Chapter 38: Second Date
Rory
I was meeting up with Trevor again, a week after our first meetup at that restaurant which ended with me leaving on the guise of no longer being interested since he didn’t trust me.
At this point, I’ve managed to save up more money, I’ve been able to shop for myself a little. Which means tonight, I was more dolled up than I was a week ago.
Trevor instantly noticed and he showered me compliments as I expected.
I kept my phone in the same position as last time, knowing he wouldn’t dare touch it tonight. But little did he know that I was recording the entire conversation we’d be having today.
“So, is Ra–”
“You’re about to ask about my wife again? Can we not? I’m mainly here because I don’t want to think about her.” He lamented and I leaned forward, making my expression appear concerned.
“Oh, my. Did something happen between you two?” I asked softly and he sighed before throwing his drink back.
“Not that. It’s just that… it’s tiring, you know? Being with someone you aren’t that attracted to.” He admitted and internally, I began to curse him out.
“Why aren’t you attracted to her? Aren’t you in love with her?” I asked and he grimaced.
“That’s a strong word, but I love the family I have with her, our little Miranda.”
“What about Raya herself? You don’t love her?”
He shook his head. “Not like that, but I definitely like her as a friend.” He revealed and on Raya’s behalf, I felt extremely hurt.
“Why did you get married to her knowing this?” I asked, carefully keeping my anger from showing in my voice.
“To start up a family. I know male omegas can’t get pregnant so I knew I could never end up with one.” He leaned forward this time. “If I knew who you were in the past, along with the fact that you could get pregnant, I’d have definitely got married to you instead.”
Oh wow. He’s a grade A asshole.
“But then you’d have still been cheating on me if they had happened, like you’re currently about to do to Raya.” I blurted out, and then I winced, fearing that I had given my true intention away. But it flew over his head seeing as he reached out to take my hand into his.
“No, Rory. Never. If I had married you, you’d be able to fully satiate me, I’m so sure of it. Unlike Raya who’s so… boring in bed.” His tone was bitter at the end and I gently pulled my hand out of his grasp, while my mind traveled back to Jason.
I had been completely inexperienced that night, but he ended up rocking my whole world with his monster cock that night. That’s the reason why I’m currently pregnant and rejected.
Jason is an asshole like other alphas.
I shoved the image of his face out of my mind after that.
“Have you tried showing how you want things done in the bedroom? Telling her what to do and all.” I asked because that was exactly what Jason did that night. I hadn’t even known how to present but he had shown me how.
Thinking about that made my cheeks pink up a little and I sipped on my drink to cool my thoughts.
“I don’t have the time and energy for that.” He drawled out, waving a waiter over. We placed in our orders and the waiter left almost immediately.
“So, Rory… back to us.” He wiggled his eyebrows a little before continuing.
“I’m a man of my words. I meant it when I said I wanted you, and that I’d also make it worth your while. Since I purposely ruined your friendship with Raya because I knew she’d believe anything I say, as payment like I told you after she threw you out… I’m ready to put you on a monthly salary.”
I was beyond glad that he had just said the entire thing he did with his own mouth, because they’re now all recorded and would end up getting sent to Raya.
“Really? How much? I asked after our food arrived. He waved his fork at me as he spoke.
“You name it.”
I didn’t hesitate this time.

“$50,000 a week.” I announced and he was clearly taken aback.
“Aw, c’mon. You know I’m not that loaded.” He reminded me and I concealed an eyeroll.
“$10,000 a week then.” I offered and he shook his head slowly.
“How about $5000? That’s $20,000 a month. That’s cool cash. You wouldn’t have to work anymore like I assured you.” He reminded me and I laughed a little.
“You’re cool with spending this amount on me monthly?”
“Of course. You’re worth every penny.” He instantly assured me and I flashed him a grin, feeling beyond grossed out on the inside.
“So, how would we be meeting…?” I asked and his eyes lit up.
“At my favorite hotel, my driver will always come pick you up. We can meet up twice a week, or three times… since I’m paying you handsomely.” He winked at the end of his sentence and I had to resist the urge to flee from this table right now.
“$5000 isn’t a handsome payment.” I told him and he grinned.
“That’s minus gifts, Rory. I’m gonna shower you with a lot of them. You’ll never regret agreeing to this.” He assured me and I nodded while picking at my food.
“Okay, Trevor.”

Trevor kept to his words. He sent me $5000 the next day, and then he sent me a text reminding me to be ready for him by this time he’d be back from his trip.
Which means I have a few days to gather all collected evidence, send them to Raya, return Trevor’s money to him and tell him to stay the hell away from me.
Or perhaps I could send the money to Raya as proof of the money her husband sent to me, so she could use it to do anything she wanted.
Which is better?
