Chapter 111: Chapter 110- Carnage(End)
[Hazir’s POV:]
It was horror.
I have seen numerous fighters all my life.
Those whom I remember always left a remarkable impression on me through their battle wits and unfaltering courage.
As a Prince and someone who would be inheriting the throne in a few years, I also have gone through numerous battles in the past.
However, none of them was anything as gruesome and horrifying as this one.
The three-headed demon, which was overwhelming our forces, and later me and the black-haired boy, was currently getting overwhelmed.
The beast that rose from the Hellstain was a force of nature that I thought we would never be able to defeat.
At one point, I thought we had already lost the battle when the main force of resistance, the strange boy, was stabbed by the demon.
I thought it was the end.
…until the boy suddenly radiated a strange aura which made me step back in terror. An aura that was too eerie and profound for a human. It almost felt like, I was standing before two beasts.
However, soon I realized that I was comparing completely incomparable beings.
“B-Brother…” My younger brother, Tarvy, had a pale complexion as he saw the boy easily parrying all the attacks that the demon threw at him. And in return, the retaliation sent tremors through the ground. Making it feel unbelievable that it was the same boy who was struggling alongside me a moment ago.
‘What in the world is he…’
….
As Hazir expressed, the beast was getting overwhelmed by a human.
The ground shook as the massive demon, once unstoppable, now struggled to keep up.
Austin didn’t speak. He didn’t shout. He moved without hesitation, his actions cold and precise.
One of the demon’s heads lunged at him, jaws wide open, ready to tear him apart. But before it could bite down, CRACK—Austin’s fist struck with terrifying force, shattering its teeth. Broken fangs scattered across the ground.
The second head spewed black fire, engulfing him in flames. But when the fire cleared, Austin stood there, untouched. The flames had done nothing. The demon hesitated.
That slight pause was all Austin needed.
In an instant, he was in front of the second head. He grabbed one of its sharp canines and SNAP—twisted it clean off. The demon barely had time to scream before he slammed it into the ground so hard the earth split beneath it.
The demon thrashed, trying to fight back, but Austin was faster. A claw strike? He dodged and crushed the arm before it could reach him. A tail swing? He grabbed it and slammed the demon into the ground with its own strength. Every attack it tried only made things worse.
Then, without a sound, Austin leaped high into the air. The wind howled as he came down, his fist slamming into the demon’s body.
BOOM!
The ground split apart. A shockwave tore through the battlefield. The massive creature lay still, broken, and defeated.
Austin’s cold eyes looked down upon the demon, his hand raised before his Shard appeared in his hand.
Once a small dagger was now coated in lightning
Austin’s body began to levitate, much like a God—ready to make the judgment.
The demon thrashed and tried to move away since its instincts loudly screamed about the danger.

However, Austin has left the demon completely tattered and broken as he continues to levitate until he becomes one with the dark skies.
His Shard devoured the lightning that crashed from the sky, drinking in its fury like a starving beast. His entire body pulsed with an eerie glow, flickering between brilliance and shadow.
His eyes—once dark and human—were now empty voids, stripped of all emotion. They no longer held pupils and no longer reflected life. Instead, they burned like twin full moons, cold, distant, and unnerving, as if something far beyond human was staring back.
The demon trembled, its head shaking and body convulsing under the sheer display of strength and brutality.
Hazir and others have long stepped away from the calamity that seemed far more dangerous than the mutt.
*CRACKLE*
Austin twisted his body, and the Shard, now more like a thunderbolt, held behind his body.
A moment of pause and then—
**BOOOOOOOOM**
—devastation befell.

[A few moments ago]
Valerie was having a hard time fighting against the demon.
She was restricted from using the spell she recently discovered while fighting the Monkey. She was told by the Headmaster that if the Union Council got to know about it, Valerie would be forced to serve the Council.
‘This can’t go for long…I need to help him!’
Valerie lunged forward, her spear coated in a thick layer of frost, aiming straight for the demon’s chest. But in a blink—WHOOSH—the demon vanished, reappearing behind her.
She twisted just in time. CLANG! Her spear met the demon’s claws, the force sending shockwaves rippling through the air. Ice spread from her weapon, but the demon teleported again, dodging the creeping frost.
BOOM!
A sudden explosion of wind sent dust flying as the demon reappeared above her, claws glowing with dark energy. It slashed down—CRACK—splitting the ground where Valerie had stood a moment ago. But she was gone.
SHING!
A blinding arc of ice shot from her spear, slicing toward the demon. It barely teleported away in time, but not fast enough to avoid the freezing air—its arm stiffened for a split second. That was all she needed.
Valerie surged forward. BAM! She drove her spear straight into its ribs, ice exploding from the point of impact. The demon snarled and teleported mid-air, shaking off the frost just as Valerie spun around, already predicting its next move.
The instant it appeared again—WHOOSH—a barrage of icicles rained toward it. The demon zipped through the attack, flickering in and out of sight, but Valerie kept up, her spear spinning faster than the eye could track.
BOOM!
They clashed again. The force cracked the earth, sending waves of broken stone outward. Valerie’s spear lashed out, aiming for its heart. The demon teleported at the last moment, appearing inches from her face.
“As I thought, you are strong.” The demon praised, a wild grin lifting the edges of its lips.
Valerie’s eyes were devoid of any emotion as she raised her hand to punch the demon.
However, just inches away from the target, she felt it.
**BOOOOOOOM**
Both the demon and the human sides were shaken up by the explosion that occurred near the palace.
The explosion shook the core of the nation and illuminated the whole capital.
The waves of energy can shake up one belief in continuing the battle.
A devastating blow, enough to threaten two S-ranks.
The whole capital of Drenovar saw it…the dawn of destruction.
