Chapter 109: Chapter 109 Who would ever choose her?
“Lilith!!!” he barked, his voice sharp as he pulled Lia closer, his arm tightening protectively around her.
“Why are you making my sweetheart cry?” His gaze turned cold, his expression filled with disgust as he glared at Lilith.
“She’s always been so kind to you-always hiding your black deeds, even when you deserved to be exposed for the ugly person you are!” he continued, his voice dripping with self-righteousness.
Rayan held Lia closer, his hand brushing against her expensive bag as he felt her delicate frame tremble in his arms.
His dark eyes looked Lilith up and down, his expression laced with contempt.
Who would ever choose her?
he thought, his lip curling.
She might have a pretty face, but she’s nothing like a real woman.
No softness, no elegance-nothing.
Meanwhile, Lilith remained calm, her icy gaze fixed on the ridiculous scene unfolding before her.
Do they practice these pathetic performances together, or does it just come naturally to them?
she wondered, suppressing the urge to laugh..
They haven’t even let me speak, and they’re already starring in their self-made soap opera, she thought dryly.
Sure, as a devil, I have to say-I’ve never met people like this in my life.
She let out a soft, exaggerated “Umm…” and glanced around dramatically before fixing her fake shocked expression on them.
“Oh, wait!
There’s no camera?” she said, her tone laced with mock disbelief.
“I thought someone must be shooting a drama here.” Her sarcastic words hit their mark, and Rayan’s face immediately twisted in anger.
“You ugly woman, how dare you-” he began, his voice rising.
But before he could finish, an older man walking past stopped and turned to look at Rayan.
The man’s expression was cold and stern as he eyed him up and down.
“Young man,” the old man said in a deep, unimpressed voice, “I don’t believe you’re blind at such a young age.” With that, the Old man shook his head pityingly and walked off, leaving a stunned silence in his wake.
Rayan’s face flushed a deep shade of red, his embarrassment visible as he clenched his fists.
“Don’t be angry, Ray!” Lia cooed, patting his arm as she pressed closer to him, her delicate voice trembling.
“You know how Lilith is!” she continued, her eyes glistening with fake tears.
“When she had a chance to be with you, she left you.
I even backed away because she was my soul sister, but now…” Lia choked back a sob for added effect.
“Now she’s trying to impress you again because she can’t stand to see us happy together.

I can’t believe my soul sister doesn’t want me to be happy.” Her tears flowed freely now as she buried her face into Rayan’s chest, shaking slightly as though Lilith had just shattered her entire world.
Rayan, ever the protective “knight,” hugged her closer, glaring at Lilith with unbridled contempt.
“See what you’ve done?!” he hissed.
“She’s always been kind to you, and this is how you repay her?
You’re nothing but heartless!” Lilith raised a brow, her lips curling into a faint smirk as she watched the theatrics.
Heartless?
she mused.
I’ve barely said a word, and you’re already crying rivers.
Impressive.
Crossing her arms, Lilith tilted her head slightly, her sharp gaze locking onto the pair.
“Kind to me?” she echoed, her tone sharp with disbelief.
“Yeah, yeah, I get it!
So kind she slept with my boyfriend.
So kind she spread fake rumors about me…” Her voice trailed off, but her expression hardened, her piercing blue eyes growing colder as memories filled her mind.
Before she could continue, Rayan interrupted, his voice dripping with disdain.
“Me and Lia love each other!” he declared, his tone rising as if trying to prove something.
“Don’t think about coming between us now!” He stepped closer to Lia, wrapping an arm around her protectively.
“I gave you a chance, Lilith, but you humiliated me in front of everyone.” His words were filled with hatred, his eyes glaring at her as if she were the sole cause of all his misfortunes.
Then, as if to further prove his point or to make her jealous, he leaned down suddenly and kissed Lia hard, his movements almost aggressive.
Lia gasped at first but quickly melted into the kiss, clutching his shirt dramatically as if they were in the middle of a romantic movie scene.
Lilith watched them with a calm, almost bored expression.
She tilted her head further, a faint smirk tugging at her lips.
Oh, this is rich, she thought.
Trying to make me jealous?
Please.
She uncrossed her arms, her eyes glinting with cold amusement as she prepared her next move.
“Done with your little show?” she asked casually, her tone cutting through the tension like a knife.
“Because if you’re waiting for applause, it’s not happening.” Lia and Rayan froze, their dramatic kiss faltering as they glanced at Lilith.
Lilith’s smirk grew sharper, her confidence radiating as she added, “You two deserve each other-fake, shallow, and utterly pathetic.
Enjoy your little fantasy world.” Rayan’s face twisted with anger as he strode toward Lilith, his fists clenched at his sides.
Blood rushed to his head, clouding his judgment.
His emotions boiled over as a crazed thought consumed him-he’d grab her, kiss her, and shut her mouth once and for all.
But just as he reached out to grab her, Lilith dodged swiftly, stepping to the side with a grace that left him stumbling.
Rayan’s balance faltered, and he crashed face-first into a rack of clothes.
The commotion sent nearby shoppers glancing their way, but before Rayan could completely topple over, Lilith caught him by the arm.
She straightened him up with surprising ease, her grip firm but controlled.
For a brief, foolish moment, when Rayan’s eyes met hers, his heart skipped a beat.
She still cares about me, he thought, hope blooming in his chest like a fool.
But his moment of delusion was short-lived.
Lilith’s lips curled into a cold, sharp smile as she shoved him hard.
