Aiden kissing Ariel in front of her hurt her more than the death of her biological parents.

Even if she wanted to be honest and apologize to him for what happened last night, with what she saw in the living room, she wasn’t going to be honest anymore.

“I hope I’m not interrupting something?” Viktor questioned.

Moon saw Ariel walking back to the living room and felt belittled.

Why does Ariel get to be treated like a full-grown woman while she gets treated like a little girl all the time?

Moon blinked slowly.

How about you tell us why you spiked Aiden’s drink last night?” Ariel asked seriously.

She knew Ariel didn’t have any evidence; she had already asked someone to delete the security footage of when she was spiking the drink, so why accept something she’d never be caught doing?

Aiden has been quiet, observing and listening to Moon.

If she agreed to it now, Aiden might decide to disown her, making her a stranger to him and the Chaz family; her reputation would be gone within a twinkle of an eye.
