A brilliant smile adorned her lips as she used the remaining duration of her Lunar Glide to dash into Kaiden’s embrace and nuzzle her head into his chest. Kaiden chuckled at his girlfriend’s antics, he was just as surprised by Aria’s actions as the other two girls were.

However, he was always open to having a sexy schizo yandere GF, so there were no red flags raised in his mind at all. Instead, he began stroking her lush silver hair while assessing the information he managed to gather.

Back when they awakened, he found it strange that he got three spells while his Valkyries only got one each. However, their spells were powerful on their own, while his were rather lackluster on an individual level. [Doom Strike], [Warpath], and [Fiery Burst] were lacking compared to [Telekinesis], [Stormblade], and [Lunar Arc] in a direct comparison.

He thought that the initial spells the ladies unlocked were going to become the core of their classes as they unlocked more of them, and this quickly turned out to be the correct hypothesis.

His Wrath stance might become his trademark ability while the initial spell of the girls would turn out to become theirs, with their new spells depending on that ability in one shape or form.

Two of Nyx’s new spells, namely [Kinetic Shard] and [Astral Summon], depended on her [Telekinesis] to throw the projectiles at her enemies.

Aria’s [Lunar Overload] was just her charging [Lunar Arc] until it overloaded, while Luna’s [Thunder Slash] needed [Stormblade] to be active for it to become useable.

Thus, his hypothesis was that…

Luna would become a melee combatant who used speed and chaos to her advantage to wreak havoc.

Aria would become an orbital mage who unleashed devastation on their enemies.

Nyx would use her dominion over space itself to become a nightmare of a crowd controller who could cause major damage while also protecting her allies, becoming the queen of utility.

Lastly, his Wrath stance would evolve until Kaiden became a walking catastrophe, a pure force of nature as he destroys all who dare stand in his path. This would be assisted by his other stances, such as Gluttony allowing him to regenerate from the wounds he might suffer in the process and also gaining little buffs thanks to [Harvest], the passive ability that picked up orbs when he slayed his enemies.

While Kaiden was musing about these topics, the chat was going absolutely wild.

“The targets of my surveillance mission! The three Valkyrie-classed women!”

The chairman couldn’t help but frown. “They reached level 25 already? But they just awakened. This is probably a world record.”

When one reached and surpassed bottlenecks, the first of which would happen at level 25, they would receive new spells, which was the phenomenon the chairman was referencing.

“No! They’re still in the beginner dungeon, and their stats seem to be that of awakened who are at the beginning of their leveling journey.”

The chairman’s frown only increased in intensity upon hearing her words. “So you’re telling me that three awakened just so happened to re-awaken in the same short time frame, all of whom just so happened to be close acquaintances and also happened to have the Valkyrie epithet in their classes?”

Re-awakening was an incredibly rare phenomenon that only occurred to a select few people in the past decade throughout the whole world. Those that re-awakened would receive a new class and abilities. Thus far, all cases resulted in the re-awakener receiving a stronger class than the previous one.

“Sir, I don’t know…!” Grace replied with unease being evident in her tone. These people who she was tasked to observe seemed like normal young adults having fun up until a few minutes ago, but now, they more so resembled aliens than humans in her eyes. “They still have access to their original spells, and the new ones seem to come from the same vein; they are very synergistic. I don’t think they re-awakened; more so, it’s as if they surpassed a bottleneck without reaching level 25!”

The chairman remained silent and unmoving as the gears in his brain moved with alarming speed.

He thought of numerous paths he could take.

These four were by far the most curious case study they had stumbled upon.

If only they could research them extensively, the United States might uncover many secrets of the mana apocalypse. These discoveries could be the key that would let them retain their dangerously fleeting global dominance over the other superpowers who were rapidly catching up to them due to their higher population numbers, which resulted in significantly more citizens awakening.
