Chronicles of Forgotten Extra - Chapter 37
Chapter 37: Yandere???
Chapter 37: Yandere???
Somewhere within the world of Eryndor, in a vast forest.
A girl suddenly stepped out of thin air.
Her head was covered in a mask…making it difficult to see any of her features.
Even her eyes were covered, making one wonder how she could even see through it.
Her body was well proportioned..
She had tight clothing that looked more like a battle suit than normal cloths.
She looked around for a while to see where she was.
All she saw were tall green trees.
She quickly understood where she was.
“Finally,” she whispered, her voice trembling as excitement and relief coursed through her.
“I’m here at last.” But before she could celebrate her joy properly, a frenzy of blue screens popped in front of her.
[A FOREIGN ENTITY DETECTED] [INITIATING ELIMINATION OF THE FOREIGN ENTITY] [FAILED…] [TRYING AGAIN] [FAILED] [THE ENTITY POSSESSES THE FRAGMENT OF ????] [ACTIVATING SUPPRESSION] [SUPPRESSION SUCCESSFUL] [THE ENTITY’S REALM HAS BEEN SUPPRESSED TO MINIMUM RANK POSSIBLE] [INTEGRATING THE FOREIGN ENTITY WITHIN THE WORLD’S POWER SYSTEM] [INTEGRATION SUCCESSFUL] ======[DISPLAYING STATUS]======= [NAME – ???] [AGE – 17] [MANA CORE RANK – BEGINNER NOVICE (SUPPRESSED)] [TITLES – ANOMALY ] [POTENTIAL- ???] [SWORD ART – ???] [MANA TOME – ???] [SUPREME ABILITY – ???] [STATS] [STR†’ G-] [AGI†’ G-] [VIT†’ G-] [INT†’ G-] [END†’G-] ======================== “What the hell?” she muttered, staring at the status screen in disbelief.
Her fingers twitched, frustration flashing through her calm demeanor.
“It seems my strength has been sealed to the lowest possible level.” “Well, I can’t say anything about it after all systems are the defensive mechanism of the worlds after all.” She quickly calmed herself.
“I’ll just have to increase my realm again.” “But looking at the mana density of this world, I feel like it will take a while,” she whispered slightly with a sigh.
She scanned the status window again seeing some difference from the system window she knew.
‘The ranking system here feels primitive compared to what I’m used to.’ She analyzed looking at her rank.
Before she could analyze anything else, she heard a faint rustling sound as some ugly green-colored monsters appeared in her sight.
She looked at the goblins calmly, not even panicking.
Her eyes quietly scanned their numbers.
“These pests are everywhere…” She spoke in annoyance as her soft but melodious voice flowed out.
“Do they think I’m some kind of prey just because my rank is low currently?” Just as she said those words, a huge greatsword twice her size materialized in her hand.
The greatsword was made up of some otherworldly metal that flickered in different colours.
It had some intricate runes etched on its surface.
She swung it a few times to get used to her reduced strength.
Her movements were smooth as her strike sliced through the air with ease.
The goblins that had looked at her with hungry eyes before now looked alert.
They didn’t wait anymore as they lunged at her.

Some attacked her with daggers, whereas some were firing arrows from afar.
But just before their attack could connect with her, she vanished…
without a trace.
“It seems my teleportation range has also shrunk.” She muttered in a cold voice as she reappeared in front of goblin rangers who were attacking her from afar.
The goblins looked shocked, but before they could react, she swung her greatsword effortlessly, making it seem light.
The greatsword sliced through the air with precision.
In an instant, the heads of all the goblin rangers rolled around the ground as their lifeless bodies collapsed in unison.
After finishing off all the long-range attackers, she looked at the other goblins who were already closing in on her.
But this time she didn’t swing her sword but slightly swiped her hand.
The necks of all goblins were sliced cleanly as a slight distortion appeared around their neck.
The distortion seemed as if the very fabric of space around it was sliced.
She could have finished them easily without even the sword, but she just wanted to test her strength.
“Where should I find him?” She muttered, standing in the center of some unknown jungle.
“According to information I have, he will be entering some famous academy this year within a human empire named ‘The Vallorian Empire’.” ‘I’ll have to get into that academy somehow.
But how will I know who he is?’ She couldn’t help but think, recalling her vague mission ‘Well, I’ll see that when I get there.’ She thought as she disappeared within the trees, finding her way out of this forest.
________________________ Somewhere else in a dark room within the Vallorian Empire… The room was dimly lit with only the light of the moon shining from the window illuminating the room a bit.
A figure of a girl could be seen seated on a chair; her face covered in shadows.
She held a small knife glinting ominously in her hand. The girl just played with the knife, but she suddenly stopped as if remembering something as she took out a letter.
She seemed to scan the letter for a while.
“Hehehe.” A laughter suddenly echoed within the room… “We’ll meet soon, my love.” She muttered, her words dripping with twisted affection.
“And…and this time nobody will dare to snatch you away from me.” She spoke, her voice seemed almost on the verge of insanity.
“I’ll make sure of it.” “You belong to me and only me..” She spoke as her grip on the knife tightened..
“So just wait for a while…
my dear Damien,” she whispered, her voice laced with longing and anticipation of seeing her loved one.
________________________ Within the Draven family, inside a large training ground, Alden was swinging his sword in fluid movements.
His body suddenly shivered slightly feeling some discomfort which vanished as soon as it appeared.
‘What was that?’ He thought before quickly dismissing not finding anything wrong with himself.
It had been 5 days since his duel.Nothing much has happened in this time except the apology incident.
In this time he had found out that Cedric had left the Vallorian Empire, apparently.
He had gone to Sylvaran.
Sylvaran was the continent of the Elves.
It is renowned for its elegant cities and its unmatched mastery over magic.
According to what Alden heard, his father had approved Cedric’s admission to Lunara Academy.
Lunara Academy was one of the best academies in the Sylvaran continent, and they rarely give admission to other species, but it seems father had used some connections to get him admission there.
Alden was lost in his thoughts when he heard a sudden ding sound… [ALL THREE ABILITIES MERGED SUCCESSFULLY] [SUPREME ABILITY CREATED SUCCESSFULLY] [DO YOU WISH TO AWAKEN THE SYSTEM ABILITY IMMEDIATELY?] Alden looked at the screen that popped up, dumbfounded….
He’d been so focused on his training that he forgot today was the day of his Supreme Ability Awakening.
He quickly looked around himself.
There was no one present in the training ground, but he knew the training ground was not a place for something this important.
Whatever happened during the awakening, he couldn’t risk anyone witnessing it or, even worse, interrupting it.
So he immediately stopped his training as he started walking back to his room with quick steps.
He soon entered his room with light but excited feet.
He has already notified Alice to not let anyone enter or disturb him until he came out of the room himself.
He took a deep breath, calming himself before focusing and affirming the system to awaken his supreme ability.
“Let’s see what I’ve got,” he muttered, his voice trembling slightly.
Alden rarely allowed himself to feel so much excitement, but this moment was different.
His pulse quickened as a new screen popped before him.
