Demonic Pornstar System - Chapter 117
Chapter 117: Police Interrogation
An entire task force entered the room, with riot shields, assault rifles, shotguns, and all the good stuff.
“Don’t say anything! I’ll solve everything! If you’re questioned, demand a lawyer! Never speak with the police without an attorney present!” Kaiden shouted his instructions so all the women could hear him perfectly well, which earned him threatening growls from multiple police officers.
They allowed themselves to be placed in handcuffs—well, only Kaiden did; the others couldn’t fight back even if they wanted to. They were quickly escorted to the police station.
Thankfully, Kaiden had at least enough time to cancel his timed message to Aria. The girls were likely in the middle of their gym session, he didn’t want to scare them needlessly.
…
“My name is Detective Montgomery, the lead detective of your case,” a man grunted as he sat down in front of Kaiden in the isolated interrogation room he was dragged to. “To start, let me read you your rights.”
“No need to,” Kaiden said nonchalantly.
“I’m afraid I must do so. My hands are tied by the words written in the hefty book I rested my hand on while I swore my oath,” the officer replied.
“I want to have a phone call with someone.”
“With whom?”
“My mother.”
“…” The detective hesitated for a second. Kaiden was not technically under arrest yet, so Montgomery wasn’t obligated to let him make a call.
“If I can’t have my call, then I’ll ask for a lawyer.”
Kaiden’s declaration made Montgomery curse inwardly. He didn’t understand why this cold-blooded murderer would want to have a phone call with someone who was not his lawyer. Did he seriously want to have a final call with Mommy before getting officially charged with multiple first-degree murders?
However, if the young man called for a lawyer, then this questioning would end immediately, so letting him make a phone call was the better option. Maybe hearing his mommy’s sweet voice would make him want to confess without trouble. Many such cases happened during his long career.
“Sure, lad. Whatever makes you comfortable. Here, use mine,” he nodded and handed his cell phone over. “But you’ll have to put it on speaker mode.”
Kaiden grabbed it and dialed his mother’s secret private number that only a few people had the privilege of knowing.
“Yes?” Vespera Ashborn picked up immediately.
“It’s me. I need your help.”
“Why?”
“I killed some people.”
“Why?”
“They were the kind of people who forced women to get addicted to drugs and sell themselves for mere pittances.”
“I’ll take care of it.”
“Make sure you help the women as well. They were detained alongside me.”
Vespera put the phone down as an answer to his last comment. Montgomery looked at him with wide, shocked eyes. Did he just confess to his crimes in an interrogation room where his conversation was being recorded? In front of the lead detective of his case?!
However, he was a professional, so he managed to gather his bearings. He needed to gather as much information from the suspect as possible to make his conviction a homerun victory in court—though it already was a done-and-dusted case, as far as he was concerned.
“May I read your rights now?” he asked and received a disinterested shrug. “Sure thing, man.”
A vein bulged on the detective’s forehead due to this young man’s uncaring attitude, but he completed reading his rights. It was time to ask his questions.
“Let’s backpedal a bit, shall we? Tell me what you were doing yesterday.”

“I cooked an amazing meal and then had a lengthy foursome with my harem of extreme beauties.”
Hearing such obvious lies infuriated the detective. “Listen, lad, this is no joking matter! Multiple people lie dead in their own pool of blood! Do you have an idea how much trouble you’re in? If you show the right attitude, the judge might treat you with more consideration for your young age. You might not have to die in prison, spending your elder years as a free man.” Montgomery wanted to take a friendly attitude with this criminal, but that was evidently not going to work, so he quickly switched gears.
Kaiden nonchalantly leaned back in his chair despite the detective’s heavy threats, and when the phone started ringing, a knowing smirk erupted on his features. “I think you should pick your phone up, detective.”
Montgomery cursed annoyedly for being interrupted during interrogation, but he started frowning when he saw a government number. He didn’t recognize it.
He hastily picked it up. “Yes? Detective Sergeant Montgomery speaking.”
His features immediately paled once the caller introduced himself. He couldn’t help but stammer out in disbelief, “C-C-Chief of Staff?!”
The Chief of Staff was the president’s right-hand man, making it arguably the second most influential position in the governing body of the United States of America.
Montgomery was a mid-level detective, he had never conversed with such an important man before. Hell, he hadn’t even laid his eyes on one throughout his entire life!
His shock only grew to new heights when the Chief of Staff started shouting at him with so much strength in his voice that even Kaiden could hear his words clearly. “Let the man you’re interrogating walk! Any other arrests you made as well! The deaths resulted from a police raid on a cartel or something, I don’t care!”
The urgency in the caller’s tone made it seem as if the fate of the country depended on the detective following his orders down to the letter.
“B-b-but sir! It’s a done-and-dusted case! I could charge him right now and-”
“SILENCE!” The Chief of Staff started screaming from the top of his lungs. “I don’t need to explain myself to you, detective! Let them go and make sure there’s no trail of them left in the system as well! If you don’t do as told, I’ll have you arrested for domestic terrorism!”
“D-domestic t-t-t-terrosim?!” Montgomery cried with utter disbelief. He was a loyal police officer who served this country for three decades with a spotless track record, and now his freedom was threatened? For what? Arresting a mass murderer? However, the detective knew when he needed to bow his head and back off. No one wanted a dog who barked too much.
“Yes, sir. Understood.”
…
“Boyfriend!” Julia shouted as she rushed at Kaiden to hug him.
“Hey, people will get the wrong idea,” he replied with amusement but didn’t reject her embrace.
“But I don’t even know what your name is!”
“Kaiden.”
“Kaiden, nice to meet you!” she cheered while strengthening her grip around him.
“Yes, nice to meet you!” the other ladies who stood around watching the spectacle unfold also greeted him.
“Thanks for killing the bastard.” Many offered him their gratitude in a similar fashion.
“Don’t worry about it. He got what he deserved.”
“You must have friends in very high places! I’ve never seen such an obvious murder case get thrown out this swiftly,” another said with sparkling eyes full of amazement. “This is the kind of thing that only happens in movies or fairy tales! I can’t believe how fast everything went down!”
Right?! My heart is still throbbing violently in my chest!”
