Chapter 65: Chapter 65 Chapter 65: Chapter 65 Ariel and Jess shared a look.
Their time has been cut short.
After trying to run away from Aiden, they rather ran toward him.
Ariel felt cornered, she wanted to remove herself from beside Aiden, but she didn’t want to cause a scene.
“Take him away, and let his brother know that our business collaboration is over,” Aiden said to the security man behind Julie.
Julie immediately knelt before him, pulling off the wig on her head to reveal a buzz cut.
“No!
Mr.
Chaz, please!
Forgive me!
Don’t punish my brother for my mistakes, please; how can he keep funding this whole resort, please?
Forgive me,” Julie cried helplessly.
Aiden smiled coldly.
He slowly turned to Ariel, who was looking away from him, and then he looked back at Julie.
“One question, Daniel.
What were you planning to do with her?” He asked lowly, looking at Ariel.
“Please, I’m sorry, I was wrong-” “Answer his question, you psycho!” Jess raised her hand to slap Julie but Ken held her back.
“Easy, tiger, he’s already on his knees,” He whispered to her.
“Hmph!” Jess took her hand away and folded it against her chest.
“I- I was…I wanted to sleep with her-” “Be more precise, Daniel,” Aiden’s tone was menacing.
Julie gulped, looking around the unsmiling faces of the people who surrounded her, she just knew that it was over for her.
“I wanted to have sex with her,” Julie said, defeated.
Aiden clenched his jaw as he glared at Julie, his eyes shining with vengeance.
“And, you were planning to do that without informing her about your identity?
A man.
Take him away,” Aiden ordered.
“Yes, Mr.
Chaz,” the security bowed and roughly put his hand beneath Julie’s arm and dragged him up.
“You don’t have to worry about the beach resort; from now on, I own it,” Aiden informed, turned, and walked away with Ariel.
Outside, the cool night breeze was turning chilly.

Ariel was feeling the cold eating at her skin but she refused to shiver, not wanting to let Aiden know she was cold.
Others were walking beside them, Ken and Jess were struggling to hold a drunk Viktor up, and Collin was quietly walking beside Ariel.
“Are you cold, Ms?” Collin asked Ariel gently.
Ariel was about to reply but she suddenly felt a suit around her shoulder, warming her body automatically.
“Ah, thank you…Mr?” Ariel smiled.
“Collin, just Collin, M’Lady,” Collin replied, smiling at her.
Aiden cleared his throat, glaring at the suit that lay around Ariel’s shoulder.
He wanted to snatch it from her and throw it to the floor, but he couldn’t; he had just introduced her as his Employee, and doing something like that would raise questions from Collin.
But he could clearly interpret the look Collin was giving Ariel and he didn’t appreciate it.
“And what’s the name of the beautiful lady I’m walking with?” Collin asked.
Ariel could feel Aiden’s eyes on her, but she didn’t care.
Being married didn’t mean she could not make new friends, and she was still in her freestyle era, she was doing whatever made her happy.
“Ariel,” She informed.
Collin smiled, “As expected, a beautiful name, for a beautiful lady,” He complimented.
“Thank you,” Ariel nodded politely.
Jess was behind them, noticing everything that was happening; Aiden’s face was a subtitle, he had his feelings written all over his face, and jealousy was eating up at him.
Ken too, although he tried his best to keep a neutral face, but his feelings still showed.
He had his eyes hooked on Collin’s back, frowning deeply as Ariel kept chatting with him.
“Oh, watch out, there are stairs,” Jess gently reminded a staggering Viktor.
Ken helped him climb the stairs, and soon, they reached the area where they parked their cars.
“Do you mind if I drive you home, Ariel?” Collin asked as they reached his car, his car was the first in line, and Aiden’s own was parked ahead.
Aiden paused beside Ariel the moment he heard Collin’s words.
‘Bastard,’ He gritted his teeth as walked to stand in front of Collin.
“Um, you don’t have-” “You don’t have to, Collin; I can take her home; thank you for your attentiveness,” Aiden removed the suit from Ariel’s shoulder and handed it over to Collin.
Collin took it, looking defeated.
“Oh, thank you, Mr.
Aiden,” He smiled sadly.
“Good night, Collin,” Aiden nodded at him and took Ariel’s hand, walking away.
“Wait!” Collin suddenly grabbed Ariel’s hand, halting her steps.
Ariel was shocked; she instantly turned to see Collins smiling at her, she could feel Aiden’s murderous gaze on the hand that Collin was holding.
“I’m sorry, can I have your number, I’d like to meet you sometime,” Collin asked, flashing Ariel a charming smile.
Ariel was speechless.
She did a quick glance at Aiden then she turned back to Collin.
She appreciated his timely save at the club, but she didn’t want anything to do with him, she wasn’t even sure if she wanted to see him again.
“My number?” Ariel asked again, just to be sure she heard him right.
Collin nodded, “Yes, M’Lady, I’d be honored,” He replied.
“Um, okay…” Ariel sighed; it was just a number, it’s not a big deal.
Ariel took his phone from him and typed in her number.
As she typed on Collin’s phone, she noticed Aiden angrily walk away from beside her and headed toward his car.
She returned Collin’s phone to him and bid him goodbye and goodnight.
Ariel waved at him as he entered his car and drove off.
“Hmm, looks like this night wasn’t a total bust,” Jess suddenly whispered beside her.
Ariel scoffed, “Yeah, I guess,” She shrugged, “But it’s not what it looks like,” She explained.
“Oh, come on, don’t be so uptight, give people a chance, you might be surprised,” Jess advised.
Ariel tisked and shook her head.
“I know, but now just him…” Ariel replied.
Ken was seen walking over to them after he had finished pushing Viktor into the car, he reached Ariel’s side and paused.
“Are you okay?” He asked quietly.
Ariel looked up at his face and nodded.
“I’m fine, Ken.
How did you guys end up here?” She questioned.
Ken was about to reply when a car honked loudly beside them.
“Oh, damn!
Aiden!
You want to give me a heart attack?!” Jess asked, placing her hand on her chest and breathing harshly.
Ariel watched as Gregory walked out of the car and came and opened the back door for her.
“It’s time to go home, Ariel, please enter the car,” Gregory spoke calmly.
Ariel sighed and looked at Jess and Ken.
“I guess it’s goodnight, guys,” She smiled.
Ken nodded, looking into the car to see Aiden sitting coldly facing his front and looking at them.
His mind couldn’t help but recall the discussion he had with him in his car when he was bringing him back from the hospital.
His attitude was increasingly becoming possessive, and a small part of him feared that if Aiden opened up to Ariel about his feelings, then she might end up falling for him.
He hated to think this way, but maybe he was starting to see the reason Moon acted the way she did, and, it was about time he asked her about what her plan was.
Back at the hospital elevator, Moon had wanted to discuss something with him about how they could both end up with the people they loved; maybe it was time he gave her a listening ear, he would do whatever it took, as long as it didn’t involve hurting anyone physically.
“Bye,” Ariel’s voice brought Ken out of his wandering thoughts.
“Bye, Ariel,” Ken replied, touching Ariel’s arm.
Jess just stood aside, smiling and waving at Ariel as she entered the car.
“Eyes on me, Mr.
Ken,” Jess immediately dropped her smile as Aiden’s car drove off.
Ken reluctantly removed his eyes from the speeding car and looked at Jess who was now standing in front of him.
“Come on, Jess, it’s late, go home,” Ken patted her shoulder and was about to leave, but Jess drew him back.
He sighed, he already knew what Jess wanted to say to him, and he didn’t want to hear it.
“Stop it, Ken, I see the look in your eyes; I know you love Ariel, I know you already suspect that she might be developing feelings for my cousin, but I warn you, step back and do not try anything funny, you hear me?” Jess narrowed her eyes at him.
Ken chuckled quietly.
“I hear you, Jessica.
But, I’ll only step back when Ariel asks me to,” He replied calmly and walked away from her.
“You!
Wait!” Jess ran up to him and held him back by the arm.
“Go home, Jess,” Ken said tiredly.
“No, I need you to give me your word, Kenneth,” Jess persisted.
Ken didn’t say a word; he just kept staring at her face.
Jess sighed and stepped toward him, “If you’re really looking for a wife, how about marrying me, Kenneth?” She whispered.
