Chaos Devourer System - Chapter 172
Chapter 172: The Day Finally Arrives
A loud snore rang out in the room, where a white-haired young man could be seen sleeping on the sofa, with hundreds of books covering the entire seat he was on while on the table and the ground, the book reached a thousand.

The watch on his arm vibrated intensely as Zeras jumped up from his sofa landing on the ground with a thud.
“Ouch, damn alarm…” Zeras muttered under his breath as he balanced himself once again on the comfy seat when suddenly his eyes widened as he checked the content of the notification on his watch.

|You’re to arrive at the EIA port in the next hour for the Celestial Titans Cultivation Ruins expedition|
“What? So fast!!!” Zeras screamed out in shock as he jumped up from bed, bolting towards the bathroom with his fastest speed.

30 minutes later…
A figure could be seen standing in front of the mirror.
With neatly arranged and perfectly ironed uniform on his perfectly shaped body, a serious expression held on his feminine white face, and his handsome white hair blowing gently around his head.
“Tsk, Tsk, even I am jealous of such perfection…” Zeras muttered as he entered back into the living space.
Looking around at the perfectly arranged room with rows and rows of shelves containing millions of books with the word completed written at the top of each of the shelves.
A smile appeared on Zeras’ face as he breathed out with a satisfied and longing expression on his face.
This had been his new home for the last 45 days…
“Goodbye…” Zeras said snapping the door shut as he headed out to the lab but raised an eyebrow at the picture In front of him.
It was a long table dining table where, four people could be seen, with hundreds of food plates in front of them.
“Well, if it isn’t the sleepy-head genius…” Egon said looking at the boy In front of him who had a cursory glance on him as he looked at all of them.
“Will you just stand there, all day? I’m starving you know…” Annalise said as Zeras slowly moved towards the seat.
“So what’s the occasion?” Zeras asked curiously as he dug into the food.
“Well, it’s for your departure. It’ll take an entire week before you return you know. Honestly, I can’t fathom how I’ll live my entire life for an entire week without you…” Aurelia said as Zera’s face turned pink from the embarrassment.
“Here…” Instructor Moneca said as she passed Zeras three strange devices shaped like small circular buttons.
“Oh, what is this, A protection artifact?” Zeras asked looking at the buttons curiously, he could see the material it was made of and the slight energy emanating from deep within.
“Yes. It can create a dome of energy that can withstand an entire full-powered attack of a Peak Meteor rank stage expert. It should give you some moment to think about your next move In a dangerous situation.” Instructor Moneca explained.
“Wow. Thank you Instructor Moneca…” Zeras said with a smile.
“Don’t thank me. It was Annalise that made it…” Instructor Moneca replied as Zera turned to look at the figure opposite him in shock. Among the group, Annalise was the most wicked of them all, but never in his wildest imagination would he ever think that she’d give him a protective artifact.
“I…”
“Shut it… It is only a prototype…” Annalise said before he could say another word.

“I also have a small something for my brother…” Aurelia said as she suddenly brought out a small glass bottle in the shape of a perfume spray.
“Hmm, Arsenic-miodide and Sodium… Wait is that the simdial potion you’re talking about? You finally made it” Zeras screamed out in shock.
“Yeah, thanks to your help. So I thought you should be one of the first people to make use of it. Actually Zeras, the simdial potion is an invisibility potion. Just spray it all over and you’ll disappear into thin air. It wears off after 2 minutes though. But it is still a great time and you can apply it thrice before its effects are off…” Aurelia explained as a smile broke out on Zera’s face.
“Thank you, Sister Aurelia…”
“It’s what all sisters do….”
“Here I made a little something too for my apprentice…” Egon said as he brought a simple round piece of equipment, in the shape of a compass.
“This is a life tracker, able to detect all senses of life no matter how hidden in a 2 km radius. It will be incredibly important if you ever find yourself in a dangerous environment filled with unknowns…” Egon said as Zeras collected the small compass before dipping it in his pockets.
“Hey Egon, spit it out…” Instructor Moneca said to the gooey alien.
“Ok, ok, fine. Ahh, my precious artifact.” Evan said almost at the point of tears.
“Here, take it Zeras…” Egon said giving him an egg-shaped object but Zeras felt the covering which was even more denser than iron.
“Um, and what does this do?” Zeras asked curiously knocking on the egg in his palms.
“Just know it is my tenth most loved artifact on my treasure list. As for the use, find out yourself…” Evan said grudgingly.
DRIIIIIIIING
The vibration suddenly rang out as his watch vibrated intensely and Zeras looked at the notification that made him jump from his seat.
“Oops, less than ten minutes more. I have to go guys. Thank you for the gifts honestly. Now that I think of it, it is the first time I’ve been gifted so many things at once…”
“Goodbye Zeras and don’t die…” Instructor Moneca said as Zeras gave a reassuring nod before running towards the door.
“Hey, brother…” The feminine voice suddenly rang out as Zeras let go of the doorknob and turned backward where Aurelia was looking at him.
Zeras blinked his eyes and he felt himself being pulled into a soft bosom as he felt the tight hug once again.
“Don’t worry Aunt Aurelia. I’ll be back safely…” Zeras said as Aurelias slowly released him from her hold and Zeras gave one last look at the group before running off.

The gigantic spaceship with the emblem of the EIA could be seen In the far distance as Zeras ran as fast as he could soon appearing in front of it, where two EIA officials stood at the entrance of the footsteps.
“Zeras Celestria…” One of the officials voiced out to which Zeras gave a nod.
“Yes sir…”
The other official brought out a gun-like scanning machine as the blue waves of light passed by him from up to down before letting a single beep.
“You can go in…” Zeras gave a respectful bow to the Officials before climbing up the steps as he entered the spaceship arriving in a gigantic hall.
Five EIA officers sat at the top of the Dais, and Zeras remembered them to be the higher-ups who gave him the rewards in the first place.
“You’re five seconds late, though your Instructor has pleaded for you…” One of the higher-ups said, a burly man, who Zeras remembered almost killed him the last time.
“I’m sorry officers…”
“Don’t worry. We’re just here to give you some notes about the Expedition and also your mission…”
“My mission?”
