Chapter 450: New Dragon Form’s (Part.I)
“I must admit… that’s quite a curious scene…” Strax murmured, his deep voice lost between the sound of the cutting wind and the distant rustling of colossal wings. “…Frightening, but wonderful at the same time.”

He was standing on a rocky ridge, his hands on his hips, observing the scene in front of him with a mixture of awe and pride. After having an intimate time with Samira that quiet morning, Strax had decided to take a brief escape from the castle. Something inside him, an instinct perhaps, had driven him to go to where his wives were

As soon as he decided to leave the castle, Frieren was waiting for him. With an enigmatic smile, she simply said… “They’ve gone north to the Abode of the Spirits. They’re training.”

Strax arched an eyebrow. “That’s it? No details?”

Frieren just shrugged. “Go and see for yourself.”

Now he understood the reason for the mystery.

In front of him, stretching across the frozen field like a living, flaming wall… were them. His women. His empresses. But not in their human forms.

They were in their true draconic forms.

Above the training ground, hovering with an almost celestial lightness, Beatrice glided as if she were a natural extension of the sky. Her draconic form was long and slender, clearly inspired by oriental dragons – serpentine, elegant, graceful.

Its pink scales shimmered like sakura petals in the morning light, sometimes smooth as silk, sometimes reflecting the light in flashes of liquid silver. Thin, curved horns sprouted from its head like the branches of an ancient cherry tree, giving it a mystical, serene appearance.

But despite the almost ethereal beauty, there was a fierce force running beneath that shimmering skin.

Tiny rays of pink electricity constantly snaked through her body – living lines of energy that crackled like contained thunder, crackling at the tips of her claws, in the curves of her tail that snaked through the air, and around her long draconic whiskers that wiggled like mana-laden antennae.

She didn’t just fly – she floated as if she commanded the very flow of wind and light. It was pure electric poetry, alive and impossible to ignore.

Then the roar came.

ROOOOOOOAAAAARRRRRR!

It was like the crack of a world breaking in half.

Strax turned quickly, his eyes searching for the source of that abyssal sound – and found Monica, in her Western dragon form.

If Beatrice was a dance of subtle electricity and spiritual beauty… Monica was thunder itself incarnate.

The dragon that emerged from the low clouds was gigantic, and the air around her body vibrated as if time hesitated to touch her. Its form was as white as celestial ivory, but between each scale flowed veins of pure energy – vivid, blue-white rays that intertwined in chaotic, marvelous patterns.

Its body shone with every movement. The mere flapping of her wings created electric shockwaves, the sky behind her already beginning to cloud over with wild lightning, even in broad daylight.

And then there were the wings.

Four in all – two large and broad, like those of a winged archdemon, with semi-translucent membranes that pulsed with solar energy. And two smaller ones, stiffer and shorter, like the stabilizers of a being born to dominate the skies. The wings didn’t flap – they resounded, and with each beat, electrical discharges ripped through the sky.

Monica’s gaze, now filled with incandescent irises, met Strax’s from afar.

“You must have had a lot of fun.”

The voice echoed through the sky like soft thunder, laden with an ironic, almost feline tone – before Strax could even react, a colossal impact shook the ground around him.

A red dragon had landed next to him.

No, the red dragon.

Scarlet.

She was huge. Her body cast a shadow over the entire clearing, eclipsing even the partly cloudy sky. Compared to Monica – who was already a colossus of the skies – Scarlet was double in size, presence and intensity.

Her ruddy scales looked as if they had been forged in the heart of an active volcano, each glistening with deep crimson hues, as if they hid liquid lava pulsing beneath the surface. The chest, as pure white as polished marble, contrasted with the flaming body, emanating an almost divine nobility.

Titanic wings stretched out with absolute authority, their every movement creating swirls of wind and sparks that evaporated the surrounding dust. Its claws, long and slightly curved, dug into the ground with predatory elegance.

Its eyes – two scarlet suns – fixed on Strax with a glint that mixed dominance, curiosity and a hint of wild affection.

Strax, far from being intimidated, just smiled.

He didn’t see a monstrous beast. He saw his empress.

“Do you like how your new body looks?” he asked, his voice firm but charged with sincere admiration.

Scarlet tilted her gigantic head slightly, her long neck curving with feline grace. The flames at the corners of her mouth calmed down, and for a moment, she just watched him – as if assessing whether he was still worthy of her gaze.

Then a hot cloud of steam escaped from her nostrils, accompanied by an almost imperceptible smile on the scales of her muzzle.

“You have no idea,” she replied, her voice now softer, but still with the weight of an ancient queen.

“Don’t try to monopolize him.” The voice cut through the air like a blade of ice, deep and firm, echoing around the clearing as if the sky itself had spoken.

Strax and Scarlet turned instinctively – and the ground shook once more.

Another colossal dragon emerged from between the trees, gliding with majestic, predatory grace. Its body was long, serpentine and magnificent – an oriental dragon, just like Beatrice… but the difference was immediately obvious.

This new figure was twice as big. A titan among titans.

Cassandra.

Its body snaked through the air with hypnotic fluidity, as if it were swimming through the wind itself. Her pale blue scales, as translucent as cut crystal, reflected the sunlight with an ethereal glow – every curve of her body shimmered like an iceberg under the aurora borealis.

But it was in the details that its magnificence was fully revealed.

The horns – two long, elegant spikes curving upwards – seemed to be forged from absolute black crystal, gleaming like living obsidian. They emanated a faint icy mist, as if absorbing the heat from the surrounding air. Strands of freezing energy ran down their tips, trembling like ice lightning.

If Beatrice was a divine and delicate vision, Cassandra was a deity of war, a dragon god made of ice and steel.

Her eyes – deep, cold, glowing sapphire – stared at Strax with fierce intensity.

There was no jealousy… there was vindication.

Scarlet let out a low, hot growl, the flames around his chest rekindling with slight intensity. The air between them began to sizzle, like steam about to explode.

Strax, in the middle, let out a low laugh.

“Someone woke up in a bad mood…”
