Chapter 68: Chapter 68 Chapter 68: Chapter 68 Ariel smiled up at Aiden and gently pushed him away from her.
“Excuse me, Mr.
Aiden, my ride has just arrived; see you at the office,” Ariel raised her hand to his face.
Using her fingers, she seductively traced it down across his shoulder, chest, abdomen, and between his legs.
Aiden sucked in a sharp breath as he felt Ariel playing with her fingers between his legs, she had somehow managed to find the cap of his cock and was circling her nails around it.
“Baby…” Aiden reached for her but she dodged, smiling up at him.
“Goodbye, Mr.
Chaz,” Ariel gave him a mischievous smile before she turned and left the house.
“Fuck,” Aiden muttered.
He lowered his head and looked down between his legs; he couldn’t leave for work like this; his cock was hard and outlined through his pants.
Aiden sighed and turned to look upstairs, time for a cold shower.
But, as Aiden went up the stairs, he had an evil smirk on his face.
“Ariel, you would pay for this cold shower, trust me,” He smiled at himself.
*** Ariel arrived at the Company and quickly went up to her floor.
She thought of jumping right into work, but her tummy was rumbling loudly, indicating she was hungry.
She sighed and got up from her chair, deciding to go down to the Cafeteria and get something to eat.
She stood, picked up her phone, and walked out of her office.
Her eyes were sharply looking around the place, searching for Aiden, but he was nowhere to be found.
“Why was he taking so long to come to the office?” She whispered to herself as she walked toward the elevator.
“Good morning, Ariel, what are you talking to yourself about?” Jewel suddenly appeared behind her and asked as he started walking with her.
Ariel turned to look at him and smiled, “Good morning, Jewel, nothing, was just wondering what to eat from the Cafeteria,” Ariel replied, maintaining her smile.
She decided to be kind to the only person who always found time to speak with her on this busy floor.
“Ah, then, you’re with the right person.
I was just about to head down, too.
And I know just what you’d like,” Jewel held her hand and went into the elevator.
They reached the Cafeteria and he led her out, still holding her hand, “I’m sorry for holding your hand without your permission, just that, you’re dressed too beautifully this morning, and I want all these bitches to know that I’m your friend,” Jewel giggled, pointing at someone sitting at the table at the back of the Cafeteria.
Ariel chuckled and looked at the place he had pointed and her smile fell when she saw Eva sitting with her back to them.
She was eating with a guy and a girl at the same table as her.
Ariel scoffed quietly; it was so easy for Eva to make new friends after manipulating her last friend that she went ahead to find a new one who she could manipulate.
She pitied them, she only wished everyone could see Eva for the evil witch she was.

“Hey, would you like this?” Jewel’s voice dragged her out of her thoughts and she turned to see what he was pointing at.
She didn’t know what the food was but she nodded, trusting him as he had asked her to.
He was free to select the best food for her.
“Looks great,” She replied.
“You’d love it,” Jewel promised.
After getting their food, they went and sat down at a table.
Ariel made sure they sat very far from Eva, she didn’t need drama that early morning.
“Mm…yummy,” Ariel commented as she had a taste of the meal.
Jewel nodded, “Yes, it’s my grandma’s enchilada,” He boasted.
Ariel nodded with a smile, “It’s really nice…wait, you said it’s your grandma’s enchilada?” She asked with a frown.
Jewel nodded.
“How?
Did you give your grandma’s recipe to the chef?” Ariel wondered.
Jewel shook his head, “My grandma is the chef…she’s still quite young, you know?” He smiled at her shocked face.
Ariel couldn’t believe it.
“So, your grandma is working for Mr.
Chaz?” She questioned.
“Mhm!” Jewel nodded, “From the day he opened this company till date,” Jewel informed.
“Wow, I never expected that,” She was wondering how it came to be that Jewel’s grandma was Aiden’s work, Chef.
Well, however, it happened, it was great; the old lady sure did know how to make a mean enchilada.
“I see your face…you’re wondering how my grandma came to be Mr.
Chaz’s chef right?” Jewel asked.
Ariel chuckled, “You could tell?” She asked.
Jewel nodded, “Sure.
Well, I was made to swear never to tell you, but here I am, breaking the swear…” Jewel sighed heavily.
Ariel frowned, “Tell me what?” “My grandma is Grandma Nari’s best friend, Her name’s Doris, in case you’ve heard the name before,” Jewel informed.
Ariel went quiet for a while, trying to process the information.
Doris?
As in the one Grandma Nari mentioned the day she and Aiden had returned from the hospital?
His grandma was Grandma Nari’s best friend, and…he also said, ‘In case she’s heard that name before,’ does this mean that…
Ariel paused her thoughts and narrowed her eyes at Jewel.
Jewel saw the realization in her eyes and smiled.
He slowly nodded at her to confirm her thoughts.
But, she couldn’t conclude, she needed to confirm, “So, you mean…you know about…” She trailed off, staring at him in confusion.
Jewel giggled like a kid, then he leaned in toward her on the table and responded in a lowered voice, “Yes, Mrs.
Chaz, I do know,” he giggled again.
Ariel’s eyes widened to their fullest as she stared at Jewel.
How many more people knew about this?!
Was she just fooling herself, pretending not to know Aiden meanwhile everyone knew about the supposed fake marriage?
“Oh God…
since when did you know?” Ariel whispered.
“Since the day of your wedding when Grandma Nari sent my grandma a picture of both of you looking at each other so-” “Enough!” Ariel hit her hand on top of the table, turning a few heads to their table, including Eva’s.
But she didn’t care, she had to make sure Jewel understood the situation.
Jewel shut his mouth, staring at Ariel calmly.
Ariel lowered her voice to the lowest it could be and whispered, “You see, you don’t have to let a single soul know about what you’ve just said.
This marriage, its-” “I know,” Jewel interrupted, sighing.
Ariel frowned, “You know?
You know what?” She questioned.
“Don’t worry, Mr.
Chaz told me or rather…warned me never to say it to a soul, just like you warned, and don’t worry, we’ll keep the secret from the grandmas.
It’s just a shame that he couldn’t fall in love with someone as pretty as you, if I were straight, I would have dated you, married you even,” Jewel replied.
Ariel couldn’t get any more shocked.
Jewel was gay?
And Aiden had told him about the status of their relationship?
So Jewel knew who she was all along.
She felt so dumb.
But it was good; at least she could be herself around her new friend, and also, she could free her mind from thinking that Jewel might decide to ask her out along the line; the guy was peacefully gay.
But then, she snapped her head to him.
“Did he say that to you?
That he’d never love me?” Ariel narrowed her eyes at Jewel.
“Well, he said-” “Ms.
Dew!” Anthony rushed into the Cafeteria and ran toward Ariel.
Ariel was startled; she instantly turned her head toward the man who was rushing toward her, looking like his wife was about to have a baby on a bus.
“Good morning, Mr.
Anthony,” She greeted as the man stopped beside her, panting.
“Hurry, call him, the meeting is about to start, and the clients are already here, ten more minutes, Hurry!
Call him,” Anthony ranted.
Ariel immediately became alert; Aiden was about to miss a meeting; why, though?
Wasn’t he supposed to have gotten to the office by now?
“Okay,” She replied to Anthony and brought out her phone.
She stood from the table and moved a little away; she was planning to send him an email since it was the only way she had to contact him.
Before she could send the email, Anthony stopped her, “Ariel, don’t worry, he’s in the building; hurry up and prepare for the meeting; it’s starting soon,” he informed and ran out of the Cafeteria.
Ariel exchanged a look with Jewel, who immediately stood and grabbed her hand.
“Come on, or the elevator will get filled up,” He said and dragged her out of the Cafeteria.
As they approached the elevator, Ariel saw a few people already trooping into it, Jewel was right.
As they entered, she saw Eva also rushing toward the elevator and she realized that Aiden was about to have a meeting with the design department.
She sighed and stood quietly in the corner with Jewel.
The elevator closed and it started moving up.
Ariel knew trouble was coming when Eva suddenly turned to her, “Oh!
Hi Ariel.
If it’s not the company’s slut, planning to seduce Mr.
Chaz with that kind of dressing?” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Rosegold_n Hello, everyone.
