Chapter 1149: The Strongest In the Neverfall Clan (Part 2)
The higher the tier of weapons created, the stronger the curse would be, and if there was one person that could confirm that, it would be Dame himself.
Previously, he had been given cursed weapons to use from the Dark Magus. It might not have been so difficult for others, but it was somewhat for Dame.
Being treated as an outcast of the family, Dame had spent very little time in the Neverfall Clan base itself.
Instead, he spent his time in the city of Repton, being a frequent customer of the various brothels that were around.
At times, his handsome looks and his way with words would be enough to draw a lady into the bedroom, but his reputation had gotten so bad that the brothels were the only place he could achieve a particular type of pleasure.
Which was why his previous curse of the weapon destroying itself if he ever had entertained the idea of being pleasured was one that was difficult for him.
At least he thought so in the beginning. Due to the creation of the weapons, he had achieved his first victory, and Dame was able to see a path he had always dreamed of.
The world and life he loved before it felt like another person, and the curse of the gauntlets allowed him to see that all of these pleasures he indulged himself in before were just distractions.
He was fine with it, until he had received the new upgraded legendary tier gauntlets. When Raze had explained the curse to him, he was at a crossroads because this wasn’t something that would be temporary.
[The user who uses these gauntlets will be cursed for eternity]
There was no way to escape it. If Dame wanted to use its powers, if he wanted to help the Dark Magus and achieve everything he wanted, he had to pay a large sacrifice.
[The user will become sexually impotent]
Dame could read between the lines. The curse was a true curse for him, but he had his fun, he had his life.
Maybe through the marvel of technology, he could still enjoy life with a family. If he didn’t take this now, he would constantly live a life of regret.
Right now, he believed face to face with Garlon, he had made the right decision.
“You think just because you have powerful items they will save you?” Garlon said with a smile as he raised his hand and then flung it down.
Dame went to grab the attack, but he could feel that he had grabbed nothing but the air.
Before he knew it, the floor had broken apart, and large parts of debris went flying towards his face.
Using his arms, he could hit and break through the rocks, but right after, he felt a large hit on his chest.
The air around him exploded, and it felt like he was being pushed back. His body was flung in the air, while part of his clothing and part of the skin on his chest had ripped.
“Right, you hybrids have stronger bodies than humans. Why do I seem to be always going up against those that are difficult!” Garlon continued to swipe his hands in the air.
These weren’t the same spatial attacks as before, but just appeared as air swipes. Each time, Dame was grabbing them.
And when he had grabbed a few, he even decided to use his own Qi to hurl back the force right at Garlon.
The strike was seen cutting through the floor, and Garlon had to push off with his feet. Wind blasted from the bottom of his soles, and he could move quite fast and swiftly.
Almost just as fast as a talented middle-stage warrior.
“You know you trust those gauntlets of yours far too much,” Garlon claimed. “You should know where I am from, I’m from Alterian, a place that has hundreds of items like the ones that you have. Yet, I am the only Deleter that doesn’t use any such item at all, because my strength has been more than enough.”
Garlon swung his hands furiously again, and just like before, Dame made an effort to try and catch the attacks.
Only Garlon knew this would be the case, so he had expanded the space before it reached him. This wouldn’t be a vital or a one-shot kill like he usually used his magic, but it would still cause significant damage.
The space expanded right before Dame could grab it, and it pushed his hand back. Several of the attacks expanded, hitting different parts of his body.
It had pushed his legs, pushed his arms, and Dame was skidding all over the place. Out of frustration, Dame tried to shoot webbing from his mouth to hit Garlon and make him stay still.

However, some type of wind barrier appeared to be around Garlon, and it was thrown off course.
‘He doesn’t quite use his Wind magic like Raze. When Raze uses it, he does so with overwhelming power, and that makes the magic quite visible, but in this case, all of his attacks are impossible to see, and it’s the same with the defense.’
Garlon continued to throw out his attacks, and they were hitting different parts of Dame’s body. Even with his hybrid form, they were getting through, and piercing his skin, causing him to bleed.
Eventually, he would lose out, and having seen what Garlon was capable of, for some reason he wasn’t using large strikes like he had done before.
“I told you, he can’t win, even if he is stronger than before!” Fing said. “Little girl, you’re better off healing him than us.”
Dame suddenly jumped back, and stopped pushing forward, and when he landed, he started to bang his two gloves together.
“You said these weapons are useless?” Dame said. “I told you already, I haven’t shown you what they can do.”
With one hand lifted in the air, the dark purple essence spewed out from the palm of the gauntlet, it came rushing down to the ground, and a strange image began to appear.
Immediately, Safa had dropped her spear, for she couldn’t believe her eyes.
