He would have refused, but Ken already accepted the offer, so, instead of driving to the cafe, they had headed down to a club.

He didn’t like clubs; that was a place where he saw the true nature of women; it was a place where all the gold-diggers went to haunt their latest targets.

Unfortunately for them, they could never get to him.

“Don’t worry, Aiden, La Playa’s a good spot,” Viktor said from behind the car.

Aiden didn’t reply, he remained quiet until they reached the beach club.

Aiden looked over at the lady Viktor was talking about and saw that she was dressed in a sexy red dress, she was beautiful, but not as Ariel, he bet Ariel in those same clothes would cause commotion in this club, and he would be the one standing beside her, warding off every man that looked her way, claiming his territory and feeling proud of having such a beautiful wife beside him.

“Excuse me, guys, I need to use the restroom,” Collin chuckled and walked away from the three friends and toward the direction of the restroom.

“Collin seemed quiet at first, but after the meeting was concluded, he switched up immediately; he’s so wild,” Ken commented quietly.

“I need to get going,” Aiden stood up and wanted to walk away but Ken immediately stood and held him back.

“Wait, You can’t just leave, maybe wait until he gets back,” Ken reasoned.

Aiden frowned and looked at Ken, “Don’t worry, he can’t do anything, I’m still the one doing him a favor by doing business with him,” he replied and removed his hand from Ken’s.

Ken sighed, knowing that he couldn’t stop Aiden.

I’ll stay with you and have more fun,” Viktor smiled up at Ken.

“I just think it would have been good for him to-” Ken paused when he heard a loud voice shouting a familiar name “Get out of my way, Jess!” A lady’s loud voice shouted aggressively.

Viktor nodded and stood up, looking behind Ken.

“Wait,” he rubbed his eyes, “Guess I should really cut down the alcohol, now it’s messing with my vision, I almost believed the lady holding someone back was Areil and the lady she’s holding back is Jess, damn, maybe we should go home and get some rest,” Viktor sighed and held Ken’s hand, wanting to lead him out of the club.

Ken immediately turned to see what Vikotr was talking about, and as he did, he became alert immediately and ran toward the bar.

But before he could get there, Julie had already punched Jess’ face and dragged Ariel to her side.

Ariel luckily escaped Julie’s hold but Julie aggressively reached for her again, but before she could reach her, someone drew Ariel behind himself and punched Julie square on the face.

Aiden, who was almost at the door suddenly wanted to look back and see if his friends were following him, but the moment he looked behind him, the scene that drew his sight to the bar made his heart jump out of his body.

Collin was holding Ariel to her side, while Ken stood aside, holding Jess, and a security man was holding a tall lady from reaching for Ariel.

Why was that lady reaching aggressively towards his wife?

Aiden didn’t know he could cross the crowd of hyped-up people as if it was a cleared path, and in the blink of an eye, he was standing in front of Ariel.

Ariel had been trying to catch her breath and find a way to get out of that messy situation, but, she suddenly saw Ken appear before them, she was still trying to figure out the coincidence that brought Ken to the club too when she suddenly saw the man she’s been running away from for two days now.

Julie seemed to calm down the moment she saw Aiden.

Chaz, It’s not what it looks like,” She panicked and immediately stopped struggling with the security who was holding her back.

It surprised everyone that Julie knew Aiden, especially Ariel.

“What’s going on here, Daniel?” Aiden questioned menacingly, slowly turning away from Ariel and glared at Julie.

‘Daniel?’ Ariel frowned and immediately looked at Jess who had the same expression on her face.

But Ariel didn’t conclude anything, yet.

Maybe he was asking the security who held Julie.

But, the moment Julie replied to Aiden’s question, Ariel was left utterly confused and trying but failing to grasp what was going on.

Julie’s face looked panicky as Aiden spoke; she quickly put her hands together and replied.

“Of course, just a little misunderstanding got my lips busted,” Jess pointed at her lips, showing them Ken and Ariel.

Julie immediately turned ashen when she saw Jess show Aiden where she had hit her.

Ken noticed the change in Aiden’s countenance and immediately went to hold him back, but he was too late, Aiden had already swung a jab at Julie.

Julie sat on the floor, staring at Aiden in shock.

“Aiden, you shouldn’t hit a woman; this is a public place, you might get recorded,” Ken quickly moved toward him and held him back.

Aiden moved away and scoffed, “It’s alright, right now, just like Daniel, I identify as a woman too,” He smiled coldly.

“What?” Jess asked in shock, moving to stand beside Aiden.

Ariel was left speechless behind Collin.

She had understood what Aiden meant, and she was glad they had gotten help, there was no way she and Jess would have been able to fight off their attacker.

And when Julie was on her feet, Jess gave her a loud slap.

“You shall be charged for attempted rape!” She shouted in her face.

“I’m sorry,” Julie apologized and looked down, looking sorry.

If I hadn’t intervened, what would you have done to this pretty lady?” Collin gently held Ariel’s arm, glaring at Julie.

Aiden saw that and immediately took Ariel’s hand away from Collin’s.

“Thank you for your intervention, Collin, but she’s my employee, it’s my responsibility to take care of her,” He stood between them and subtly brought Ariel to his side.
