep.
On the other hand, Aiden was actually avoiding her; he was silently praying for Ariel to buy his little trick, and he was glad she did.
He had read online that pregnant women weren’t quite moody, so he didn’t want to get her upset by admitting to avoiding her just so he wouldn’t make love to her.
He was barely holding himself back, Ariel had been giving him different suggestions for the whole day, tempting him.
Tonight, he knew he wouldn’t escape her, so he chose to pretend as if he’d slept off after her shower; he didn’t want to risk the early-stage pregnancy just because of his pleasure.
The next morning, Aiden helped Ariel dress up, finding her face funny as she pouted all through her morning routines.
“What’s the problem?” He asked.
Ariel blinked, “You know very well what my problem is, it’s been a day,” She lowered her eyes between his legs.
Aiden chuckled, “Arop sulking, you know it’s yours, I’m yours, we just have to be careful, you know…” He winked at her.
Ariel rolled her eyes at him and went over to the table to grab her purse, “Bla bla bla, I’m starting to doubt if it’s really mine or you have someone else,” She scoffed and walked toward the door.
Aiden was shocked and bothered to hear her say that; he quickly followed her behind her; he couldn’t let her have that kind of thought, “Moma,” He held her hand and walked out of the room with her, hurrying to catch up with her fast pace.
“Moma, you know I love you and you’re the only -” “Please,” She turned to face him, “Sace your sweet words for someone who cares because I don’t,” She snatched her garden front and walked away.
Aiden sighed.
Was this per-minute tantrum part of his pregnancy journey?
Was he weird for finding it sexy?
He smirked and followed her again.
Outside the hotel, Gregory was already waiting for them beside the car “Good morning, Boss.
You look lovely, Ariel,” He greeted as they entered the car.
“Thank you, Greg, you look hot, too,” Ariel winked before entering the car.
“Keep your compliments to yourself; she doesn’t need it,” Aiden paused in front of Gregory and warned him.
Gregory cleared his throat and took a step back, “Yes, Boss, it won’t happen again,” He bowed his head.
“Good,” Aiden glared and entered through the car.
Gregory adjusted his tie, feeling like his life was threatened.
As the car moved, Grandma Nari was sitting beside Gregory in front, reading a book quietly.
Jace was napping between his parents, resting his head on Ariel’s lap; her fingers were gently massaging his scalp, her face looking out of the window.
She felt emotional as she stared at the familiar streets; this was her hometown, but she didn’t have a single good memory of it.
This was where all her trauma and abuse started.
This was where she lost her mother, faced abuse from her father, and later developed trauma from her stepmother and stepsister.
But it was all in the past; she had healed and moved on, but she needed to do one last thing, which was what she was going to do now.
The car finally stopped in front of a familiar house, Arien stared at it from inside the car, smiling.
At that moment, she was glad she had been kidnapped in place of Eva that night.
She had thought her life was over, but instead, her life took a wonderful turn.
It gave her a wonderful husband, a cute son, and her dream job; she couldn’t be happier with herself than she was.
“Are you okay, Moma?” Aiden noticed that Ariel seemed lost as she was at what he believed was her home, her first home.
Ariel nodded, “I’m fine, let’s go,” She went to carry Jace but Auden held her hand.
“I got him…
I got you,” He spoke gently.
Ariel smiled and nodded, “Thank you,” She said.
Grandma Nari got out of the car and walked over to Ariel, “Are you sure you’re alright?
You look quite pale, I can just speak to them myself if you’re not feeling well,” She placed a hand on Ariel’s back.
Ariel shook her head, “I’m fine, Grandma, it’s nothing,” She replied and walked forward.
She couldn’t wait to see the look on her parent’s faces when they saw her, especially her stupid father.
Gregory was the one who knocked on the door when they reached in front of the house, patiently waiting for the door to be opened.
Someone slowly opened the door from behind, peeking the head out.
“Who are you?” Jude, Ariel’s father asked.
Gregory stepped aside to reveal Ariel, who was standing behind him.
Ariel wanted some fun, so she asked Aiden and Grandma Nari to stand beside the house; she wanted her parents to believe that she was alone.
“Hi, Mr.
Hudson,” She smiled at him.
Jude looked surprised to see Ariel, but he suddenly turned angry, “So he’s the one you married, huh?
Your mother must have gotten it wrong.
You have the face to bring someone who is not Aiden Chaz to my house?
And you think I will be proud and take you back?
You better leave here with thud unknown man before I lay my hands on you,” He angrily pointed at her.
Ariel smiled, “Don’t be in a hurry to chase me away, Mr.
Hudson; I’m here to take back my mother’s property; it’ll be you leaving the house in the end,” She narrowed her eyes at him.
Jude laughed humourlessly, “And who do think you are?” He questioned proudly.
“She’s my wife,” Aiden walked out from the dude of the house, Jace now awake in his arms.
Jude was flabbergasted, he stepped back and looked at Aiden.
“You…
Mr.
Chaz…
Ariel…
he’s your husband?” He stammered.
“Yes, she’s my daughter-in-law, Jude, and it’s time you pay us our money and leave her property,” Grandma Nari joined, stunning Jude.
Jude was hyperventilating; he felt cornered and caged, and he knew it; there was no getting of it thud time.
