Chapter 184: Let me feed you, Mr.
Woods Chapter 184: Let me feed you, Mr.
Woods “Well, if it’s such a problem, you can come up here during lunch, we’ll get food delivered, and I can feed you while you work.” He seemed sincere with his suggestion, while Kellen stared up at him, stunned.
The Captain of the Saturn Guild was offering himself up to feed him while Kellen worked? He knew that S Classes were crazy, but not that crazy!
“Aren’t you worried about your image?” Kellen asked hesitantly, not outright saying no since he did like the sound of this arrangement.
Rhys chuckled. “My image?
Did I come across as someone who was overly worried about that kind of thing?” Rhys asked in return, that little smirk on his lips that made Kellen swallow his tongue.
Kellen knew his gaze was on his lips, and swallowing, he forced his gaze up to his smirking gaze.
“Well, not quite, but I know Pamela is worried about it.” Kellen told him, and the Captain smiled down at him.
He poked Kellen’s nose. “She wouldn’t care about something like that, Kellen.
In fact, I think she’d prefer if word got out that you had so thoroughly tamed me.
I only worry about what kind of pressure that would put on you.
People would start to target you since you are my weakness.” Kellen opened his mouth to protest, until the word’s meanings washed over him.
Stunned, Kellen wasn’t sure what to say when the Captain raised his hand to cup his cheek, gently stroking his face with his thumb, a smile on his face. Kellen felt his head swim.
How on earth was he okay admitting that so easily?
Even if it was true, all Guides were considered their Esper’s weaknesses.
Anyone would assume that.
But an assumption was different from a confirmation. Yes, they had a press conference.
Yes, it looked like they were sickly in love with each other in that press conference.
But that wouldn’t mean that…others would think that they were…that he was the Captain’s weakness…right…?
“That would happen all from someone saying you fed me during lunch?” Kellen asked, his voice a little quiet.
The Captain nodded. “Well, probably not at first, but it’s easy for words to get twisted around here.
I’m sure once you agree to it, and we eat together tomorrow, by the evening word would have spread to the media that you had me on my hands and knees with a collar on as you forced me to feed you mouth to mouth.” What an imagination this man had.
Kellen felt his jaw drop, stunned, before he shook his head.
“I would never do that though.” Kellen protested.
Rhys’ arms tightened around Kellen when he didn’t push himself away from the Captain where he normally would do so. “I know you wouldn’t.
You’re not into that kind of play.
Not that I’m against it if you’re into it.” Kind of play?
What was that?
Some kind of sexual thing?

Kellen could never see him doing anything like that to the Captain!
There was no way that Kellen was going to put a leash and collar on the Captain, ever.
Even if he asked. Kellen huffed, annoyed. “As much as talking like this has been fun, this conversation has no point, since I’m going to be out of the Guild Tower tomorrow running around to different Guiding Centers.
But, I appreciate your concern, Rhys.” The Captain of the Saturn Guild, a man known for being a stoic, strong Esper who scared others because his eyes were too close to the colour of danger to most of humanity, pouted. “I won’t get to see you tomorrow at lunch then?
Awe, I was hoping for a midday recharge from my Kellen.” Finally too embarrassed by his words and actions, Kellen pushed out of his hold, his face warm. “I’m sorry.
You’ll have to wait till I get back from running around and we have our guiding session.
It’s even more important for me to leave now that Casper’s not allowed to guide.
I need to recruit new members, even if it’s temporary to save our remaining Guides.” The Captain stared at him, still pouting, and Kellen trembled.
He had to hold it together, and not show how much seeing that bottom lip stick out affected him. Rhys eventually sighed, putting his hands on his hips, and shook his head.
When he raised it, he had a smile on his face. “Fuck.
I hate that even now I find you pushing me away hot.
I’m a glutton for punishment, aren’t I?” Kellen felt his eyes go wide at the Captain’s words, and he jerked his head around the room, noticing as they all looked away from him.
This fucking man! He was spreading weird rumours again!
“Captain Thatcher!
What are you saying?
I would not-” Slamming his mouth closed before he could incriminate himself further, Kellen crossed his arms..
He stared at the Captain as his yellow eyes curled up and matched his smile.
It was clear the man was trying to play him like a fiddle, and if it had been the Kellen of two weeks ago, he absolutely would have. Unfortunately for him, now that Kellen had realised his feelings, he wasn’t going to fall for his traps as easily.
Or, he could set his own. He wasn’t feeling that conniving today though, so he’d just ignore it this time. “Hill, Gunther, message me if anything urgent pops up that Casper would normally handle.
I’ll deal with it.” Kellen told the two Lieutenants before turning on his heel and heading for the doors.
The Captain’s laughter followed after him. “No worries!
Have a good night Kellen!
When can I expect those cookies?” Hill called after him, and Kellen faltered in his steps as he processed her question. “Uh, probably in a few days.
I’ll be too busy to cook for a while as I get settled into the new schedule.” Kellen told her, glancing over his shoulder to find that Gunther had his arms crossed, watching him with an almost angry expression.
Hill was smiling as she waved at him, and the Captain was only a few steps behind him.
Hill calling out to him had given him enough time to catch up. The Captain grinned, slipping his arm around his waist, pulling Kellen close.
He pressed a kiss against Kellen’s hair, his grip on Kellen’s waist firm, but not painful.
It was a clear mark of possession though. “Okay.
Bye Kellen!” Flushing at how easily this man touched him, Kellen waved at the two Lieutenants before leaving the conference room. Rhys was easily able to keep pace with Kellen, which didn’t surprise him.
He shouldn’t have been surprised that he was humming happily next to him either.
If the Captain had control over the weather, he was sure that he would have a rainbow and sparkles glittering around him.
He was so happy to be able to hold Kellen like this, that Kellen didn’t even have the will to protest. He knew he needed to put his foot down, but at the same time, the Captain looked so happy.
He couldn’t burst his bubble in that way, and honestly, he loved seeing him this way.
He could already feel his iron grip on his harsh stance from before slipping. They took the elevator up on level before making their way past the A Class gym.
Kellen glanced inside, trying to see if he could see any of the usual members, including Gwen, but the new recruits weren’t in the gym at this time today.
It made some sense, since Gunther and Hill were in the conference room.
The Captain pressed another kiss against Kellen’s hair, making Kellen blush as they made it to the second set of elevators. The Captain didn’t try anything else, didn’t try to push it further, and a small part of Kellen was disappointed as they got to the Captain’s door.
Kellen extracted himself from him, a small part of him sad to separate from him, but knew he should give him space if he wanted it. Rhys smiled down at him, tilting Kellen’s face up to plant a soft, quick peck on his lips. “I’ll just change quickly and be over, alright?” Kellen blinked slowly, before his cheeks flushed and he was surprised by how happy he was to hear those words. “A-Alright.
You’ll give me enough time to change too, right?” The way the Captain’s lips curled up had Kellen’s heart racing in his chest. “I’ll be over soon.” He promised and Kellen watched as the door closed behind him.
It took Kellen a few seconds to realise what had happened, before he began to panic. Jerking, he ran to his apartment, shoving the door open.
He kicked off his shoes, not bothering to put on his slippers yet as he lined up his shoes before he began pulling off his clothes.
Racing up the stairs, he tossed everything into the hamper as soon as he got to his closet.
It was the fastest he’d ever taken off of his clothes, and he was still behind. He heard the Captain ringing the doorbell when he was still pulling on his pants. Grabbing a t-shirt, he shoved his feet into the slippers he had upstairs before he raced down the stairs, yanking his head through the hole on his t-shirt, not even aware of what he was wearing as he yanked the door open, his shirt half on.
His breath was coming in slight pants as he looked up at the smiling face of the impeccable put together Captain. “Awe, you don’t have to cover up for me, Mr.
Woods.
I would have enjoyed the show if you had let me watch.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS CalyB Kellen is really out here thinking that a man who wanted to kidnap him is cute, but considers a man who wants to take care of him as crazy.
