“It’s probably not important.” He offered but before he could continue to get my shorts off, the phone began to ring again and I bit on my bottom lip as I pressed a hand against his forehead before his lips could connect with the jut of my hips again.

“Kenny… we should definitely take that.” I panted out and he let out a reluctant sigh as he forced himself to his feet, appearing like it was physically hurting him to not be touching me right now. And it was probably hurting because his dick was tenting his pants as he went off to see to the phone.

I let out a long exhale and tugged my shorts up, feeling like the biggest slut ever.

Kenny arrived moments later with the phone still ringing, and a frown maring his beautiful face.

“It’s Grandma Nini.” He explained and my eyes widened in surprise while I silently wondered if something was wrong.

My guess was proven to be correct after I answered the phone and a male voice spoke on the other side, asking if I was Rory.

After I confirmed my identity, the stranger informed me that Nini had a heart attack last night and is currently in the hospital. Since I was a part of her emergency contact, they decided to put a call through to me. In the past few years, I had grown even closer to her, which explains why she put me as a part of her emergency contacts.

“Alright. Thank you for calling. I’ll be on my way.” I responded to the stranger and the call ended after that.

As I broke the news to Kenny, I wasn’t surprised by how broken he looked as well because we had all grown to love and adore Grandma Nini.

A bunch of flowers were in Kenny’s arms and I held some essentials in my own hand as Kenny and I made our way to the top of the hospital floor where Grandma Nini was being treated. This was a top hospital and since grandma Nini was rich, she could afford it effortlessly.

On getting to the room, we were let into it almost immediately. Kenny walked off to drop the flowers at the other side of the room and a frown pinched my forehead on noticing that someone was sitting in the chair beside the bed grandma Nini was laying in. There was no white coat in sight, so it wasn’t the doctor.

Before I could say a word, the person began to turn around, a tight expression across his face. The word I was about to say hooked in my throat as soon as my eyes locked with the person’s, and I instantly realized who it was.
