Chapter 15: Chapter 15 Where is she?
Rose was happy staying with her beautiful sister.
“Your family must be worried for you,” Lilith said, letting her hair fall loose, its soft waves framing her face.
“No, they’re not,” Rose pouted, crossing her arms defiantly.
Lilith didn’t push her any further.
She simply walked to her room, and Rose followed close behind, sticking to her like a little shadow.
Taking out a pair of pajamas, Lilith handed them to Rose.
“Change,” she instructed gently.
Rose nodded, disappearing into the bathroom.
Meanwhile, Lilith unbuttoned her blouse, slipping into her nightwear and feeling the weight of the day ease off.
She moved to the guest room next to hers, making sure everything was comfortable for Rose.
After a warm shower and fresh clothes, Rose came out, looking more at ease and even a little refreshed.
The pajamas looked a bit oversized on Rose’s small frame, sleeves and pant legs hanging loose.
She tugged at them, looking a little sheepish.
“You can sleep in the guest room,” Lilith said, her tone matter-of-fact.
But Rose’s eyes widened in surprise.
“No, sister!
I want to sleep with you…” she blurted out, only to catch herself when she saw Lilith’s eyebrow arch and her arms cross.
Rose hesitated, suddenly shy.
“I mean… sister, I’m afraid of sleeping alone,” she murmured, glancing down, her voice softening as if afraid of being sent away.
Lilith’s expression softened just a bit.
Just as Lilith was about to say something, the doorbell rang, breaking the quiet.
“I’ll get it,” she said to Rose, heading to the door with a hint of curiosity.
Who would come at this hour?
She remembered that the original owner didn’t have any close friends or family in the area.
But when she opened the door, she was taken aback.
Standing there was none other than her “Human doll”-Sebastian.
His usually neat hair was slightly tousled, and he wore a black shirt with a few buttons undone, exposing a glimpse of his toned chest.
His intense, dark eyes were fixed on her, taking in the sight of her in her casual, loose nightwear.

For a brief moment, his gaze darkened, lingering over the curve of her figure in the black nightdress that reached just above her knees, contrasting against her fair skin.
Her loose hair framed her face, and her icy blue eyes met his with a directness no one else dared to attempt.
“Where is she?” he demanded, his voice low, almost a whisper, as he stepped inside, moving close-too close, his gaze never breaking from hers.
The warmth of his body radiated toward her, and his cologne filled the space between them, a heady mix of sandalwood and something darker, stirring an unexpected thrill within her.
Her heart gave a single hard beat.
This “human doll” seemed almost too intense, his presence pressing against her in a way she hadn’t anticipated.
Lilith tilted her head slightly, lips curving in a smirk, holding his gaze, unfazed.
“Impatient, are we?” she teased, her voice smooth.
His jaw tightened, eyes narrowing, but a flicker of something unreadable crossed his expression before he spoke again, voice huskier this time.
“I said, where is she?” “Brother…” came the soft, familiar voice of his sister.
Sebastian turned to see Rose standing there with wide, innocent eyes, watching them.
She dashed over to him, throwing her small arms around his, looking up with a mix of worry and determination.
“Brother, sister didn’t do anything!” she insisted, her voice trembling.
“It’s me…
I ran away, and sister saved me from those bad guys.” She clung to him, her words an urgent plea.
Sebastian’s hardened expression softened slightly as he looked down at her, then shifted his gaze to Lilith.
He took in her composed stance, her lips curved in a sly, almost mischievous smile.
“So, my sir is your devil brother…” Lilith remarked, her tone light but unmistakably teasing, her eyes darting to Sebastian as she repeated the nickname.
Sebastian’s jaw tightened, his gaze darkening at her words.
My sir.
That was new, and it was clear he didn’t appreciate it.
“Rose,” he said, his voice low and firm, a hint of warning there, though it didn’t seem to phase her in the least.
She looked up at him, still holding onto his arm, her face defiant.
Lilith stepped forward, closing the door with a quiet click and looking between the two siblings.
The clock on the wall read 8:03 PM.
“Since your brother’s here, little girl, you should go with him,” she said, her tone smooth, though there was a finality to it.
Rose’s eyes grew wide and glossy, her lips pouting as she shook her head.
“Nooo!
I want to stay with you,” she protested, eyes big and pleading, her voice rising in a small, determined shout.
Her expression was one of pure innocence, but her intent was clear: she was staying.
“Rose…” Sebastian’s voice dropped, his tone a bit sharper, but she held her ground, crossing her arms and refusing to back down.
“No, no, brother!
You’re bad, you’re bad!” she cried, her voice turning into loud, dramatic sobs.
Her tiny form shook as she clung to Lilith, using every bit of her cuteness as a weapon.
Sebastian closed his eyes briefly, fighting his frustration.
Lilith watched him, amusement flickering in her eyes as she enjoyed this rare sight of him struggling to keep his composure.
Without another word, Lilith placed a gentle hand on Rose’s shoulder, a subtle smile on her lips.
“Little girl, your brother must be worried about you.
You should go with him, don’t let him worry too much,” she said softly, though her tone left no room for argument.
Rose, however, looked down, her small fingers fiddling nervously.
She didn’t want to go back to that cold, lonely house; here, with this beautiful, strong sister, she felt an unexpected warmth, a comfort she rarely felt at home.
Seeing the hesitation, Sebastian crossed his arms, his gaze intense.
“If you’re staying here, then I’ll stay here too,” he stated, his eyes not leaving Lilith’s face.
His tone was firm, making it clear that he wouldn’t be leaving without her.
Lilith met his challenging gaze with a calm, almost amused expressio.
But before she could respond, the doorbell rang once more.
