Chaos Devourer System - Chapter 398
Chapter 398: Drowning
HYROCHAOTIC MOLYN II
It was a chemical that Zeras had experimented on for a total of 6 months. Knowing well the challenges that would occur with entering the abyssal sea, he knew well he needed to find something that could fight against the corrosive property of the malevolent sea.
And after 5 months of intense research, he finally found the chemical. The chemicals kill off the corrosive properties of the sea and purify it. Knowing that, Zeras had made the entire spaceship have that chemical added to every of its structure.
But not only that, he added another chemical to it which usually explodes when it comes in contact with corrosive energy. Even the entire spaceship engines and remaining seats all carried bags of the explosives and Zeras purposefully dived the spaceship down into the malevolent sea.
Once he activated the destruct button, the spaceship exploded within the stomach of the fish and the chemical coming in contact with corrosive energy immediately resulted in explosions while the second chemical purified the corrosive energy which is not in line with the properties of the abyssal creatures and therefore made them quickly exit the area.
[Hmmm, that’s not bad actually…]
The system notification panel appeared in front of Zera’s face but he didn’t have time to even process what the system meant as the thrusters beneath his feet blazed furiously and a blue dome of energy covered his entire body, protecting him from being torn apart by the turbulent waves caused by the chaotic movements of the abyssal creatures.
Closing in towards the pit, Zeras grabbed a bottle out from his suit and immediately crushed it making the liquid splash on his entire body, and instantly, he faded away into nothing.
All the abyssal creatures walked inches past him, yet they couldn’t see him at all, and a smile couldn’t help but appear on his face.
“It was one of the gifts that were bestowed upon him by one of Instructor Moneca’s friends, Aurelia when he wanted to leave for the Celestial Titans ruins.
The Invisible potion that could make him go invisible. He had three and had used one in the Celestial Titans’ ground to run away from the bees that wanted to sting him to death, while another had been used during one of his missions. The last one, Zeras had kept for this particular moment.
Knowing well that he could be seen, he slowly swam down the pit as the ginormous creatures hurriedly tried exiting. There were times when they almost knocked him even though they couldn’t see him but with his Nano thrusters, he was able to easily avoid collision and the blue barrier that encased him was a protection artifact given to him by the EIA during the mission, and was said to be able to block an attack from a peak metro rank stage.
Right now, he was using all the treasures he had gathered, and that enabled him to keep traveling down the pit for the next 3 hours non-stop.
The invisibility potion had already worn off after some time, but there strangely weren’t any abyssal creatures deep within the pit greatly surprising him.
The place was entirely pitch black and he couldn’t even see his own body, yet he flashed forward with his thrusters nonetheless and simply extended downwards as far as he could.
2 more hours later…
And slowly Zera’s face began changing as the revolution of blood within his body began slowing down. And his hands slowly stiffened. His body was rapidly becoming cold and his head was beginning to feel fuzzy.
Even though his Nano suit enabled him to survive in the Cold corrosive sea, Zeras in absolute horror could begin feeling his Nano suit was starting to get corroded!
3 more hours…
The darkness was entirely pitch black at more than a thousand meters beneath the malevolent sea, but a red flame could still be seen burning brightly, and zooming onto it one could see it belonged to that of a thruster that pushed a body downwards.
A body that appears to be in deep slumber.
Have you ever drowned before?
An unending descent into the cold water, back facing the ground and hands flying behind, slowly one loses control of everything, and slowly, they go away, their thoughts closing, their eyes snapping to a close of absolute darkness and slowly everything grows quiet, never again to be found and the existence slowly disperses.
A death by drowning is a calm death, once a person gives up all the struggles. Then is a bliss that would last for a long while and in which most never wake up.
That was the state Zeras was in. A state of bliss as his thrusters kept pushing him downwards. His Nano suits have been reduced to a shell of their past, barely standing on their edge and protecting his tissues from also getting corroded away
The spine-biting coldness had disappeared, and it had become the most beautiful experience to him as he lay floating in the darkness.
“Come…come to me…Sink in deeper…” The voice echoed out to Zeras, like the words of a soothing mother to her dear infants and he also sank in into it.
Peaceful. Absolute peace was the words that could describe what he was feeling right now…
But it was just like the word. It was a natural law of the universe that he had slowly begun comprehending after all the struggles.
And that Is that nothing ever last long. One can only embrace the flame for as long as it burns because it won’t always burn forever…

“He is the most handsome of all men in Takamahagara…” The gentle feminine voice echoed out to his ears from within the pitch-black darkness. It was a voice, incredibly far away and more of a whisper.
“Hahaha, You’re right my love. He is the son of I, Raymond, the Guardian of Takamahagara, and you, Miara, the truest descendant of the everchanging. Truly, he is the most of talented of all men in Takamahgara…” The masculine voice echoed out, its boisterous voice stirring him away from the slumber.
“Father, mother…” The words echoed out from the young man’s lips as he descended into the abyss.
