Chapter 211: Chapter 211
Viktor arrived at the decorated open garden with Candy, the whole place looked magical.
Lanterns were hung all around the trees, and tables were decorated with beautiful flowers, expensive wines, and stylish dishes.
People were already sitting at the tables while some stood, chatting amongst themselves; it was a calming atmosphere.
He spotted Aiden and Ariel speaking to Grandma Nari under a tree and carried Candy toward them.
“Dad, is it a birthday party?” Candy questioned Viktor.
“No, Angel, it’s a welcome party for a friend, you’ll meet her soon,” He replied.
“Hi, Candy, look how beautiful you look,” Grandma Nari saw them coming and went to carry Candy from Viktor.
“You look pretty too, Grandma,” She kissed the old woman’s cheek.
“Aww, would you look at that,” Granmda Nari chuckled.
“Hello, Candy, how are you doing tonight?” Aiden questioned, touching her cheeks.
Candy smiled, “I’m fine, uncle Aiden. Dad said I can call you Aiden, can I?” She asked innocently.
Aiden shared a look with Ariel before nodding, “Yes, I like that,”
“Hello, Princess, who are you dressed as? The dress looks so royal,” Ariel kissed Candy’s cheek, staring at her in admiration.
Candy’s eyes lit up in excitement; someone finally realized her dress.
“It’s Merida,” She said, happy.
Ariel chuckled, “You look so stunning, Princess,” She praised.
Aiden watched with a smile; he was imagining how good Ariel would be with their twins; he’d so much love them until they could take his love no more.
“Do you want to meet Jace?” Grandma Nari asked.
Candy nodded, already looking around for Jace.
“I’ll take you to him,” She said and carried her away.
“Hey, man. How are you doing?” Viktor shook Aiden’s hand.
“Perfect. She looks happy,” Aiden pointed to Candy.
Viktor scoffed, “Of course, she is. She has the best Dad in the whole world,” He boasted.
Aiden raised a brow at him, “Proud motherfucker,”
“Jealous?” Viktor winked at him.
“Who knows, maybe if you let me have your wife, too, you’ll see how I’ll make her glow and -”
“You have a death wish?” Aiden grabbed Viktor’s shirt.
Ariel rolled her eyes and walked away, “The party is about to start; I better worry about the celebrant not being here yet than watching two men-child.” She said and left them.
She heard them bickering behind her and was glad she walked away.
“Hi, Jess, where are you? You said you’d be here in three minutes,” Ariel asked, putting her phone in her ear.

“I’m almost there; Jewel’s driving; he got lost at some point, but we’re on the right track now,” Jess chuckled nervously.
“Just hurry, everyone will soon get suspicious,” Ariel said.
“OK, bye,” The call ended from Jess’ end.
Ariel sighed; she knew Jess never wanted to attend the welcome ceremony; Jewel told her everything.
“Hi, am I late? Has the celebrant gone already?” Ken taped Ariel’s shoulder from behind.
“Oh, hi, Ken, aww, you got here a gift?” She tapped on the small black box in Ken’s hand.
Ken blushed and pushed the box into his pocket.
“No touching,” He narrowed his eyes at her.
Ariel raised her hands beside her head, “Okay, okay, fine, come, I have a special sit for you,” She was about to hold his arm when someone’s arm wrapped around him from behind.
“I’ve been searching for you, Ken, where do we sit?” Rachel asked, hugging Ken’s arm.
“Rachel? What are you doing here?” Ken asked in shock.
He looked at Ariel, who already had a judging look in her eyes.
“Then I’ll leave you guys to it,” Ariel smiled at Ken but she made sure he got the hidden message behind her smile.
“Ariel, no, you misunderstood; I didn’t come with Rachel,” He tried to explain, but Ariel just shrugged and walked off.
“Oh, come on, Handsome. You should be ecstatic that a hot model like me is standing beside you, and after this boring party, I’m taking you home to give your dick just the right sucking it needs,” She moved her hand lower, but Ken slapped it off.
“Ouch!” She gasped.
“Ken, you hit me,” She frowned, but there was an underlying smirk playing around her lips.
“I’ve always told you I have someone ready, but you kept saying you would back off whenever she returns. Now that she’s returned, this is her welcome party. Can you back off now? Please, I don’t want her misunderstanding me,” Ken asked, trying his best to tone down his anger and irritation.
“Well, I guess I lied. I like you, and I want you. By the water, why isn’t she together with you yet? Does it mean she’s moved on from you? As long as you’re single, Ken, I’ll keep seducing you till you succumb to me, no man can resist me,” She pressed her breasts against his arm, smiling up at him.
“Jess!” Ariel’s voice called, alerting everyone of Jess’ presence.
Especially, Ken.
Ken looked up and found Jess and Jewel walking toward him; she wasn’t looking at him, almost as if he wasn’t there, which only made him believe that she had seen him with Rachel and had the idea to ignore him.
She was probably getting false ideas in her head at the moment.
If this were a normal situation, he would have walked up to her and whispered to her how beautiful she looked in that one-hand white dress she was wearing tonight.
But, no, he stood there with another woman’s arms wrapped around his as Hess walked past him without sparing him a glance.
‘My night is ruined,’ He thought as he angrily looked down at Rachel.
“Stay away, Rachel, it’ll look bad if a man pushed a woman to the floor,” He whispered.
“I dare you,” She smirked.
Jess wasn’t expecting to see Ken, and definitely not with another woman, in her own party.
Her jaws were subtly clenched, her fingers digging angrily into her small white leather purse, but she kept a neutral face, no one could tell her raging internal turmoil.
Her night was ruined already; he could have just stayed home and fucked his girlfriend to his full; why bring her out here to cause trouble?
“Smile,” Jewel whispered as he led her up the small stage.
Ariel was already standing there waiting for her, she stretched out her hand to Jess, smiling.
“Thank you,” Jess said, walking up the two stairs to the stage.
“Everyone, the celebrant finally arrived,” Ariel spoke in front of the microphone, causing the crowd to chuckle.
“We almost thought we’ve been stood up,” she smiled at Jess.
“Stop it,” Jess whispered, smiling.
“I’m glad to have my best sister-in-law back with us, no offense, Lin,” Ariel pointed to Lin sitting in front of the crowd with Jace and Candy.
Everyone laughed, feeling bad for Lin.
“Nah, it’s good. I don’t like you either,” Lin’s face looked hurt as she pointed to Ariel.
The crowd once again erupted in laughter and applaud, enjoying the little family banter.
“Alright, everyone, let’s make a loud cheer for our long-lost sister; welcome back to the family, Jessica,” Ariel hugged Jess as the crowd stood to clap for Jess.
“Um, Ahem,” Jess cleared her throat as she stood in front of the microphone.
“It’s no surprise that I was forced to be here,” she started, smiling as her guests struggled to hold in their laughter.
“Thank you for coming,” A lady shouted from the crowd.
Jess laughed, “No, you all, thank you for coming,” She loomed around the crowd, regretting why she did when her eyes met Ken and his girlfriend, looking all loving.
She quickly brought her eyes back on the happy crowd, ‘Fuck Ken, and fuck whoever that bitch was.’ Her smile not wavering for a second.
“I’m glad I came; I’m happy to see faces I thought I’d never see again, especially my Grandma’s face,” She chuckled.
Everyone turned to look at Grandma Nari with smiles on their faces
“I had a little misunderstanding with her, which was all her fault,” Jess pointed accusingly at her.
Ariel chuckled, shaking her head.
Grandma Nari made her way to the stage and went up to Jess.
“I’m not speaking to her yet till she apologizes, if not, I’m running away again tonight,” She folded her arms, looking at Grandma Nari expectantly.
Grandma Nari smiled, “Can I hug you?” She asked.
Jess turned to the guests, “Should I hug her?” She asked them.
“Yes!”
“Hug her!”
Hug her!”
The crowd chanted in unison, asking Jess to hug Grandma.
“Fine, come here you stubborn woman,” She leaned into Grandma Nari’s warm hug, smiling as the crowd applauded louder than before.
Everyone was happy, just as it should be.
After their stage reconciliation, Grandma Nari led Jess away to sit with her, happy that everything was finally getting back to normal.
“Hi, Jess,” Ken spoke behind Jess.
Jess, who was busy smiling at chatting with Grandma Nari, let her smile fall; she slowly turned and looked at Ken, and as expected, Rachel was beside him.
“Hi, Jessica, my name is Rachel Garet, the best mod -”
“I didn’t invite you, or your model Ken; you both can take a walk around the garden, away from my party,” Jess smiled at them and stood, walking away from them.
Ken sighed, “Way to go, Rachel, happy?” Ken asked.
Rachel nodded, “At least, now, she knows you’re taken,” She giggled.
Ken’s eyes followed Jess, and his soul left his body when he saw her hugging Gideon tightly as if they’d had some deep history between them.
He suddenly recalled hearing Gideon speak to someone on the phone; he had called that person Jess, so it was really his Jess.
“Excuse me,” He pried Rachel’s hand away from his and marched toward the hugging couple.
